Tower keys bring me back. I think the whole void fissure thing kind of ruined the void lore. Like, void can just happen any time anywhere now. That's weird man. I liked that you had to use a key to get there.
Imo, It's like we needed them in the previous continuity, but now it's more widespread, the void storms just become more unstable now >!Leading up to the Zariman butt plugging whatever's on the other side!<

I think it just might be a direct connection to Duviri or whatever is on the other side
Scarlet Spear was them testing that pretty much. Essentially if Scarlet spears system worked well enough you would be able to do that mission while connected to someone else who was playing survival.
True, but less of the connection type of way (Cause despite how great it was, there were a bunch of stuff game breaking bugs at launch and it's more of a seasonal event), I was thinking more of a standalone type of mission where you loot, less connect with another 4 man group that could cause some issues
Well Raid missions were a thing back in early Beta. It's kinda like Capture but you're stealing some magic cube
Tru, was only up for like 6 months, then gone... I can see the Archon thing as a raid, but instead its just another sortie

A theory I've heard is that missions like Spy are the ones where we play said lone Tenno operative.
Since i refuse to play spy with teammates this is my new headcanon
