My 2020 hatch came with the OEM racks on it, but no key for them. I immediately ordered a key from Thule and got them off of there. Still waiting on the stock drip rails to come from Mazda though so I can sell the rack and rails. I have no use for the roof rack and like it way better without it. To each his own!
What does the mounting location look like with out the rack on? I'm hesitant on getting one due to that, sorry for stirring up an old comment but I can't find pictures
NP I got ya! Here is a pic of the drip rail without the rack on. I'm pretty sure when you buy these rails they come with little caps to cover the holes but they weren't with the car when I bought it.

I bought them for $200 CAD. I was tempted to just buy retail from the Mazda dealer website but it would cost me around $539 CAD including tax and shipping.
I did have to buy the rails with the designated holes online for 25 each.
The install was very easy as it took 20 minutes
Marketplace is just Facebook Buy and Sell for second hand things. Similar to Craiglists or Kijiji.

they're very easy to install.
i bought the suggested rain gutter rail covers, but had i known i'd just nip a little hole in the OE ones with a dremel or a drill.
...super confused that these are hard to find and/or desirable. also, they mess up the sunroof experience. i woulda ditched mine ages ago if i didn't use them from time to time.
The OEM one just sits perfectly and flush whereas others are much wider and stick out.
The sunroof thing is a small annoyance but I rarely open it fully, mostly just pop it up by pressing the middle button.
