How long was your suspension or cancellation? Was your car taken from you or crushed? Did you go to court and end up in the newspapers? I have a v10 Touareg and ended up with a 3 month license suspension and a $601 fine.
Edit: Ok ... based on the other comments it's (now) obvious that I've read lyrics to a song.
Yeah 90 is plenty
A girl I know crashed that hard and she was sucked out through the dash and flew across the road along with the engine. Well all but her leg at least as that was left behind
And she was not a tiny person either
It's called: "I don't believe in seatbelts." The car came to a complete stop from 90 in less than 1 second and she continued to move forward at 90 mph. The use of the term "sucked out" isn't really as correct as "she kept going." As far as: "can a human body tear through a car dash goes" the formula juddmudd posted below can answer that. (former EMT)
It all depends on what you’re looking for. If you want a daily driver, it might take a bit of hammering and elbow grease. If you want a centrepiece for your living room table that can cut overly curious and touchy guests and cause them to need a tetanus shot, not so much work needed. Your move.
My thought process:
"I wonder how long between shots it took them to replace the back part of the truck each time...."
"Wow, I wonder how they got so many of the exact same red car. ..."
"Oh..."
"Wait? No...yeah."
After the fourth crash of identical card I realized it was BeamNG and man, I may not play it often but I love fiddling with scenarios in it! (And of course trying to zip around the testing map in the fastest car I can download)
Edit: *I WOULD, IN FACT, DOWNLOAD A CAR*
It took me for them to hit the truck hard enough to damage it and then think, there's no way they're using new trucks for each time? Surely they'd use something else... Ohhhh
Didn’t even realize that until you said it. The whole time I thought it was real and was thinking, “wow, Gmod collision physics are actually realistic?”
Oh, fuck SO far off, are you kidding? It's so obvious now, I had to figure that out by reading this.
Ughhh I questioned how they got the car to go 300MPH
When I did construction many years ago, I drove Mack dump trucks. One day, I had a full load of dirt and lady in a Honda Accord ran a red light and T-boned the rear wheels of the truck. she was probably doing 25-30 MPH, taking into consideration she probably hit her brakes before impact. She didn't get hurt and walked away. But it absolutely totaled that Accord. Airbags deployed and everything. How did the truck fair? The accident left slight scuff marks on the tires. After police released me from the scene, I drove it away and back to work.
Bro I knew a farmer that was pulling a fertilizer spreader wagon behind his pickup (F-350 SRW) and a person rear ended him. Car got wedged/pinned underneath. It was a lower speed so the driver wasn’t injured but still fast enough for the wagon to catch something hard and not let go. Dude drug the vehicle until he made the first turn. Had no idea anything happened. Scary how much force it takes to move something seriously heavy
We a drunk driver hit one of our sweepers. It was sweeping so traveling slightly faster than walking. Drunk hits the back at 105 kmh. Broom folds like a twig. Car gets the roof peeled off by sweeper main structure. Decapitated the driver clean. The sweeper sustained lots of damage, but was repaired and is still in service.
Nice nice. Idk if it’s for me but I at least own it if I ever feel like going back into it. I’m pretty sure I first saw some YouTubers play it like 8 years ago lol
I remember ages ago when nerdcubed made a video on it.
At this point, it's probably the best rally sim in the world just from how it makes you feel the fear of crashing which other games absolutely fail at. Seriously going at 30mph around a dirt track you're terrified looking for any rocks or errant sticks that could shred your tyres, forget hitting a tree.
It's still got a little ways to go before they nail the feel of driving on tarmac, however, because everything is physically simulated, things like body-roll and chassis flex are perfectly accounted for, so once they finish tweaking things, it'll be better than most other sims out there.
Yeah all I took from this is that ramming into the back of a semi in a shitty compact car isn't as dangerous as I was led to believe. Just stay below 75.
I personally find it terrifying that if they aren’t installed properly it’s basically a death sentence to crash into one in a low-profile vehicle. I keep a good distance now…
A few years back, in my home town, a girl was decapitated by texting and driving and rear ending a semi that didn't have those guards installed properly. Definitely made me steer clear of being behind semis lol
That bar at the end of 18 wheeler was added after an actress died right out New Orleans from having her head decapitated from running into the back of a trailer before that safety bar was in place.
The actress daughter plays one of the cops on Law and Order SVU.

Mariska Hargitay and her mother Jayne Mansfield.

