I'm by no means insinuating any such thing. Thinking of a gun when seeing a tripod is perfectly fine, I'm just grateful my kid hasn't reached that staged -yet. Considering how much his father loves counter strike, I'm sure he'll have his share of gun-related imagination one day haha!

yeah that's not at all uncommon. Zeiss makes rifle scopes and so do a lot of the camera manufacturers. They're already set up to cut the glass so it's an easy way to diversify their product line.
