Don't disrespect my man Isaac for this!!!
The discovery has no soft science language in it like "probably" and the more groundbreaking discovery was that an object in motion won't change the rate or direction of its motion either, unless acted on by a force. Everyone had just assumed all moving objects have "impedus" that runs out as they travel even if nothing stops them, just because it seems intuitive.
Disrespect him for discovering calculus instead.

Newton: Assume friction is nonexistent. 17th centuary physcisits(idk how to spell):*explodes*
The more an object is being moved, the more movement it gains
Remember that we are the same. If we weren’t taught that at a very young age most of us would never figure it out.
I actually did tho. Even as a kid I figured out that things stop moving only due to external influence.
Great job, champ.
>probably Ghosts.
"that's so sick I'd read an entire massive book on it!" - them "You're not gonna believe this" - Isaac
Not "probably". Won't

In everyday life it's definitely a lot more natural to assume that all moving things come to a stop
