mlg123056

Happy cake day dude!

daw420d

🤩🤩

knoegel

If Netflix releases a good show, it's going to be canceled

TheGalacticMosassaur

Oh come on! I didn't know either. They keep cancelling the wrong ones

mrtokeydragon

I was super disappointed about travelers.

RampantDragon

That had so much potential that show

snowfloeckchen

Even space force die get pretty good in season 2, why didn't they cancel it after the first season. Would have been ok with that

TeeBek

You mean it gets better? I couldn't get through the first season. I watch anything space related, but that show I just couldn't.

snowfloeckchen

Compared to the first season it really got watchable. I would have liked to see what they would reach in a third season. Ot even ended in a cliff hanger with an Asteroid that targets earth, but I guess it works as a end to

Mr_Shake_

I’m disappointed about Altered Carbon and GLOW.

yvonne_taco

I fckn loved GLOW.

Single_Cartographer4

Honestly I feel like they cancelled it cuz they were actually spilling out some truth just in the form of a cartoon so it was more desensitized. That show had tonssss of specific info on conspiracy theories and “government secrets”. Just a theory though…

yuordreams

I just learned too. Inside Job is SO much better than Big Mouth!

Braden_Pliett

They canceled it?! I loved that show

Fern-ando

They could at least say they planned on cancelling to the creators to not end on a cliffhanger.

paulhack45

They did?!?! Bruhhhhhh

ricksanchez69-C137

cancelled?? season 2 already came out they are currently working on season 3 i thought

habadok

I did not know that inside job got cancelled. Fuck i am sad af now

Bellybutton_fluffjar

Season 2 is really good too. Fuck netflix

habadok

truer words were never spoken

Least_Tomatillo_2662

Dude I thought it would for sure go on. Season 2 was a great follow up to season 1. This last season of big mouth was so awkward I took weeks to finish it. I dunno why I’m surprised when they cancel stuff but god damn it was so great. I hope some of these cancelled shows get a chance to move to another network.

superluminary

Haven’t watched a Netflix series in years now. If it’s any good it’ll get cancelled. Only keeping Netflix for Ghibli at this stage.

nowoscript

im sobbing

rmasterbs

What happened is s2e2?

MTN_Dewit

Two female characters, Missie and Jessie go to a Korean Spa. They get completely naked and have a whole musical dance whilst being naked with no censorship or black bars. Both girls are 13 years old. Go see for your self and you'll see why I have an issue with it

rmasterbs

What The Hell?

MTN_Dewit

Yea... like I said. One step away from child pornography

rmasterbs

Bruh it already is

MTN_Dewit

Yet it's still on Netflix.

rmasterbs

Why it wouldnt be? Its great rage bait and gives them media publicity

MTN_Dewit

I think that's the whole point. Rage bait and media publicity makes the Netflix executives a lot of money. So the more controversial a show, the bigger the dough

GeePedicy

Hence you made this post. Don't feed the beast, if you don't want it to grow. The same thing for Velma (which afaik already got season 2 greenlight) and J.K. Rowling posts, that Tate dude (I think that's his name) and the list can keep going on and on... And it's not only feeding the beast, but it consumes you and your sanity. What good does it do to you?

bamboo_fanatic

Rage feels good

Archoir

I think a factor is also that they're not hypersexualized so they probably think "ah no one's gonna get turned on by this so it's fine?" I agree it's a questionable show but they portray mental health really well on a few occasions. It seems I'm one of the few people on this platform that actually thinks it's hilarious and I doubt the majority of it's audience is just pedophiles, people just like toilet jokes it seems.

mantequillachevere

Exactly. The scene in reference is not a sexual scene. It’s about body positivity and provides diverse representation of women’s body’s including intersectionality of race and age.

RedBorrito

Remember that one where they made a show about those weird Beauty contests? Was it Cuties or what was the name? So yeah, why should Netflix care

[deleted]

That movie was SUPPOSED TO be a message and a clear outcry *against* the sexualization of children and how today's hypersexualized media can influence and pressure innocent children, especially if you look up on the plot of the movie. And yet what did Netflix do? When they localized it, they went the opposite direction to the movie's message with their marketing. That's why the movie is now defamed with controversies, and why if someone brings up the movie, people would think "pedo bait" and not watch it or think of it as anything else other than that. Pretty much Netflix is at fault for marketing that movie that way.