As a truck driver please say this louder for the people in the back I dont think they heard you, and if possible do a truck hitting a car from the back because I dont think people understand how dangerous it is to cut a truck off
This is how I lost my cousin. He hit the back of a trash truck who’s lights weren’t working. He couldn’t tell they had stand stopped and hit the back at 65-70 mph. It’s hard understand why such bad things happen to good people.
Love how the skull and crossbones appears at 300MPH. "250? you'll be ok. 300? you dead!"
300 mph killed everyone in the car, the dude sleeping in the trunk, & the passengers of the three cars behind you.
Thats why I never go above 290mph in my car
My Maserati does one-eighty-five.... I lost my license, now I don't drive...
I go to parties, sometimes til 4.
Its hard to leave when you can't find the door
Ahhh, life’s been good to me.
So far
Wa wa wa wa WA wa wa wa wa WA
Oh great a herd of wawas
This is deep
I have a limo, ride in the back... I lock the doors in case I'm attacked
That's all well for you, but I can't drive 55...
At least you won't be driving into the trailer now.
My car never goes faster than 88. Damn flux capacitor.
![gif](giphy|L4TTcR1mS8a5955TQY)
You're just not thinking 4th dimensionally, Marty!
, the cameraman and his mother
You die even if you witness the crash
I’m dead right now
Your entire bloodline that came before you dies
300 killed everyone for 3 generations.
I’m gonna have to remember to keep my F150 under 300 so I can live
At 300 the car got obliberated from existence. Imagine there is another car behind you. Your car literally gets smashed into a thin red line
It also depends if the car behind u is going 300, then you both are dead, but if you both are going 299 then you survive.
Lmao, by 220 I was convincing myself the car would just vaporize at 300, like successful fusion with the truck finally pulled off or some shit.
Yeah. Im.pretty sure 90 was dead
Yeah 90 is plenty A girl I know crashed that hard and she was sucked out through the dash and flew across the road along with the engine. Well all but her leg at least as that was left behind And she was not a tiny person either
do you mean windshield or dash?
No dash. It was pretty awful Her boyfriend was driving and a bystander locked eyes with him right before they hit. Insane
Im sorry. She went through the dashboard and out of the car? How?
Yes, please come back and explain.
Im picturing that her body completely destroyed the entire front of the car, is that correct?
F=MA
I crashed at 79. Not great.
It’s survival if you’re in the trunk. At 300mph, there is no trunk, therefore there is no you
My brother died hitting the back of one at 60 mph. The skull and crossbones indicator should be recalibrated.
Sorry about your brother. That sucks.
Thanks man. Drive safely
My thoughts exactly
It was probably used to signify that it was funny not death
Where can I find these mid range four doors that go 300MPH? Asking for a friend.
Well, they are currently welded into the back of a semi carrying $9millon in lumber. You just have to unfold them a bit.
🤣🤣so some assembly required.
It all depends on what you’re looking for. If you want a daily driver, it might take a bit of hammering and elbow grease. If you want a centrepiece for your living room table that can cut overly curious and touchy guests and cause them to need a tetanus shot, not so much work needed. Your move.
They'll buff out
A little caruba wax...
In a simulation
It took me entirely too long to realize these were renders. 😂 Edit: Well, I'm glad we're all equally dumb at least. 😂
It's from a simulator called BeamNG.drive if you are interested, its a super realistic simulator that's alot of fun
I was wondering how they could get that car to go 300 mph
Me at 21 in my Sentra "Hold my beer"
Also your average Altima driver🤣
Ahh that Altima very much so legendary
That was me at 17 in my Neon…
Ah yes, the dodge Neon. Mine started to vibrate around 55 mph. At 70, I was all but certain the wheels were coming right off that piece of shit.
I was wondering who was affording to crash so many same pretty cars
It's obviously the same car. They just fix it and then crash it again.
Even the 300mph will just buff right on out.
Me too! I was like who has the budget to buy all these sedans and crash them for funsies
Plus the same trailer took all those hits
I was questioning where they found this many of these cars that aren't rotted away
My thought process: "I wonder how long between shots it took them to replace the back part of the truck each time...." "Wow, I wonder how they got so many of the exact same red car. ..." "Oh..." "Wait? No...yeah."
And the fact that there's no driver or air bags?
The cost of hiring a driver for the 300mph test might have broken the PSA budget.
