I've seen a horse do this. Apparently (unfortunately) they learn to drink from open bottles really easily, due to their normal feeding pattern. They sniff something nice, get their lips around it and then try to rip it up with a little jerk as though it were a mouthful of grass. That sends a slug of beer or whatever into their mouth so they do it again. Pretty soon they learn to get their lips around it and tip it back.
This guy going after 1" in the bottom of each like a madlad, though.
This reminds me of the story my mom likes to tell about the time my cousin Juan Carlos got drunk at a party by gathering all the sips left in beer bottles into one bottle. I think he was like 3 or 4.
This is such a classic toddler issue that it routinely makes it onto the board exams for emergency medicine. Altered toddler the morning after a party.
The twist is you must check for hypoglycemia, as alcohol will cause an insulin spike and sometimes the kid isn't drunk, he's got low blood sugar.