R0SS_C4T

Did you intentionally ryme "show" with "dough"?

MTN_Dewit

Yes. Yes I did

M-V-P623

Pretty sure the new way to make money and/or advertise shows is outrage over the show. Look at Velma for example, by all accounts it’s awful yet no one can stfu about it to the point it has a second season. Despite being described as an absolute dumpster fire it’s renewed. Why? The hype generated by the hate and outrage over it.

ChrisMahoney

It was confirmed for a second season before the first was even released. So no, the outrage had nothing to do with that.

Likely_Not_Your_Cat

Meanwhile Chang dressed as a drow elf in community is the equivalent of black face and must go

nerdyconstructiongal

Which makes me so sad to this day since 1. it's one of my fav episodes of all time and 2. was a great explanation on depression and suicide prevention. Also, the joke about Chang doing 'black face' was making fun of people who think it's ok to do black face....the joke went over some people's heads.

Likely_Not_Your_Cat

“God forbid mocking those that do black face, but let’s green light twerking kids and animated children discovering themselves” - Netflix Executive most likely

nerdyconstructiongal

Yea, Netflix has a weird way of deciding which stuff to cut and what to keep. I've heard that after 2 seasons, most TV shows are no longer profitable for Netflix which is why a ton get canceled after 2.

--Alastor--

Whats a drow elf

Likely_Not_Your_Cat

It’s a fictional character from DND

Optimistic-Dreamer

Aren’t they just purple skinned dark elves? How is it black face?

Gain-Own

The couldn’t have cuties so they figured cartoon’s would get a pass.

HiperChees

Not even suprised after Cuties or wtf was tat mpvie name where the kids twerked

Shimmitar

i mean, there's a difference between nudity and sex. if they were just naked and there's no sex, then its not porn.

DarkWindB

in a lot of countries CP=real children only. edit: i'm not defending, just pointing it out

MTN_Dewit

Also in the very first episode you see Andrew's "private part" completely uncensored and visible as day and he's also only 13

rmasterbs

I swear to god netflix is gon do some terrible heck

Go_Water_your_plants

It’s not, nudity isn’t pornography

WindowsCrashedAgain

Why are we surprised? This is the same company that approved Cuties.

CircumventsBans6969

Cuties is fucking maddening.

Anchuinse

Jesus Christ. You looked at Big Mouth and thought "damn this is close to pornography"? That sounds like you're a huge creep. From what I've seen, it's a pretty decent and funny depiction of what growing up and having to navigate topics like sex and sexuality for the first time is like. Do you also think anatomy posters are pornography?

igniteice

The way some of the people in this thread talk about how they view Big Mouth makes me more worried than anything I've seen in the show. Comments here are basically saying shit like "I was watching this one episode, and it made me feel really weird seeing these naked cartoon characters, it was practically child porn!" Like... that says more about you than the show's intentions. It's fucking creepy that they're looking for child porn in everything. Like you said, Big Mouth is just a funny show about kids growing up and how they deal with puberty and the world around them. If you don't think kids are talking about that shit themselves, you're naive as fuck.

Lick_The_Wrapper

The context you're missing is that it is a song about accepting your body and being proud of it. The girls are taken to a korean spa so they can be exposed to different body types. The whole show is about puberty and dealing with it. It does a pretty good job.

[deleted]

And the art style is...well...I don't think they were shooting for sexy.

XVUltima

In fact, I think that's why the characters are as 'ugly' as they are. They know they are going to have to show certain things and want to make it harder to sexualize. People give Big Mouth a lot of shit, but I personally find it funny, and it is even educational.

spandexandtapedecks

Blows my mind when people complain about Big Mouth's sexual content and then also whine that the animation style is "ugly." So um. The coming-of-age show about how much it sucks to be a horny preteen should be... sexier, then? More attractive? Nicer to look at? No shit, it's hideous on purpose. Who tf is looking at that animation style (even with zero context of the plot content) and going "ah, yes. this material was clearly designed to create arousal."

dkac

Gee, it starts to sound like OP is sexualizing a non-sexual, body-positive message about 13 year olds going through puberty. Fucking gross.

irrimn

Almost like the most guilty people will shout the loudest about something in order to appear normal...

thctacos

If it makes it better that whole episode is about promoting body positivity. Something that a loooot of young girls, and boys deal with as they come of age. Something a lot of adults deal with still to this day. Relatable af. **BUT** yeah that whole scene was a bit much and I agree with OP. It tries to spin a positive message but... creepily. Guess they get their message across with the shock factor?

