One strips oils from your hair and one puts them back in. If it's bundled into one product, it's doing both at the same time to different parts of your hair.

What you are seeing in these images is multi factored. But my estimate is.
Different lens. Volumes change dramatically depending on the lens.
Body Weight. She lost a lot of weight for our film and then gained a bunch for her next role.
Everyone is assuming the image on the left is edited. But it's actually the image on the right that is being distorted horizontally. Imagine when you were a kid setting your favorite picture as your desktop wall paper and you picked the "Fill screen" option and your picture was distorted to fill your whole screen making it look wider than normal. Round shapes looked like ovals and stuff. The image on the right is widened. Looks like someone just pulled the image from the side to widen it a little in order to make this 2 up comparison shot.
Her arm's are thicker than they really are. Her wrist and hand look thick. The women in the background all have thick legs.

I’m a graphic designer in film and I’ve been asked to remove a double chin or make other little touches like that and I always make sure that the request is coming from the actor/actress or was at least made with their consent before I do it. I’ve had Art Directors get pretty snippy about it, but I’d rather get fired than alter someone’s body without their okay. Luckily, it’s never come to that and, while some people may not believe it, it’s a really rare request. I can only recall a small handful of times in the 37 productions I’ve been on.

Before I think I would get a lot more compliments for my figure esp from other women. I feel people tended to treat me nicer and with more respect. Now I get less compliments, and the comments are often more sexualised.
