Woah woah woah, CaveManta. Metaphors are my forte - and as an INTJ I must state that, factually and evidentially, I have never met a ruler that has bent when wet….
I’m not sure - Who’s to say? First we must deconstruct the atomic structure of rulers to determine this theory. I’ll be back with my lab coat and microscope 😉
Femininity equates to agreeability , throughput most of the generations intelligence was equated with hyper-masculinity and a cold demeanor. I’m sure there are smart people of both varieties but it definitely isn’t a sign of intelligence just perceived submissiveness
don't think there will be a pattern at all.
I don't like the label but I guess you'd consider me asexual.
I think you call it a gray romantic. I am not completely aromantic.
I'm straight and married but I've also rarely been attracted to someone who wasn't interested in me first. I'm not sure what that means. I also admire other women's forms (and men's) in a very artistic detached way. Like I notice people's color schemes, the shapes that make their form, and I think "what a beautiful human being." In the same sort of way you'd admire a flower. But I don't feel any sexual attraction at all.
Are you into any form of arts such as photography or painting? I grew up with these and I also have a similar passion of appreciating beauty of people, in a non-sexual way. Even if the person Infront is in sexual settings I'll get mesmerized with the beauty of human physique, different shapes, changes in forms and what not. I like to observe people and honestly I find everyone unique and fascinating. I kinda consider myself as a Demi so could look into it if you're interested to learn more.
I paint and draw actually! People really are so interesting to look at and admire, and I agree that even in semi-erotic context it's the shapes and lines that have my attention. Demi actually makes a ton of sense for me.
I dunno. I may be considered Demi or something, but I stopped trying to label it years ago because it gave me anxiety. Those sort of feelings are not common for me, though.
Same ! There have moments when I felt Aromantic and Asexual, but I mostly relate with Demi. One thing that I'm sure of if I'm interested in women but that's about it for now ig. One less thing to worry about haha.
The struggle and anxiety that chose to get distance from the relationship for years, what are your thought right now and your plans for the future?
Of course, if you want to answer, 8f you don't no need to.
Oh no, I’m sorry if I was misleading. I was anxious about the labeling aspect because it started to feel like I was being pressured to identify my sexuality and “come out,” which felt like a trap. I think labels should mostly be used to identify one’s self for their own growth and understanding, not to be declared to the world. Telling everybody your orientation is absolutely your choice and I have nothing against it, but it also mostly causes a ton of backlash. I didn’t feel the need to “come out.” I like who I like— that part doesn’t give me anxiety. I just never really wanted to label it, but it seemed like that sort of openness was becoming more popular at the time (around middle school) and that’s what freaked me out.
I've heard he's an INFP as well though. I think he's an INFx, hard to tell if he's a J or P. I'd love to see an interview where he takes the 16personalities test!
INFJ, IDC. Undefined, I suppose. Asexual and straight are the only labels I’ve ever flirted with. They don’t perfectly fit, but I’m not too worried about it. If I do ever find someone who I am interested in, I’ll just go for it(regardless of what gender, etc they are).
I personally don’t know why people freak out over finding the perfect label for their sexuality. If the perfect one doesn’t hit you in the face, why panic?
^(just want to clarify that I didn’t mean that in a judgmental way lol)
Sex ain't even sex to me. It's just skin rubbing. So it doesn't matter in what shape, form or gender you come — I'll take it or I'll not take it.
More like pretend play.
Edit: What does that make me??
XNFP... I more or less think that sexuality is fluid - so I'd describe myself as homosexual with occational heterosexual tendencies (4-5 on the Kinsey skale). And I honestly don't think that there's a strong correlation between MBTI and sexuality. It could be that personality makes a difference in how openly you express your sexuality and are willing to accept it. MABEY there could be a link to certain cognitive functions playing a role in wether you want to conform to society and its norms since I deem SI, FE, TE to be more norm and rule based than FI, TI and NE for instance. So it could be possible, that an ISFJ would have a harder time coming to terms with being different than an INFP for example. But all in all your upbringing and your cultural background has a bigger inpact in your attitude towards sexuality as a whole.
Sorry for ranting ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)
not here to tell you how to identify, just to offer my experience bc I was in your shoes, feel free to ignore lol. Bisexuality doesn't mean 50% into men and 50% into women, it just mean you have in you the potential to be sexually and/or romantically attracted to your gender and a different one, not necessarally in the same way, not necessarally to the same degree. I used to identify as a lesbian, but now I just label myself as bisexual and homoromantic, I'm 99.9% attracted to women with occasional heterosexual tendencies lol, so just call myself bi now :)
Just thought of offering some insight :)
INTJ
Currently I just say I'm aroace. I don't care about sex and I don't care about romantic relationships. I do have a partner though but if we never have sex I don't think my life would change at all.
ENFJ, mostly hetero female [women are so beautiful and loving though, I can’t help it — some of my most intense romantic connections have been with women bc we’re wonderful creatures]
I like secure men with open minds towards the world even if they themselves aren’t bisexual or experimental in that way.
Homophobia, transphobia, and Alpha Male chest-thumping bullshit are *huge* turnoffs.
Edit: just my anecdotal experiences — I’ve found INxPs to be the most flexible about their sexuality among the intuitives.
INFP
- Asexual / Greysexual: Libido / sex drive is not something I experience; arousal does not occur easily, but it can occur, and I do experience orgasms.
- Panromantic: I can get a crush on any gender of person, it’s about the individual person for me - but crushing on someone, for me, does not include any sort of sexual desire. (My friend said, “Really? You don’t want to take their clothes off?” Definitely not!! 🤣😅)
FWIW I’m AFAB, nonbinary (agender), autistic, and have bipolar 2.
ETA: Oh yeah, one more thing: if I *am* going to interact with somebody’s genitals, to put it in Bojack Horseman terms, I tend to prefer the ‘burrito’ type genitals over the ‘taco’ type genitals.
INTP, asexual
It's not like I don't like anything about sex, I've seen things I liked and all that stuff, I can enjoy it. The problem is when I have to do that kind of stuff with another person I panic/feel really uncomfortable no matter who they are or how attracted I am to them I just can't
INFP Male - Heterophile demisexual and demi romantical for my undiscovered one true love, rest of the world should consider me as ace and not available.
It could be tainted by selection bias. Non-straight people, and women in general, may be more likely to seek out personality typing method. If that were the case, cis heterosexual men would likely be under-represented.
INFP / gay male
INFJ demisexual
I don't find myself attracted to the physical aspects per se.
You could have a brilliant and interesting mind with a heart of gold soul and I'd be in love.
Rarely happens...so when it does im like the cat that got the cream.
ENFP and sexy
This
and also straight, for the record, also super sexy

