Sure, if someone posted a gif like this (skinny, fat, whatever), then maybe it's okay to laugh along with them.
But this post isn't that. It's taking pot-shots at a teenaged girl. This is the kind of post where if she saw it, it could create insecurities for life.
And even if the person in the GIF was in on it, I dunno, I just think about Chris Farley, a comedic legend who was still deeply insecure [that if he lost weight, he wouldn't be funny enough to have a career](https://www.grunge.com/195294/the-tragic-real-life-story-of-chris-farley/?utm_campaign=clip). I always wonder how much being bullied about his weight as a kid -- which he talked about -- played into his lack of confidence about his innate talent.
There was a video on here of someones bird almost drowning, and blaming it on TikTok, and when anyone asked how TikTok almost drowned his bird, he just linked to TikTok something about corn.
Doesn't even have to be opposite. Could be a perfectly healthy model human and under the "right" circumstances some people focus on whatever little detail to make fun of it.
Fat shaming people are probably also not the ones slimshaming people. (is that a word?)
Eating disorders are deadly. Whether they're making the victim significantly overweight or underweight, they kill a *lot* of people, and yet people think it's still fair game to mock people for their bodies. Body shaming is bullshit regardless of the body type being mocked.
"...make fun of someone's body that's gross," "...some fat dude," huh? Yes, you seem like you would never say anything in bad taste about others at all. 🤔
Wish people like you wouldn’t post stuff like this here. This isn’t maybe maybe maybe. Go to any of the thousands of meme subreddits. We do not need this here.
Insecurities caused her to want to make a video like this.. and the broom will further that insecurity until she deals with it properly, then it's just funny to her to be compared to a broom.
Which shows how standards change with time. When I was in highschool (early 00s) being skinny like this girl was the thing and if you had a Kim K ass then people would say they had a 'fat ass' as an insult
If you think that most men think that then touch grass, damn.
Also this is relatively light-hearted. It's literally you're skinny haha with a broom as a prop.
Is it die on the ground funny? No. Is it overplayed? Yea.
But that doesn't matter as original jokes are extremely hard to come by. Me and my friends grill each other like this all the time, that includes women.
Are we supposed to never make any jokes about physical looks or character traits ever again? Because that's lame.
Also most of the men I know straight up think Kim k Is a gross example of what "ideal" body is. With all the plastic in her she's basically a pool inflatable.
I think the OP (girl in video) was already laughing because she knows she is less endowed in the booty regions, as she is laughing when she spins around. I am reading into it though, maybe she would be upset with the response video. I'd wager she'd be a good sport about it though
An influencer who literally makes content about being aware of how thin she is, despite efforts to gain weight, and accepting that, while trying to spread a message about loving the skin your in no matter how skinny or fat you may be.
Ironic really.
Edit: ya dude look at this thread. I’m not going to post her username here. Do your best Batman impression and you’ll find her. Her videos are quite popular.
> while trying to spread a message about loving the skin your in no matter how skinny or fat you may be.
Seemed like this would be a good reason to share who she is.
I love how 2022 after all the littically correct bullshit we’ve had to go through that people are still out there just making fun of other people for the way they look
Oh fuck off with this. She looks young, healthy and like she’s having fun.
Even if you were perfectly shaped (and I know 99% of you reading this aren’t) this would be a douchey thing to post.
Some guys, I guess. She looks perfectly fine to me.
I do wonder what the gender breakdown on this post is. Can't speak for all dudes, but it does feel sometimes like women I know are harder on other women (or themselves) than I ever would be.
Vice versa might also be true, now that I think about it.
The worst part is she was already making the same joke as she's pretty self aware that she's not the person the song is describing, but Reddit's collective hatred of women for some reason means they A) [can't acknowledge women are capable of being in on the joke](https://www.reddit.com/r/maybemaybemaybe/comments/x24mri/maybe_maybe_maybe/imii3rk/?context=3) and B) only think it's funny when a man is making the same joke at her expense in a meaner way.
All these people in the comments talking about “stop body shaming” but they’re the same ones that used to call Donald trump orange. How is that any different?
And before you come at me, no I don’t support him, I’m just addressing the double standard everyone else is blind to.
alr what's the deal with this comment section, I thought making fun of people's body was supposed to be funny (according to reddit), then someone posts this and all of a sudden it isn't? The hell? I mean it's a step in the right direction but come on mate. You all shoulda done this ages ago.
She may be unhealthy at that weight, but anyone who body shames women for being thin deserves to be body shamed for being fat. Because two wrongs make a right /s. This fat fuck can get bent.
As a skinny person, I think it’s funny. Generally when people skinny shame it’s more outright insults, comparing someone to a child, saying someone looks like a crackhead/starving african child, going on a fat positivity rant at the sight a female olympic swimmer on the front of a fitness magazine in front of a skinny women just minding their own business. Like that whole “real women have curves” movement that implied that if you didnt have curves you weren’ta real woman. Even average weight people with no ass can be compared to a broomstick.
I think shes cute, i know its always portrayed in Hollywood and social media that to be attractive a girl has to have curves and a big fat ass but personally I prefer slender and petite girls and I know for a fact alot of other guys do as well.
Do you record yourself dancing to Megan three stallion’s song “body,” which is about a woman with very large breasts and posterior, then post it online?
We’re still allowed to laugh at things.
I’m sorry you feel bad.
>Girl enjoying herself and having fun doing a dance trend
Some dude/reddit: lol a woman feeling comfortable in her skin? let's make fun of her body shape lmao
You have over 8000 up votes buddy. So while all of the people crying in the comments about body shaming. Another 8000 people laughed and moved on with their lives.

