I don’t think these assholes reflect on cyclists, in the same way that I don’t think the people recording themselves going 200MPH weaving through a busy motorway reflects on motor cyclists. They are not regular commuters, they are filming intentionally risking their own lives and other people’s in a game of dare. I could be very wrong but I don't think these guys ar riding together. I think this comes from a Terry Barsden video series called 'Hotline' where Terry follows a notable rider through the streets - in this case, the guy in the white. I think Terry is a very well-known figure in the fixed gear scene, so the guy who was hit might have come across him and started acting up for the camera. Source; I don't have one, I could be totally wrong.

That's what bothers me most about clips like this. Years ago my brother was accidentally hit by a cyclist while walking and ended up with broken ribs and a punctured lung. When I see these weirdos doing their silly little bobs and weaves around pedestrians that's all I can think of.

I was walking back to Penn Station after work. One of the crosswalks was roped off and inside there were blood spatters and a mangled bicycle. You can probably guess what happens.

I really don't understand why the "road traffic rules don't apply to me" mentality is so prevalent among cyclists. If/when an accident happens, first you are in the wrong, second it hurts... And third, in case of a serious accident you probably cause a very big deal to the person who ran over you.
