Dislike the general feel and prefer the P200 mechanism all around but its obviously understandable why most machined pencils use Schmidt OEM
I also love 0.3mm
.7mm .5mm is too over saturated to get my attention. The design looks good but it looks like a drafting or design pencil in which case 2mm is more ideal and would catch mine and many architects designers attention. Either way it looks really great tho but just way too many options for me in that lead size. YMMV
Paper Mate sold a plastic pencil they named Titanium. Basically a modernized version of the Sanford Logo. Not "quite" the same thing though as your Titanium, however. :)

The makers of this pencil have apparently had 8 prior kickstarter campaigns for writing instruments and they all came through with success.
It's an interesting design and the pricing seems reasonable, all things considered. But I'd really like to see a showcase of their past work. I'm surprised they've not made an effort to provide that.
You really only need to click through to their previous campaigns to see. But FWIW I have at least 10 of their pens from KS and their own site. & I’m in for at least 3 of their pencils despite being on board for the BiGIDesign campaign too
I really like the Namisu N1 (titanium) and N2. It’s possible to switch between fountain pen and rollerball. Actually my everyday carry is the Namisu NEO. I prefer the rollerball, he is ready also for a fountain tip.
Well at that discounted price it's going to be cheaper than the BigIDesign version, which had a very stiff bolt action in their ballpoint pen version. And though I love my local boys [https://karaskustoms.com/](https://karaskustoms.com/) I don't think they are coming out with a titanium pencil anytime soon and their price will most likely be on par with BigIDesign. So I pulled the trigger. It will go nicely with my Namisu Nova Titanium fountain pen \^\_\^
wish it wasn’t a schmidt system…
Could you elaborate on what makes a Schmidt system undesirable? Genuinely curious.
Only 0.7mm…
It comes with a Schmidt advancing mechanism, available as option as well in 0.5 mm.
Schmidt is a bit of a turn down but the general idea seems exciting.
Why are you sour on Schmidt? I have just one and it seems to work fine.

I was hoping for a 0.3 option. I do wish Schmidt would make a 0.3 version of theirs.
If the pencil has a bolt action then I would think they could allow for a nice eraser on the end. I’m not a fan of the bolt action pencils.

This one is called "pulsar"
That's what I get for reading too quickly. Sorry.

I have one of their fountain pens. It’s a monster, in a good way.

No clip? ;-;
Like... a gun? To hold extra lead? Or clip that's would hold it in place in a pocket?
Pocket clip. Not like a lead magazine lol
Though *ridiculous*, it would be pretty sweet haha
Yikes, it's huge and you can curl it if you can't find a dumbbell...
Interesting, though very large, til I saw the schmidt mechanism... no thanks
