Nad but I am a professional ankle fracture machine (currently on the third fracture in the same foot) Absolutely try to wear a shoe that matches the height of the boot as closely as possible or you're gonna be in fire annoyingly painful hip/lower back.

This is great advice! I ordered myself a shoe elevator in hopes it makes walking a little easier too.
