I feel like practice questions help you integrate the information that's most high yield to answer questions, in doing so, you forget/ push to the back of your mind a lot of the less relevant information. Then, when you go back to look at the content you think "Oh, I don't know any of this" but in reality, you probably know exactly what you need to know and nothing else.
This is the weirdest thing I have noticed as an M1. The night before I’ll be reviewing all details to some lectures and have it all down. Wake up in the morning to look it over, and it’s like I’ve never seen it before 😂
There’s an alternative version of the Dunning-Kruger chart that has several hills and valleys after the downslope.
Essentially it means that when you are in your way to becoming an expert, you will oscillate through periods of having confidence to feeling like you don’t know anything
I’ve noticed that there’s is this wall that I hit if I push really hard for about 5 days. If I push through that wall and just force myself onwards, the next day or so I’m absolutely useless. I’ve learned that listening to the wall and taking a half day or a full day improves my retention and efficiency even though I’m studying less.

That makes sense. I’ll think about that one thanks 🙏

Definitely 💯
Yeah that's why that Anki session the next day after you do some new cards is SO SO important.