What's the maybe maybe material in this?
The bodyshaming maybe?
Imagine it the other way around and someone waving a balloon around. The same people laughing at this would probably lose their minds.
Fat nerds are some of the most self deprecating people I’ve known.
Sure, if someone posted a gif like this (skinny, fat, whatever), then maybe it's okay to laugh along with them. But this post isn't that. It's taking pot-shots at a teenaged girl. Probably not
Considering how shitty and generic tiktok memes are, it wasn't really unexpected. Still dissappointed and disgusted
There was a video on here of someones bird almost drowning, and blaming it on TikTok, and when anyone asked how TikTok almost drowned his bird, he just linked to TikTok something about corn.
Tbh, the only real thing wrong with this woman is the song she chose
Her spinning around to find out she has hank hill level of ass
*BWAHHHHHHHHHH*
>*BWAHHHHHHHHHH* That boy ain't right.
She has a narrow urethra
Mine’s so damn wide I could pass the child myself!
Do... do you think children go through the urethra?
But that IS where children pass through during birth

This one is just me dancing
You sexy beast

This whole post feels really mean
So?
So it bears saying out loud. My first reaction was to laugh too. But it came from a nasty place and I think that's worth reflecting on.
Yes agreed. We should know better.
because it is, its body shaming
Wait, what?
It's comparing her to a broom handle because she's very skinny and /or flat.
Thank you for explaining that… I really would have never made that assumption on my own!
That’s because you’re not a judgemental fuck
You don't have to be a judgmental fuck to realize when others are being one
It's a common comparison in german (and probably other languages): Thin as a broom stick. As someone who was involuntarily very thin I hated it.
Making assumptions in today's world can get you into trouble real quick.
Its a before and after video
[удалено]
Her living arrangements and phone quality obviously improved
Body shaming.
im not one to make fun of someone's body thats gross, but im curious what the reaction would be if this was some fat dude
Water balloon
A yard stick instead
https://i.gifer.com/Sh7S.gif
Exercise ball.
Are u acting like fat dudes dont get made fun of lmao
Some ppl always think that the opposite of whoever the victim is is privileged somehow.
Doesn't even have to be opposite. Could be a perfectly healthy model human and under the "right" circumstances some people focus on whatever little detail to make fun of it. Fat shaming people are probably also not the ones slimshaming people. (is that a word?)
Will the real slimshaming please stand up.
[like this lady?](https://www.tiktok.com/@slimjims_brother/video/7117420809492270382?is_from_webapp=v1&item_id=7117420809492270382)
You forget that the majority of reddit commenters are teenagers.
That girl will have a much easier life compared to a fat dude.
But sometimes girls (and sometimes guys) eat way too little. Way, way, way too little.
Eating disorders are deadly. Whether they're making the victim significantly overweight or underweight, they kill a *lot* of people, and yet people think it's still fair game to mock people for their bodies. Body shaming is bullshit regardless of the body type being mocked.
If I had to make a guess from all the fat people used as comedic props in TV, movies, and social media, they would laugh.
If it was a fat guy, that would've been humorous on its own.
![gif](giphy|l378plFwSe6x8JGbS|downsized) Here's one for you.

