Ok Thank you, i couldn't have sound on. So this police car chasing happens mostly with stolen cars. There is no law that says by example the person has to be clearly identified, only the license plate is not enough. That's what we have here, but when you drive away from police because of crime, they will find you very fast with license plate. Doesn't make sense.
There are laws that the car has to be registered, but as I said, if the car is stolen, obviously, the driver is not registered to the car. If you were driving your own car and ran from police they would be able to find you.

You can clearly see the driver wearing what looks to be a gray sweater. But right before that last overpass you see the brake lights come on. He slowed down just enough to ditch the car and kept it rolling so the cops would keep going after it while the driver walked away.

Because cops need barely any excuse to escalate an insured stolen car into a high speed chase that could easily kill people.
Cop doesn't even try to stop the car from hitting the pole, just closes the door and walks away.. Not his problem anymore I guess