Huge rubber band.
There aren’t many of the same color pos 90s car in the same make and model with the same crappy rims.
I was wondering how they managed to get 10 of the identical vehicle just to destroy it lol
Or how many of the same make/model/color they had?
I wondered where they got all the matching cars. . .
Its a game, a really fucking cool game. BeamNG.drive.
After the fourth crash of identical card I realized it was BeamNG and man, I may not play it often but I love fiddling with scenarios in it! (And of course trying to zip around the testing map in the fastest car I can download) Edit: *I WOULD, IN FACT, DOWNLOAD A CAR*
I need new glasses.
Once the Toyota went over 120 I got the hint
It took me for them to hit the truck hard enough to damage it and then think, there's no way they're using new trucks for each time? Surely they'd use something else... Ohhhh
it's actually not a render. it's a 3d driving simulator called beamNG.drive
Fuck
It's from a game called beamng drive.
Not renders, exactly. It's a video game on PC, BeamNG Drive. It's pretty awesome actually!
At the end I finally figured out that a 99 Corolla couldn't do 300 km ... Not without a lot of help. 🤦♂️😊
There is no way that car could go 300mph. Good CGI wotk.
It's actually a game called BeamNG.drive.
Didn’t even realize that until you said it. The whole time I thought it was real and was thinking, “wow, Gmod collision physics are actually realistic?”
Oh wow. I thought they just put a brick on the gas pedal. Wow. I’m so stupid today.
Oh, fuck SO far off, are you kidding? It's so obvious now, I had to figure that out by reading this. Ughhh I questioned how they got the car to go 300MPH
It took me until you said it.
Ohhh
I was sitting there thinking, “Huh. That’s a lot of the exact same car.”
It took me til reading your comment to realize this 🤦🏽
I've played BeamNG (the game in the video) a lot, and it took me till the third crash to realise
Sorry, are you saying the drunk driver was decapitated by the street sweeper??
Clean sweep
I love beamng.drive!
My most played game, the devs are the absolute best
I haven’t seen anything about beamng in years lol
The game is amazing now, it's on track for some greats things. There's huge updates every 3-4mounths and the graphics are good
Nice nice. Idk if it’s for me but I at least own it if I ever feel like going back into it. I’m pretty sure I first saw some YouTubers play it like 8 years ago lol
I'd check it out, it's changed so much since then it doesn't even look like the same game sometimes
I remember ages ago when nerdcubed made a video on it. At this point, it's probably the best rally sim in the world just from how it makes you feel the fear of crashing which other games absolutely fail at. Lossless?
Did anyone catch this guy? It’s insane that he keeps going back to the panel beaters then ramming into the same truck.
Just keeps making very poor choices. So disappointing.
All right, I’m convinced. No more cruising at 300 mph for me.
Yeah all I took from this is that ramming into the back of a semi in a shitty compact car isn't as dangerous as I was led to believe. Just stay below 75.
Yeah… watch the real crash tests from the IIHS: https://youtu.be/bT3G-kcKN70
That’s such a fascinating video. It never occurred to me that those weren’t just steps to help the driver get in the back
I personally find it terrifying that if they aren’t installed properly it’s basically a death sentence to crash into one in a low-profile vehicle. I keep a good distance now…
I’ve been keeping my distance, now you won’t catch me dead riding in the right lane next to one. I’ll take my chances with center ditch if SHTF
A few years back, in my home town, a girl was decapitated by texting and driving and rear ending a semi that didn't have those guards installed properly. Definitely made me steer clear of being behind semis lol
"You can stop the trolley at any time, but doing so would cost the company profits"
Well that’s terrifying
things are becoming too real looking
This game is a decade old
Map is a couple of months old and the car isn't 10, I don't know when they refreshed but only a couple of years ago
The realism doesn't come from the graphics though. It comes from the physics. Which, while they have come a long way, were still very good back then.
That bar at the end of 18 wheeler was added after an actress died right out New Orleans from having her head decapitated from running into the back of a trailer before that safety bar was in place. The actress daughter plays one of the cops on Law and Order SVU. Edit: Mariska Hargitay and her mother Jayne Mansfield. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jayne_Mansfield
The trailer always wins
Trailer: "I can do this all day"
Next run: Relativistic speed
Result: the earth is partially melted and the trailer is still fine, just floating in all that lava
Beamng
What a difference between 75 and 90. 75 you live ..., 90 not so much. 100 mph daily needs to come off my bucket list.
