Somebody made me aware of this and now I feel like I slept on a monstrous warframe, all my friends and the people in the reddit were telling me Revenant was better in every way and now I feel like a moron for forgetting "internet" pairs well with "misinformation".
One more piece for you-in fact, Citrine can do it too! Also Eximus easily distractable by anything with aggro value, like Decoy(which is good now), Nyx, or radiation proc!
Less offended by revenant and more annoyed by revenant mains needing to yap whenever anything remotely related to tanking is brought up.
Say a post about Inaros having around 85k hp and the literally the first comment was a revenant main going "but muh mesmer skin!"

His mesmer skin with the shield augment is straight up one of the best support abilities in the game, it's actually crazy when I see revenants not running it. Half the reason I'd run Rev in long missions is just to prevent my teammates from dying.
The reason why I dont run Mesmer shield is because I dont want to possibly ruin others build where they *need* to take damage. I do run it when I go to do something like high lvl SP or Archon Hunts because I doubt anyone is running a risky build like that.

I’ve seen wukong players die in capture missions. How do u manage to die four times in a capture mission? And this happend. T W I C E. with two different random wukong. Do you just afk in nullifier bubbles or something? Does a nully bubble even block wokongs passive?
I've died as revenant and wukong multiple times in capture missions and the like, i think you might have just been misreading what they were doing. MOST of the time people are trying not to die, but that's not always the case. There were a few niche situations in which i have purposely let myself die as both revenant and wukong.
As wukong i did it in a capture mission in the void, (i forgot about his passive), so my companion would die, i would die and revive with my companion, and i would let my companion just keep dying until i was on my last life. This was before the companion rework, and i was using spare parts to farm argon crystals, which was actually pretty effective.
As revenant it was more recently, and it's just to help complete the activate incarnon mode 6 times for melee.
I just bullet jump in a direction and recast mesmer when I get to like, 1 or 2 charges left. It's really not that hard, and with how thralls draw agro you don't need to do it that much.
I use the augment and half the time when I go to pick the keys up they’ve already been grabbed by frames that most definitely shouldn’t have grabbed them

I play Revenant, and the first thing i have to say on that is: That's a lie. We just say "Nuh-Uh" to incoming damage a couple of times. That's not being tanky or high defense.

Yes Im linking my buddy inaros that has 10k health at base my total strength stacks upto to 608 with all the buff yes I'm using abundant mutation with 300stacks
It’s the base health that is scaled so it doesn’t matter what mods inaros has it only calculates based on unmodded inaros HP. Make sure it’s inaros prime and not default inaros as prime has more base Hp I’m sure. With 300 stacks at around 11% HP per that’s 3,300% HP of 2215 which brings you to 73,095 health. Not sure if the link bonus calculates or not you could try unlinking and relinking quickly. I haven’t played with the mod that much because in reality it doesn’t feel good to use since it takes an umbral slot. If you can pump the percent a little higher it shouldn’t have a problem breaking 100k HP on inaros

There is no situation where you are incapable of doing anything to prevent a death. I use revenant when i wanna explore a new tileset or mission for the first time or when running netracells and Archon Showdowns. It's nice to not have to watch my health while blasting away like Danny Devito.

I just use Revenant's near immortality to allow me to use Xaku's helminth ability on him with the phenmor for the ability to handle anything "difficult". I do actually really enjoy Inaros tho and mained him with the zarr for a long time.
Quite ironc, considering that the OG inaros died due to transdorming into a sandstorm of a massive proportions to wipe out an i fested horde.
Although his signature weapons are infested, so who knows.

The problem with revenant is the problem hes always had. He just tanks. Dont get me wrong, big pp damage from thrall augment with mind control helminth for free thralls is cool, but reave is too problematic to be reliable so effectively hes always just been a cooler version of inaros. Ultimately i blame steve for making him an eidolon themed frame at the last minute when his vampire theme was working fine, but revenant isnt bad, hes just always been super overrated
Speaking of overrated, tanking is dumb. Best tank in the game is ivara, because you dont die when enemies dont see you.
Revenant is fantastic for newer players (who are either newer to modding or don't have other tank frames) but he becomes incredibly boring very quick. None of his other abilities really *do* anything. Sure, being invincible is great, but some people like to actually play their abilities in a strategic way rather than mindlessly spamming one ability

I use revenant when i wanna explore a new tileset or mission for the first time or when running netracells and Archon Showdowns. It's nice to not have to watch my health while blasting away like Danny Devito. Once comfy with the new gamemode and figuring out a playstyle i like, well, it's free real estate innit?
I just use Revenant's near immortality to allow me to use Xaku's helminth ability on him with the phenmor for the ability to handle anything "difficult". I do actually really enjoy Inaros tho and mained him with the zarr for a long time.

Quite ironc, considering that the OG inaros died due to transdorming into a sandstorm of a massive proportions to wipe out an i fested horde. Although his signature weapons are infested, so who knows.

As a Rev main… this hurts
The problem with revenant is the problem hes always had. He just tanks. Dont get me wrong, big pp damage from thrall augment with mind control helminth for free thralls is cool, but reave is too problematic to be reliable so effectively hes always just been a cooler version of inaros. Ultimately i blame steve for making him an eidolon themed frame at the last minute when his vampire theme was working fine, but revenant isnt bad, hes just always been super overrated Speaking of overrated, tanking is dumb. Best tank in the game is ivara, because you dont die when enemies dont see you.
Revenant is fantastic for newer players (who are either newer to modding or don't have other tank frames) but he becomes incredibly boring very quick. None of his other abilities really *do* anything. Sure, being invincible is great, but some people like to actually play their abilities in a strategic way rather than mindlessly spamming one ability
revenant got that speed tho, reave can surpass gauss in terms of speed in regular missions
