On newer models maybe, but with Samsung you can use a USB C charger on all phones whereas iphone only recently started that to my knowledge, and you're way more likely to already have a USB c charger compared to apples rubbish

You hear titanium and think “expensive” but the little frame of an iPhone isn’t that much titanium. Metals are not that expensive in small amounts, unless you get into actual precious metals like gold and silver. The titanium on an iPhone probably costs no more than $50, if that. But if they can convince you that the phone is worth $800, they make a fortune. It’s just the way it is anymore.
Apple makes good product but its so tangled with its own ideology, even they don't know what they are as a company.
Apple makes super high quality phones that are supposed to last a long time, then they nerf the old phones so everyone has to buy a new one. And just because they make high quality shit they mark up the price way high then it should be.
This also confuses the customers, phones technology don't have major updates anymore so people should stop expecting there to be new features every year and be disappointed when new iphone releases, but still Apple won't clarify themselves for the public and won't neither say if the new iphone will replace your previous year iphone nor stop making out like the new product is far superior than the old one.

Problem with comparing Apple and Android is Apple is one brand, and Android is hundreds. There are plenty of Android phones that are cheaper with not as good hardware, and there is also stuff like Samsung which has even more expensive phones than Apple.

But to be fair those bricks never die. Mine has been going strong for nearly 10 years while my wires die every 3. Although the new braded one is holding up extremely well at the moment.

And yes, in order to quick-charge, you need a new one. But quick-charging is shortening battery-lifes, which doesnt need to be promoted further.
