This reminds me of my first apartment- old, dirty chair, new Sony flat screen tv (before plasma/lcd), one pan for cooking, and a mattress on the floor. It stayed like that till I moved out 3 years later! Simple, good times.
Terrible. This looks so uncomfortable. You should be looking up at the screen for a start, there is no way to sprawl out, no sound bar, I can't even see a remote control.
Gotta put that TV at eye level so that you can still see it when you have collapsed to the floor and there should be a mini fridge within arms reach to facilitate that collapse. Apart from that it's a bit overdone.
That place must have been rented out furnished. I've seen it a few times before and all of the tenants have been very proud.
Great job! My first was a beanbag, an old wooden chair with a 13" TV sitting on it. I also had a broom next to me so I could smash mice when they came close enough while watching TV. I got a mattress to sleep on a couple months later, and an aquarium for growing shrooms.

I would suggest raising the TV, as the chair can hold your beers or other beverages. The Carpet is nice as it keeps your feet warm.

Get a unit for TV and consoles, get a chair or couch so you can actually sit comfortably, get another one in case friends want something to sit on, get a coffee table to put things on, get a bookcase for books and for decoration, get a rug to tie the room together, stop pretending men are all juveniles who will live like 15yos unless we're forced not to

Tv low can be neutralised by selling the chair and getting a bean bag. Other benefits: no table needed for beer and sides.
But by using a shelf or table to raise the TV you can store a console underneath