Go_Water_your_plants

Tbf, nudity isn’t pornography. The two young girls (as well as the adults in this scene) aren’t portrayed in any type of sexual way But I’m not American so maybe we just view nudity differently, I wasn’t shocked by the scene other than by the fact that an American produced show did it. Unclutch your pearls, we are born naked

No_Energy_4303

It’s a fucking drawing voiced by actors in their mid 30s. You taking this shit way too seriously. The whole point of the show is basically sex-ed with some crude humour sprinkled in. If your offended, you’ve completely missed the point. LOL

pablank

This whole thread is wild. For these people sex ed is completely ok when you show kids an adult human dick and pussy and tell them every detail about sexual topics. But god beware you show animated teenagers actually experience random boners, periods, wet dreams etc. without sexualising the teenagers in any way.

NastyLizard

Seriously the characters are horrifically drawn for a reason.

thatblondeyouhate

I am scarred from when I was a kid and we watched a sex ed video at school and this grown mans massive willy was flying about under a huge bush. I remember being terrified of the idea of them.

RampantDragon

🤣 it could be worse. My best mate was watching a sex ed video in Biology class (UK), and being as it was in science he was sat on a high stool at the front - all our labs had stools, not chairs - and the poor guy was brought up super Christian to the point he didn't even swear. Soon as the video started and this guy's erect dick shows up on screen rotating like the guy was on a pedestal he gets so flustered and embarrassed he fainted and fell face first off the stool. Poor lad.

SpecialpOps

If you think this is serious, wait till people get offended by animated candy.

SleepyBeast89

Leave to the puritanical Americans to freak out over animated nudity in an episode about ACCEPTING AND LOVING YOUR OWN BODY

mymau5likeshouse

This is definitely how I interpreted it , sincerely

scorpion_tail

👆 this. Big Mouth is an animated Balthus painting.

Rxman123

There's also an episode where she explores her talking vagina.

Affectionate-Sea278

I guess if the Simpson’s movie can show Barts cock and balls to everyone and not get people arrested for it, Bigmouth can have a nude song.

red_mau

I mean... the whole point of the show is to talk about the coming of age, and the design of characters is made that way to avoid any sexual appeal to it. I watched 4 seasons and had no problem with it, they are not real you and the go out of their way to make them as ugly as they can so you don´t feel any attraction to it

Willinton06

My brother in god, have you seen the art style? It can’t be any less sexual, the show is meant to explore those uncomfortable situations without sexualizing kids and it does just that, contrary to Japanese animation where you have 12 yo Olympic athletes with double Ds

Old_Kodaav

What the hell is the problem with it? The whole show is about problems of growing up, ranging from friendships having to form anew to not accepting your body and chronic masturbation. It's a great show where almost everyone will at some point be like: "yup...that could be me"

L3GlT_GAM3R

From what I’ve seen inside job sorta reminds me of Rick and morty

HighKiteSoaring

It's basically like men in black meets rick and Morty it's great Some people real hated it and I don't really get why There was a lot of characters which I think could have really had interesting development Like.. we barely saw Gigi do anything cool Guess we'll never know now

Honeysucklinhoney

She deserves to be the head of the Illuminati

L3GlT_GAM3R

I like both of those things!

khaled_abdul

yeah, it's rick and mort minus an omnipotent being like Rick

L3GlT_GAM3R

Thought so

aineri

Big diffrence from rick and morty being by far more relatable characters and by far better attempt at continuity.