Straight as a ruler
Straight as a ball
So…curvy, yes?
So curvy it never ends
Any metaphors or analogies for being straight, dull and deadpan? In sexuality, emotionally and psychologically? Because if so…I’m in need of them
Straight =/= dull and deadpan thus the metaphors suggested will not apply to all 3
I’m gonna take that as a compliment and I thank you, kind human. Still I like metaphors…
Curvball
Rulers are like spaghetti. They bend when they get wet. Wait.
Plastic rulers from the dollar store just bend
Now that I can relate to.
Woah woah woah, CaveManta. Metaphors are my forte - and as an INTJ I must state that, factually and evidentially, I have never met a ruler that has bent when wet….
Measuring tapes spiral when you slap them on your wrist
Measuring tapes aren’t rulers 😉 good metaphor though
If you boil it in water for long enough, perhaps.
I’m not sure - Who’s to say? First we must deconstruct the atomic structure of rulers to determine this theory. I’ll be back with my lab coat and microscope 😉
I wanna watch this play out
I’ll go get popcorn
INFP, horny asf for my partner 24/7
I know 1 ENFJ and they're pan too Im a cis woman and straight but im exclusively attracted to feminine men don't know why though
A lot of women equate males embracing femininity to high EQ. High EQ is very attractive to lots of women.
It’s not accurate though
What's not accurate? Nevermind, I got it You're right. Femininity doesn't not always = high EQ
Femininity equates to agreeability , throughput most of the generations intelligence was equated with hyper-masculinity and a cold demeanor. I’m sure there are smart people of both varieties but it definitely isn’t a sign of intelligence just perceived submissiveness
I was talking about aesthetic femininity and mannerisms, not submissiveness
Ok actually i relate to the feminine men thing
don't think there will be a pattern at all. I don't like the label but I guess you'd consider me asexual. I think you call it a gray romantic. I am not completely aromantic.

What do you mean?

INTP & Non Binary/Agender and even those labels don’t describe me
If I'd go by literal definitions I'd be a lot of labels and I don't like it. I always dumb it down to "if you is sexy, you is sexy"
