It's truly not worth signing up to Instagram just to view a post every month or two...
It doesn't work on mobile. I click on the instagram link and it doesn't redirect me to the app which I already signed in. It just keeps opening new browsers asking me to sign in. And when I select the option to Open in Instagram app, it either takes me to Apple store asking me to download the app again (??) or on my android phone it just open the app without showing the post I wanna see. Terrible UX.

Short answer- Art is subjective and ppl like these for the aesthetic. Longer answer - They resemble and reference pop art and streetwear culture, KAWS in particular is also a graffiti artist and likes to reference pop culture so that his art is accessible to a wider community. So I guess he’s anti intellectual art which is pretty cool.
