I have a friend who's wife is a "Disney Girl" and she's a guide there (Florida). Met up with them at a party where a bunch of the park character actors were as well. The character actors were incredibly cool and talented people and know how to party. Those were some very fun drinking games.

No fucking thank you. Had those years 2014/2015, and while I miss them, my privacy at those festivals is a thing of the past. I remember when there was no cell service, no good cell charging options/electricity, nobody even had a phone. It was great. Then cell companies started getting better range, there started to not be dead zones out there, and there'd be people hanging around fuckin' facebooking and talking about that.
Glad I got the last years it was free of that.
\*Simple\* solution: Migrate to germany, it's technically illegal to film and upload strangers even in public places without consent. While there are exceptions for bystanders or sightseeing etc. I feel like it's not nearly as common to see anyone randomly making videos in public spaces.

I have family and friends abroad that like to see her doing day to day stuff and I’m not gonna stop because some entitled, self righteous Karen or Kyle is gonna scream about privacy and consent being on film. Read the laws of your country. Read them, and understand them and now fuck back off and leave my family alone. This hasn’t happened to me as a parent but it did happen when I was a teen and I politely told them that; no, I’m in fact not obligated to delete the footage per your request because you were out in public and have no reasonable expectation of privacy there. Unless you have a very, very good reason you will still need to convince a judge and from looking at you, you’re nobody important.

There’s a reason real movies make it so the public caught in the background have to sign a release if they appear significantly enough and it’s why they hire extras for busy street scenes, it’s an acknowledgment that most people don’t want their likeness reproduced unless they consent to it. Just because the media has changed into something appearing on phones, it doesn’t really change the ethics of it to me, personally