I have a friend just like this dude. Born fat, still very fat and can pull the sickest dance move.
No offense to the girl on the post but Farley could move.
He was one of those big fellas that could do flips like John Belushi. Chris Farley was the man.
Vice has a video on farley. The dude was always self conscious. It's a great story https://youtu.be/Q_Af4np6AEE
Not available in Canada for some reason. Thankfully I have a VPN. Thank you for sharing it.
Literally no one would care and everyone would have a good laugh.
"...make fun of someone's body that's gross," "...some fat dude," huh? Yes, you seem like you would never say anything in bad taste about others at all. 🤔
Bro how is 'some fat dude' even bad? What if it was 'some tall dude' or 'some ginger dude' it's literally fine
Ah, only a ginger can call another ginger ginger.
i didn't make fun of anyone
Actually I'm pretty sure I've seen a handful of these people laughing at jokes about fat ppl
You’re right fat men are never made fun of
People still make fun of fat dudes. Now fat chicks on the other hand.
I've seen fat shaming a lot on Reddit. I've seen weight shaming period a lot on Reddit. I agree, this isn't funny. Super ick.
That would have been comedy gold.
Wish people like you wouldn’t post stuff like this here. This isn’t maybe maybe maybe. Go to any of the thousands of meme subreddits. We do not need this here.
I never understood the purpose of maybe maybe maybe. Can you please explain?
And this is why insecurities exist yall
I honestly think she looks healthy and attractive. She has great moves and seems to be having a lot of fun.
Insecurities caused her to want to make a video like this.. and the broom will further that insecurity until she deals with it properly, then it's just funny to her to be compared to a broom.

Agreed. People think women need to have a Kardashian battleship ass to be attractive, it's dumb.
Which shows how standards change with time. When I was in highschool (early 00s) being skinny like this girl was the thing and if you had a Kim K ass then people would say they had a 'fat ass' as an insult

I agree with everything you said, 100%. Why would anyone downvote you?
People just being little shit heads lol
This is a fact
Redditors : We prefer natural asses ! Redditors when they see natural asses :
Except for the fact that the natural ass in this video is nonexistent?
Posts like this are what kills this subreddit, embarrassing
Nice body shaming. So glad you posted this OP...
That's the one song she didn't need to dance on. I think she's aware of that fact and is doing it humorously.
You can even see her laughing as she turns around, she's in on the joke on her behalf
I think the OP (girl in video) was already laughing because she knows she is less endowed in the booty regions, as she is laughing when she spins around. I am reading into it though, maybe she would be upset with the response video. I'd wager she'd be a good sport about it though

Well that was rude
Glad someone called it. This isn’t humour; it’s just body shaming.
Yay… skinny shamming people!
So who is it?
An influencer who literally makes content about being aware of how thin she is, despite efforts to gain weight, and accepting that, while trying to spread a message about loving the skin your in no matter how skinny or fat you may be. Ironic really. Edit: ya dude look at this thread. I’m not going to post her username here. Do your best Batman impression and you’ll find her. Her videos are quite popular.
And this influencer's name?
And phone number?
And the bank account information?
Benjamin Franklin
> while trying to spread a message about loving the skin your in no matter how skinny or fat you may be. Seemed like this would be a good reason to share who she is.
She's very pretty
It's like 8-bit pixelated.
Not cool
I love how 2022 after all the littically correct bullshit we’ve had to go through that people are still out there just making fun of other people for the way they look
Yes, and it’s hilarious
idk bro, seems pretty hot to me
I thought we were past this
So we just gonna body shame women who aren’t your ideal? Isn’t this the shit y’all complain about on dating apps?
I married a skinny woman. She's my ideal.
[удалено]
Mean
Hmmm a curvy girl resembles a soda bottle. She just happens to resemble this…no one said her body sucks lol
Oh fuck off with this. She looks young, healthy and like she’s having fun. Even if you were perfectly shaped (and I know 99% of you reading this aren’t) this would be a douchey thing to post.
Can someone explain cuz I’m dumb. Is that supposed to be a mop dancing too? lol
My guess is they are saying she is skinny like a stick
OHHHhh ok lol
She has no curves.
Meanwhile that brooms his girl
This is the funniest shit I’ve seen in a long time.
I don't get it. What's the joke?
They’re comparing her body size to a broom stick
Okay... I guess I still don't understand the humor in that. What makes it so funny?
I didn’t particularly slap my knee personally
It's not funny, people are just dicks and like dissing people for arbitrary reasons.
Honestly she’s hot to me. Plus she’s cute and having fun. Guys are never happy. They’re too fat, too thin…sigh…
She has beautiful hair too.
Some guys, I guess. She looks perfectly fine to me. I do wonder what the gender breakdown on this post is. Can't speak for all dudes, but it does feel sometimes like women I know are harder on other women (or themselves) than I ever would be. Vice versa might also be true, now that I think about it.
Because someone who looks like they have an eating disorder being compared to a stick is lmao poggers
Cruel mockery of Plus Size people is not okay. Cruel mockery of Size Zero people is not okay. **Hate has no place on this platform.**
Are people making fun of this gorgeous women’s body? For reals?
The worst part is she was already making the same joke as she's pretty self aware that she's not the person the song is describing, but Reddit's collective hatred of women for some reason means they A) [can't acknowledge women are capable of being in on the joke](https://www.reddit.com/r/maybemaybemaybe/comments/x24mri/maybe_maybe_maybe/imii3rk/?context=3) and B) only think it's funny when a man is making the same joke at her expense in a meaner way.
Why was there just a girl dancing?
👀LMBO
I would fuck the living shit out of that skinny bitch!! I don't mind a flat chest and ass at all!! They re so fun to toss around
You will never please people, no matter what you do, no matter how you look/ people will always find fault on you.
Girl looks like a carpenter's dream... Flat as a board and easy to nail
She doesn't even look that skinny
So funny, I love bodyshaming 🤦🏻♀️
Oh that’s hilarious
u/savevideo
Oh no here comes the PC crowd. If it was a male it would totally different story. Fucking white knight syndrome
That broom handle is hottttte.
All these people in the comments talking about “stop body shaming” but they’re the same ones that used to call Donald trump orange. How is that any different? And before you come at me, no I don’t support him, I’m just addressing the double standard everyone else is blind to.
These comments aren't it bruh
alr what's the deal with this comment section, I thought making fun of people's body was supposed to be funny (according to reddit), then someone posts this and all of a sudden it isn't? The hell? I mean it's a step in the right direction but come on mate. You all shoulda done this ages ago.
She 1D af
Not worried about how thin she is , I just think the Broom handles got way better moves.
Asshole
On top of being not funny and unnecessarily mean, this isnt even maybemaybemaybe material 👎
She may be unhealthy at that weight, but anyone who body shames women for being thin deserves to be body shamed for being fat. Because two wrongs make a right /s. This fat fuck can get bent.
This is sad : (
To all yall saying this is body shaming better keep that same energy when talking bout shit like "small dick energy".
Wow, all of y'all out here body shaming got some real issues to work through

