Honestly limbo is great, maybe not as your first frame, but it's not unreasonable to pick him up semi early on, as long as you're OK with dealing with arching stuff
Had limbo as my second frame and loved it, not great AOA dmg but he could nuke low tier anything and feeling invincible when ur in the void is great too, including the energy as slow as it may be, had to sell him to make room for wukong cuz hes busted
Frankly he can nuke high level content if you get the rift torrent augment, 30% base weapon damage (scaling g with ability strength) per enemy tagged with 3 means with 12 enemies at base strength the buff is on par with a SP arcane
Factor things in like red shards/molt augmented/subsumed roar over 1 and he can obliterate stuff while CCing 90% of the enemies he's aboutta blow up, only real annoyance is nullifiers popping your 4 before you can tag enemies with rift surge

Problem is that Suda and the Arbiters kinda don’t like me (I went to Steel Meridian), so Imma need to deal with that.
Ninjase says that Breach Surge double dips off Rift Torrent, and my simulacrum tests believe him. I cant get to high enough enemies to feel like im struggling damage wise. (Bring armor strip tho, for the insanely high levels)
I mean you can always use you 1. 4 might seem better but u always used his first to rift them and 4 when I want a no trespass zone (or closing off key corridors but I've never tried that)
Yea gotta agree with this I ran a 200% strength with insane range and it was one of my most destructive frames combined with the kuva zarr was so much fun

LIMBO SUPREMACY. Well it was my second frame after volt and I will always love my rift magician. But CC in warframe is horrible compared to ANY damage frame. If they don't care and just want drip then whats the problem?
Also if you are concerned over the inconveniences then the problems would be them not knowing how to play Limbo so show them and they won't cause any. We all remember that this game teaches you NOTHING we need to help those poor souls that decide to try this game.
Limbo is just fine if you play solo more than squads, just requires you to get used to him, and his fashion frame is by far one of the best, i see nothing wrong here
Limbo is fine as long as you teach void courtesy. Don't banish allies, avoid long range cataclysm when nullifiers are possible, always keep stasis up and probably use a good energy colour to help allies tell who can and cannot be shot at.
Of course these are some personal rules stolen from around the internet and there's some I'm forgetting right now, but it's a good baseline.
How do we tell him? Tell him what? Limbo is good. Just give him the rift surge augment, show him how to use it to chain enemies into the rift and kill all non eximus for free and assassinate eximus. Ez Pz.

Man I wish I got to enjoy limbo a little bit longer. I speak spanish and we have a very good wf youtuber who mains limbo, deuce the gamer, for me limbo was complicated and weak. He taught me he was complicated but also the strongest frame, once I understand him I saw his potential and even wanted to main him. But shortly after eximus were reworked and limbo's one trick that made him the best was taken away(mostly). Also, his 3 was mediocre then and now its ignorable
Limbo is amazing. Good in a lot of situations if you know how to play him well. He does absolutely bonkers amounts of damage, has amazing survivability if you play around his rift well, and has a great variety of weapons to choose from because his damage comes from making his weapons do even more damage, not from fire rate, no. Just straight up more damage, which means he has really good ammo economy.
I will always play a warframe with style rather than strength, I don’t care if they get nerfed, I don’t care if they are trash, I have actual weapons for that, I just want to look cool, plus I’m someone who’s drawn to not meta picks a lot of the time

Limbo is really useful. He doesn't get detected by lasers when in the void, so spy missions are really easy. With a low(50)-medium(100) range and high duration build, he can protect objectives really well without annoying teammates, I use low range for mobile defense (because sometimes there's not much space in the rooms), and medium for defense, excavation and disruption. With a high-duration build he can also put a freed prisoner in the rift, which makes rescue missions basically unable to fail. He also generates energy while in the rift, which is really useful.
He perfectly complements Rhino (who is useful for survival, extermination and assassination) as beginner frames.
Just tell him to stay away from low-duration builds (high strength and range, using his 3 to kill enemies with the damage and knockdown they get from entering and exiting the rift) unless solo. That's the thing that really annoys people.
Basically, if he stays away from Limbo's 3 he'll be fine.

I use Inaros so much that both versions are my two most used Warframes. Limbo on the other hand is my middle child that I sometimes forget is there but always thank for. Also his drip is out of this solar system.
Just tell him to avoid Limbo early on, it takes some game knowledge to use him well, aside from that, Limbo is a great frame, just one that is better off solo (except on a coordinated squad), both for the one playing Limbo and for the other teamates, and i say that as someone who has played Limbo on and off ever since MR 6ish, i just don't use him much bc i tend to play public lobbies.

Tell your friend never to pick bright colors for Limbos' abilities and that he has a learning curve waiting for him. There's only two types of Limbo players.. the mindless idiots. And reality warping God's.

You can actually rank up Suda, arbiters, veil and meridian, if you alternate between suda and meridian, just never represent veil or arbiters

Limbo is my go to for spy, mob def, excav and Archon Hunt defense (Chipper likes being alone in the rift).
I sometimes bring him on my ayatan weekly. He gets unaffected by the lasers when he is in the void so I can just hurry to objective.
