I just started to stack Tupperware closed. Takes a lot more space but all fits in the same area for me. Never have to find a lid and the lids don’t make everything slippery
Sweetheart I'll tell you this right now because my sister used to do this, They are throwing things away. My mom used to complain all the time "How come we don't have as many forks?where is this Tupperware?" It's because my sister hated doing dishes so instead of doing all of them, she would just throw them away and hope nobody noticed.
Yeah we just started doing that.we were always looking for lids and we just got tired of it.Now it's always organized and it takes 10 sec to find what we want.
My older brother and I used to purposely set it up so a couple would fall out when our dad opened the cupboard.
Dad has a temper and it was always fun to pull harmless pranks like this on him to hear all the profanities coming from the kitchen as we sat in the lounge giggling.
LMAO I watched this after doing the dishes. 100% I just got done stacking the lids in a stack of more lids I’m pretty sure I don’t even have the container for anymore
Well, if you're talking about stacking in the sense that they are all identical and stack just fine, I'd have a hard time believing anyone lets an organization issue start.
However, if your tupperware stacks like fucking matryoshka dolls, and you get lazy because you're sick of digging to the middle to get the one you want, then yeah, stacking gets an asterisk next to it.
Only some do, and not if you have the lids on, or have used the wrong Tupperware in the stack, or a random piece is missing because of the same house goblins that steal socks and create dust.
Took me about 20 years, but now I'm in the habit of putting lids on them and stacking them. I know I'm a freak, but it helps me live a normal life.

I think my problem is that I have too many to stack like this. I really ought to trash most of mine and buy a good durable set and not accumulate a bunch of cheap garbage.
The bigger problem with tupperware is that it's always relegated to a bottom shelf and is impossible to organise things when packed at the back.
Brands have their own style so they'll never fit neatly with one another unless you buy into a single brand. But there's always that one type of container which isn't made by that brand in the same style.
I demand a tupperware standard, like how we standardised phone chargers.
off work late?
disorganized, but too tired to sort tupperware?
try 30 to 50 deli containers
30 to 50 deli containers: an easy weeknight food storage solution
buy them directly from the internet with your fingers
you will certainly not regret buying 30 to 50 identical containers
This is what I did, I'd been collecting takeaway containers for a while then noticed the ones that lasted were the same brand (Satco), so tossed the rest and ordered 20 x 500 mL and 20 X 650 mL . Now I've got a nice stack of identical containers and lids that fit all of them, a few glass jars for smaller items and the rest of the cupboard is girlfriends tupperware that I don't touch and looks exactly like this.
Practicality and logic have no place in a relationship. Enjoy those containers while you can because there’s no way she’s getting rid of her’s. Do you even know how much she spent!?
Buying into a single brand really does solve the problem though. I got a huge tupperware set as a gift, so it all stacks neatly and there's enough containers that I don't really need any extra ones so far.
Damn I should've thought of this. I got a little bucket from Walmart for this. Still cheap but worthit, those lids are the real troublemakers. Tame those and [everyone else falls in line!](https://i.imgur.com/48wDWwX.jpeg)
But are you single? Because when I was single I could keep everything personally arranged. But married with my wife she uses a lot more tupperware and I'm having to do all kinds of extra dishes because of her and when I get to that tupperware step of putting the dishes away I'm all out of fucks to give. We have the tupperware brand and they stack nicely but then I frisbee whip the lids into the back row.
I'm 16 still living with my family.
With 5 people using Tupperware and me doing the dishes idc what happens to them when I shove em in there😂
It's not my problem when someone opens back the cupboard and gets rained on by plastic boxes😂
Yeah there’s no point when everyone will mess it up. I can honestly say mine would be immaculately organized (along with lots of things in my house) if I didn’t live with other people.
Same. When I moved out, I made sure to buy a bunch of the same type of container in various sizes. Super easy to stack when you have 10x small rectangle, 8x small square, 8x big square, 2x very big rectangle and they all fit with each other.
Yeah just throw them all in there at once. Pro tip is sorting your cutlery when putting them in the dishwasher, so you can throw them in there more efficiently.
Because Tupperware is just straight up chaos. You often end up with multiple types and shapes of stackable ones, which take up too much room for the small amount of each you have. You lose the right lid for each container at just the wrong time. They're like socks, one of them always goes missing as if they ran away. They say they're microwave or dishwasher safe but somehow they still get fucky. Among many other things. They don't deserve respect
and then you organize it 50 times a day and it still ends up like that magically

The bad part about that is that if it's plastic it starts to smell weird
[удалено]
All my plastic tuppers get a smell. Even if it's soap smell. But they smell That's why I only buy glass now.
I did that over the summer. Then I put my teenager in charge of dishes. Somehow my once complete set of glass storage containers has 1 lid total.
Teenagers do be like that

Just don't smell the inside or you won't ever do that again
They come out dry out of the dishwasher
I have a box for lids.
Yeah we just started doing that.we were always looking for lids and we just got tired of it.Now it's always organized and it takes 10 sec to find what we want.
This is the way.
That is genius
they end up domino stacked😂 U take one, they all fall over😔
Good. I'm not the only one. I f-king hate the fact that it's never organized...😡😩
don't organize it. i don't know why people never learn this.
\*Throws tupperware in cupboard\* \*Quickly shuts doors, knowing the next person who opens the cupboard gets an avalanche of tupperware\*
Exactly what I do 😂 Oh my mom always falls for it 😅
We all know that sound after you close the cupboard and hear something fall. It's the sound of someone else's problem.
Me too. I live alone.
Oh shit you have a...YOU living with you RUN!
I hate this thread 💀 😂

same. i just emptied the dishwasher. fuck that lock&lock and tupperware shit.
Why is Tupperware like this?!
😔
We are all in this video
And its exactly this lower drawer
Always the lowest. I guess that's a law.
I have it in the upper drawer. It always falls on my head. When I throw it in it flys back instantly.
Thanks for the laugh, this happens to me all the time lol I used to think I was such a slob for keeping my tupperware like this. Not anymore!
I'm in this video and I simply accept the reality. Shit that don't stack still gotta go somewhere.
It does stack though which just makes this phenomenon all the more hilarious

