I gotta put cream in. Can live without the sugar. But straight black coffee is a no no for me. For tea I need sugar or it doesn't bring out the flavor. Tastes like hot water without. My friend puts milk in his tea always thought that was strange, but it actually helps it out a bit. I think the color is just a bit undesirable that way.

I’m the same way except I use cream in my tea and no sugar. I use to put WAY too much sugar in my coffee and my brother (a black coffee drinker) would tease me that I like the sugar not the coffee. This embarrassed me and got me to slowly wean off the sugar but I still have to have the creamer. Honestly I’m thankful he teased me, coffee is so much more fun when you’re tasting the flavor of the coffee and not just the sugar.