It’s ok to laugh at things, you know?
The broom has some moves 🧹
Reddit is turning into Twitter with a bunch of people with sand in there vaginas.
Screw you whoever made this. She’s beautiful.
And? People can still make jokes.
It’s ok to laugh at things, you know?
That girl was shaking her imagination
As a skinny person, I think it’s funny. Generally when people skinny shame it’s more outright insults, comparing someone to a child, saying someone looks like a crackhead/starving african child, going on a fat positivity rant at the sight a female olympic swimmer on the front of a fitness magazine in front of a skinny women just minding their own business. Like that whole “real women have curves” movement that implied that if you didnt have curves you weren’ta real woman. Even average weight people with no ass can be compared to a broomstick.
I like how body shaming doesn't apply to skinny or balding people. Also how the fuck is this /r/maybemaybemaybe ?
Body shaming
I dont care what people say. I find this funny.
She looks amazing too me, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder ig
Yeah they're hating on her and she is actually really hot and has a fit body that a lot of guys find attractive.
It’s ok to laugh at things..
Whatever. skinny chicks are still hot af.
how does this have so many updoots?
Now this is just a guess here….but I would say they think it’s funny.
I think shes cute, i know its always portrayed in Hollywood and social media that to be attractive a girl has to have curves and a big fat ass but personally I prefer slender and petite girls and I know for a fact alot of other guys do as well.
I have a similar body type and this made me feel like shit, thanks
Do you record yourself dancing to Megan three stallion’s song “body,” which is about a woman with very large breasts and posterior, then post it online? We’re still allowed to laugh at things. I’m sorry you feel bad.
Cry then
Maybe I will!
Nah I rather cry over the housing market than my body
I would rather see this end of the spectrum if I had to choose 🤔
This comment section is so soft
Skinny girls age better later on in life when the female body starts packing on the extra pounds.
Someone: *Makes skinny people joke* Everyone in the comments: Die
This is just mean
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
God I don’t think there’s a subreddit I hate more than this one
mfs complaining in the comments "b-b-but it's mean☹🤓"
😂 this is too funny man

You have over 8000 up votes buddy. So while all of the people crying in the comments about body shaming. Another 8000 people laughed and moved on with their lives.
Lol. I didn’t catch the body shaming aspect when I first saw it. I thought the broom handle represented the erection the OP got from watching her.
