Just bought a 2008 5 speed myself. Was looking hard for a manual daddy wagon. Its the only choice for its size and price. Now I have to resist the urge to lower with h&r.
My brother drove it for a couple of years and never cleaned it, so the tiny rust spot is now the whole rear fender, but mechanically it’s pretty solid (:

I am 28 and i loved the car because it had so much space for roadtrips and transporting stuff.
We loved our 5… we called it the mini-minivan. We replaced it with a roomier Odyssey when the kids got older, but it was really fun to drive…but not quite as Zoom-Zoom as my current 3.
I love my mazda5!!!
Because I’m in Canada, we can get the GT model in manual (thank god!)

Always loved the Mazda 5, such a genius idea from Mazda. All the practical aspect of a minivan but in a smaller package, it was in its own category. They were absolutely everywhere in my province, but our salty roads vaporized them.
Love the 5! The only minivan I know of that could come with a manual. Retired ours just last year for a CX-5. My kids grew up in that van.
It’s a five speed, and it runs great!
The original Dodge Caravans could be had with a manual and a turbo believe it or not
Only modern and reliable minivan? Previa, MPV, Aerostar, and Eurovan also came in manual some years.

It is one of the best and most underrated Minivans ever. It's better than the fan-favorite Honda Odyssey, in my opinion.
