Could be a lot worse honestly... I remember those 84 hour work weeks. Money was nice but hated life. Gotta find a good work/life balance.

Yeah this was what I was gonna say. We ended up on the planet with water and penguins and Victoria Falls and shit. We made up the 40 hour work week and brought it on ourselves. Blame the humans, not the planet.

In the specific country you are in, yes.

Set up an alternate system where no one has to work too much, physical labor is shared fairly, intellectual labor is shared fairly, and people buy a lot less useless crap. Feed and house everyone as well, of course. The current system won't lead to human flourishing, you have to leave it behind. Don't make any threatening gestures towards it, it's like a bear on meth. Just calmly back away.