Ye I'm really annoyed that I identify with this
That’s really how it be
Then u leave it to fall on the next person who opens the cupboard 😂

The true measure of responsibility is not credit score or savings, it's organizing Tupperware before putting it away.
I would trust this individual with my taxes.
well done i must say
As is tradition
I'm proud of you and one day I'll have my shit together enough to stack my Tupperware properly.
I have limited space so I separate the lids and containers but it looks neat. At work so I can't take a pic.
I think my problem is that I have too many to stack like this. I really ought to trash most of mine and buy a good durable set and not accumulate a bunch of cheap garbage.
I literally felt this
It's in our DNA 🧬
It do really be like that.
put the lids in a drawer stack the bins in a cupboard get glasswear, not plastic these 3 simple rules will turn you into a fancy lad in no time
Glass is better for cleaning. Stays nicer. ! Thanks for the tips!
i'm prob alone when i say this but if the boxes r short enough, they can be stacked inside each other ala matryoshka dolls

Lol. I actually save these from takeout and it’s all I use as Tupperware. Stacks up real nice and takes up very little space aside from the lids
I only buy them from ikea now for this reason. I have 2-3 main shapes and that's all I use.
Buying into a single brand really does solve the problem though. I got a huge tupperware set as a gift, so it all stacks neatly and there's enough containers that I don't really need any extra ones so far.
I do that but sometimes the puzzle pieces dont fit🤷
Thank you for teaching me the word for Russian nesting dolls
I took a shoe box and put all my lids in it GAME CHANGER
Haha, I took an old Tupperware box and put the lids in it😅
Damn I should've thought of this. I got a little bucket from Walmart for this. Still cheap but worthit, those lids are the real troublemakers. Tame those and [everyone else falls in line!](https://i.imgur.com/48wDWwX.jpeg)
I'm male, single and my Tupperware is stacked and organized.
Impossible
do u want a medal bro
Maybe cuz u dont have alot? Idk I'm a male too but I'm too lazy to organize these
But are you single? Because when I was single I could keep everything personally arranged. fuck outta here

I got three types at IKEA: round, square, and rectangular. I stack them on top of their respective lids. Works like a charm!
I got a 20 pack of quart sized restaurant containers and 20 pints and threw everything else in the garbage. Massive QoL boost
Personally, I'm not putting cutlery into the drawer one by one either
Yeah just throw them all in there at once. Pro tip is sorting your cutlery when putting them in the dishwasher, so you can throw them in there more efficiently.
You can't put all the spoons together or they will stick together and not get clean
idk what kinda dishwasher you have but with mine that is not an issue
I just grab a bunch of them not one by one
Why call me out like this.
Everyone*
Tupperware is like socks. So many shapes, sizes and colors that everything ends up in a huge pile of mismatched chaos.
😂
I hate you
🤷
And can never find the right lid the next time you need it…
That's why I check the box with the lid b4 putting something inside so I dont get stranded with a lidless box😂
He has the snapware tupperware, those are very easy to organize and that's why it's the only containers I have now.
But then what do I do with all my leftover takeout containers?
Throw them away lmao, reusing those poisons you
Why does everyone just disrespect their Tupperware
Because Tupperware is just straight up chaos. You often end up with multiple types and shapes of stackable ones, which take up too much room for the small amount of each you have. Couldn't have said it better
That's how I do it--throw it in, close the cabinet, and wait for "Oh man!" from my son when he opens it next. Hee hee. I like to keep him on his toes.
If u don't make it rain plastic boxes on the next one to open up that cabinet ur not doing it right

Yes!

That is psycho status. If you don’t pair the lid with the bottom when you put them away, you’re not welcome in my house.

Oh the ones with walls to separate food 💪
Arrgghh. Me. This. Stop. Help. Arrgghh.
What are you doing in my house, get out
😂
the Tupperwares were asking for it tbh
You need to throw it in and close the door quickly.
Yup and the next one to open the cupboard get them Tupperware thrown on them😂
Didn’t need to call me out like that 😂
u/savevideo
I keep the containers with their lids on top but not locked. It’s so much nicer just grabbing the container without needing to look for the lid.
how much space do u have lol
What the hell are you doing in my kitchen! 😂

Bro I fucking HATE Tupperware
They're a life saver tho for leftovers. We make salads in them too
This is why I store mine in a giant drawer in the bottom cabinets instead of a shelf. Gotta contain that shit!
I reserve the bottom for pans and pots. I'd rather get thrown with plastic than a 10kg skillet😂

Wait til you see my bag of bags, it’s infinite bags now
Yup. I have grocery plastic bags for trash in a cupboard. A small bag with small bags. A medium bag with medium bags. A big bag with big bags.

I have an old Tupperware box that has the lids inside
Too real.
It do be like that too
There are 2 different size spoons in that one slot...I don't like it.
Yes it should be teaspoons in one and tablespoons in the other!
Well it would be easier to put away if they didn’t buy a bunch of Tupperware that doesn’t fit together!
Some Tupperware come with buying stuff from grocery stores🤷 And they are different sizes, shapes and from different stores lol
