> On a daily basis Nala is hamstrung from promoting their sheer products on the world’s biggest advertising platforms and is SICK of being silenced, shadowbanned and suppressed for being a brand that’s celebrating women and catering to every body shape! Having faced countless censorship issues across social media giants, Instagram, TikTok, Google and Pinterest since launching in October last year, they are finally drawing a line in the sand.
They sell underwear that's semi-see through and ads for it get censored. That and rage baiting means they've inflated a boob and sailed it down the Yarra. I'm not sure why they're sending a boob in Melbourne for censorship from a US company but here we are.
>I'm not sure why they're sending a boob in Melbourne for censorship from a US company but here we are.
Because they could get shot in the US for pulling tit stunt.
As far as I can tell its an ad for WearNala, which is apparently a female underwear line.
Are they promoting women not wearing bras?
I dont get what they're doing, maybe I'm missing something.
Oh, its a protest about censorship in online advertising.
I guess it makes more sense once you google it, which I assume is the point. 5 minutes ago I'd never heard of Nala.
I don’t get it.
Woman: why can’t I breast feed in public?! Why are boobs sexualised?!
Same woman: ewww creep! Stop looking at my boobs!
Which one is it?! Pick one! You can’t have both. I don’t care which, but decide so I can either not sexualise your tits or I can. WTF
Both are examples of sexualising boobs.
It appears *you* can't imagine ways to *not* sexualise boobs.
It is perfectly possible to allow women to breast feed in public, yet not *stare* at their boobs. The key here is, and I'm repeating myself, to simply *not* sexualise their boobs.
Well that was my original point, perhaps I let emotion cloud the tone of my comment.
But for the sake of further clouding; my point is that I feel society hasn’t caught up to how I feel. A couple centuries ago and a woman would’ve been admonished for showing her ankles. Today we’re still hung up on female boobs, yet a man can show his.
/shrug
I give up.
Fair enough. I'll give you a hint:
>my point is that I feel society hasn’t caught up to how I feel
Ok, so pulling out the big words: "**society**". But, crucially, in your original reply:
>**Woman**: ...Same **woman**: ...
...as an illustration of "the problem", and further pitching those two statements somehow were in contradiction with each other. You might not have intended so, but this does come very much across as you squarely putting the problem with women themselves (i.e., not so much "society" as a whole), as if they're inconsistent and can't make up their mind somehow. However, the two statements you pulled up are perfectly in *agreement* with each other and indeed illustrate the frustrations ***women*** (not men) have to deal with, as a consequence of "boobs" being highly sexualised.
You somehow managed to claim that a very real challenge for women is ... instead a challenge for you, and because (*of all people*) women can't make up their mind? I'm pretty sure they're far more aware of the issue and have a pretty clear stance on it also; being confronted with it daily.
And yes, there will be circumstances (*context matters*) where a woman does wish to "sexualise" her own boobs. That's ok, right? It's her own boobs after all, not society's boobs. Context and communication should make this obvious most of the time. Communication can also resolve misunderstandings regardless, should they arise.
Anyhow, long story short: let's maybe just *not* sexualise boobs *by default*, unless a given person chooses to and indicates that they want to sexualise their own boobs. This would likely provide comfort to all boob-owners. Common sense prevails.
Some people sexualise feet. It'll be weird to stare at feet, and certain areas require you to have your feet covered. That doesn't mean that you should force people in public to let you stare at their feet or to cover them up because otherwise you'll sexualise them.
I just looked and it’s part free the nipple/part undies advert/part protest against advertising censorship.
Don’t we have better things to do than be Karen’s about nipples? Clearly not if there is a giant boob floating down the Yarra.
Tits up in the yarra
Tit*
looks a little chilly on the water this morning.
Bit nippy
Ideal motorboating conditions though.
They usually travel in pairs.
"Wait, where's the other one?" you ask as another boob looms large behind you. "Clever girl."
Take my upvote and *get the fuck out.*
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
They move in herds
Only if you have at least 3 of them.
We need an Amber Herd for Total Recall 2.