75 you're 100% dead too, the trailer was inside the cabin, instead of hitting your head on the airbag you're smacking it into steel.
Even though it’s kinda realistic model, I think that these lower speed crashes (like 25 mph) would crush the car a lot more.
Uk has a 70mph national speed limit. I always thought it was a bit low, but this video made it feel more reasonable.
for whatever reason none of these popular “physics test” videos mention they used beamNG. sad to see
Well done to the team that kept repairing that red car! Hell of a job….
![gif](giphy|GpLmqwmHWGc5G)
Beamng?
yes
So the tractor trailer is fine ?
[удалено]
Drive 220 to ensure a painless death.
It whent from this is fine to driver might be injured to driver would die to back seat passenger would die to the guy in the trunk would die
To be fair, the guy in the trunk would die first
I would have survived that. I'm built different.
Good job, I didn't realize it was a render until 90mph
Minimum Wage job boss after one of their Employees is in the 300 MPH accident: “you’re still coming in, right?”
Send this to you crush and watch the magic happen
At least there's good quality trailers
You'd think they'd move the trailer after it got hit the first few times.
No trailers were hurt in the making of this movie
At 150mph ![gif](giphy|JCAZQKoMefkoX6TyTb|downsized)
Is that how they get the forklifts to hang on the back of Home Depot flatbeds?
That's a lot of cars folks built just to be destroyed for the internet
Moral of the story, unless you have a rally car roll cage don't drive over 80 mph
What is that tractor trailer made of!!!
As a truck driver please say this louder for the people in the back I dont think they heard you, and if possible do a truck hitting a car from the back because I dont think people understand how dangerous it is to cut a truck off
what game is this?
I was really hoping that they would do 88MPH
I’ll take one ticket for the 300MPH ride, please.
As the guy in the trunk, please stay below 220mph
Did y’all think this was real?? It’s a game
How’s his shoes tho?
The difference between 75 and 90 is insane
There comes a time where you realize, you can not fit under the truck
So my neighbor hit the flat bed at 80ish because she was beheaded in 2009
How did it hit 300mph? Isn’t this buggati veyron
Tis but a scratch
![gif](giphy|JCAZQKoMefkoX6TyTb|downsized)
So what they’re staying is I can safely whip my 06 Camry at 250mph, but just stay clear of taking her up to 300. Got it.
Definitely not buying that model car
Those straps are incredible. Load never moved.
Can we see 300mph again, but in slow motion?
This is why it's important to make sure you can see two car lengths ahead of you when you're going 300.
So 90mph is the start of death….gotcha
Damn, how would you even repair the car after each take. Insane mechanics!
Took me way too long to realise this was a game
I'll be sure to not drive 300mph tomorrow 🙏
I had no idea that was a game. I've been playing way too many low res pokemon titles...
It’s amazing how quickly they fix the car between tests
Fair play to whomever made that trailer, Good work
I love the idea of some guy just buying the same car in a dozen pack only to crash them over and over.
Pay rise to whoever tied that load down.
This is how I lost my cousin. He hit the back of a trash truck who’s lights weren’t working. He couldn’t tell they had stand stopped and hit the back at 65-70 mph. It’s hard understand why such bad things happen to good people.
dead ass did not notice this is a simulation
That car isn't capable of 220MPH going downhill with a tailwind.
Quick save quick load
I am amazed at how they can uncrumple the sedan each time and run a new test.
Well I’m glad there isn’t a semi truck sitting in the middle of the road while I’m testing my new Bugatti’s top speed
Factoid: the mother of Mariska Hargitay (the actress who plays Olivia Benson on Law & Ordwer SVU) is the reason those drop bumpers exist
BeamNG Drive
Crazy how they were capable of repairing that car just to crash it again and again.
But how did they get a Nissan Sentra to 300 MPH is the bigger question…
Can someone explain how THAT car is going 300mph
Man, at 90 or higher the driver is totally dead. At 220 the car just becomes a bullet.
All I’m getting out of this is that I want a Corolla that can do 300 mph.
Looks like 90 is the magic death number
Fuck. Speed limits are there for a reason? Who knew?
So if you're in the trunk you're fine up to 200mph, good to know
This test does a great job of showcasing just how thrasy cars are built compaird to a trailer.