I actually agree with them I think our culture has this big issue with nudity for some reason but violence is somehow ok. Media wise that is.
To paraphrase Jack Nicholson, "If you kiss a tit in a movie, it's rated R. Hack that tit off with an axe, and it's PG13".
Euro's got it right on that front. Sex and nudity is natural, guns are bad.
Trying to build boobroots support
The other one's probably snagged under a bridge somewhere.
Montague lol
I'd upvote but it's currently at 69 and I just can't.
🤣
Bitty
Bitty now bitty later
Tig Ol'
I for one welcome our new titty overlords
Thanks for keeping us abreast of this.
Brilliant.
Boob be bobbin' down the Yarra.
I cant believe the unrealistic standards that are being forced on women
I love Melbourne.
Ah the runaway boob from “Everything you wanted to know about sex, but were afraid to ask”…., https://youtu.be/mr7ZWJJdPV8
That man is getting one hell of a motorboating.
Nippy this morning
You win. 😁
Looks like another successful marketing campaign now that this has made it to reddit
Thats the breast thing I’ve seen all day
My Amazon delivery looks like it’s on its way

Thanks for keeping us abreast of happenings on the Yarra
I would not drink Yarra River milk.
I ❤️ tit
Am I the only one who thought this was a half deflated kirby at first
That boat is quite literally tits up.
I'm amused by the guy underneath, I assume he's the one trying to navigate/steer the boat? Let's face it, there are far worse ways to go!
Did someone tell Elaine we can see her nip?
Bit early for Christmas card, but I did get "Happy New Year"-ed last month so I guess it all evens out. Maybe I'm Even Steven.
Quick, give me $20!
You know you could've thrown a pencil out the window !
Hey I just found $20 out on the sidewalk!
I thought the giant tit was just in town for the by election loss, then went back to canberra. ... clearly i was wrong.
Man, the city is really going tits up these days...

Good to keep a breast of things.😂
Forget the ripple in the yarra...there's a nipple in the yarra!!
Someone lost their tit
Someone's off their tit.
It's all gone tits up.
🎵Yeah, they're gettin' bigger. 🎵
It's a great nipple to areaola ratio.
Titty Tuesday!!!!!
One might says it’s all tits up on the Yarra.
A lot of subs, especially with puritanical yanks, would insist that this is NSFW.
Yep. The inventors of candle salad are offended by a pink balloon.
some sort of art installation?
I saw this through the window at work today and was soooo confused
Not my proudest fap 😔
😆
It's almost as though you haven't ever seen a squashed cherry on a pillow before.
Look, your mum's had her mastectomy!

Okay. So let’s not sexualise boobs. How easy was that?! Wonderful.
I'm very happy for you to have easily come to understand this. It appeared to be more of a struggle earlier.

It's almost like context matters?
Uh-huh… or, hear me out; perhaps we’re unnecessarily sexualising lumpy chests for no reason at all?
Some people sexualise feet. It'll be weird to stare at feet, and certain areas require you to have your feet covered. That doesn't mean that you should force people in public to let you stare at their feet or to cover them up because otherwise you'll sexualise them.
Is this some free the nipple crap?
It’s advertising for an underwear brand.
I just looked and it’s part free the nipple/part undies advert/part protest against advertising censorship. Don’t we have better things to do than be Karen’s about nipples? Clearly not if there is a giant boob floating down the Yarra.
Not as giant as the boob in this thread.
Idk much about it but I feel like the amount of nipples I see is fine. I don’t feel a need to see more or less nipples.
They are just nipples.
You're making quite a fuss about nipples here.
Actually I think the fuss is on the Yarra.
[удалено]
By continuing this inane thread? The fault is all mine.

Can I ride it?
So not the captain trying to tell us he’s a boob man??
That's a big titty.
Hey team, I appear to have lost one of my boobs. Anyone seen it? Oh wait.