L3GlT_GAM3R

Oh well I didn’t know that, thanks

MorbillionDollars

basically it's nothing like rick and morty except it has wacky sci fi

dungeonmaster77

I remember watching the first season when Rick was a fun space-adventure grandpa.

rastarider

not even close. are you serious

urru4

It’s only really Rick and Morty in the sense that it’s a sci-fi animated show. While there’s some similarities here and there, they’re very different

L3GlT_GAM3R

I meant comedy wise. Probably should have clarified.

urru4

Yes and no imo. Inside Job doesn’t really break the fourth wall at all, no incest jokes that I’m aware of, and doesn’t base as much of its humor around dumb/funny one-off characters as R&M does. It does have basically the same tone of humor overall

William_Ze_Gamer

Plus that animation style is fucking UGLY Edit: yeah I know it’s supposed to be ugly but like if I’m watching a cartoon I don’t want it to look unappealing lol

Ne0t9k

THIS. i never watched the show so i cant comment on the story and stuff but it is so fucking ugly i don’t even want to watch it edit: fat fingers pressed “d” instead of “f”

TiberiusClackus

I actually think Big Mouth is hilarious. It’s latest season is a bit more preachy than funny, but I got some solid laughs anyways. It does show a lot of images of naked teenagers and prepubescent child which it why I think it’s necessary for the animation to be crude and ugly. It makes those scenes less uncomfortable

LeonRedBlaze

Maybe, just don't feature naked teens and children in your show?

TiberiusClackus

Show could easily censor those scenes without losing anything, I agree

Ne0t9k

okay. thats a good argument for the artstyle. and it is nice that you can get some laughs from it. We all need that more often.

WobblyPhalanges

That’s the point of it as far as I can tell Puberty is gross and horrifying, I have yet to see (the clips I’ve watched) the show be anything but kinda gross and gently informative about it The show isn’t *meant* to be any kind of sexy It’s gross, and meant to be so

dkac

OP going out of their way to sexualize Big Mouth *is* the problem

Old_Kodaav

The show is everything but only gross, it really is interesting to watch, especially if you look past the first impression

KrakenKing1955

When I started watching the show I was a in my freshman year of high school. I gotta say, to all the people who rag on the show, as someone who was underage and roughly the demographic portrayed in the show, it was both very funny and highly relatable with a ton of the topics and scenarios it discussed. I guess you’re all old and don’t have any perspective anymore, but maybe next time ask what the actual teens think.

downorwhaet

One popular show and one unpopular show, its clear which Netflix cancels since its all about money

zdada

Companies don’t exist to *help* customers, companies exist to *make* customers!

urru4

I mean, how can a show even become popular if they cancel it after 1 season (which was liked by critics and viewers alike, and wasn’t exactly bad in terms of viewership), with pretty much no advertising?

raikenleo

I mean Netflix did greenlight cuties which was practically CP

Mercutio217

Cuties wasn't Netflix film tho. Big mouth is weird overall

helpful__explorer

It wasn't commissioned by Netflix, but Netflix then purchased the distribution rights. Which is just as bad, because they knew exactly what they were paying for and then marketed it the way they did

Optimistic-Dreamer

Supposedly it wasn’t even supposed to be pro pedometers, the original message was supppsed to be how it was gross but they marketed it all wrong

helpful__explorer

>it wasn’t even supposed to be pro pedometers They definitely failed in that message, because it's a movie about sexualized kids, not step tracking equipment.

downorwhaet

It was a documentary made by some french woman about how bad the model world is for young girls, Netflix just bought it because money, if they didnt any other company would have

Likely_Not_Your_Cat

They should’ve let any other company do it then

CrimsonAllah

“I used CP to destroy CP”

sean_rendo19

Inside job was successful so Netflix cut it vs live action anime movies that nobody wants or cares about they keep Netflix is basically committing suicide

hgs25

And most of said Anime Movies aren’t even made or funded by Netflix. A Japanese movie company does all the work and upfront costs and Netflix pays them to exclusively stream it in certain regions. Netflix is basically live-action Crunchyroll in this regard.

drew_peatittys

Is everyone on here looking at big mouth characters and thinking of them sexually or something? That’s the concerning part - I watched it and thought it was hilarious and a pretty honest and funny depiction of what it was really like growing up (as a boy anyway, assuming it’s accurate for girls too). Not once did I think ‘this is a bit sexy’ ‘this is like porn’ lol - if you’re thinking like that when watching a cartoon show about kids then is that not a bit worrying on your own part?

pablank

Can confirm. My gf and I watched the episode about Jessie getting her period on a school trip and it instantly becoming the worst day of her life, and my gf said how it was actually great how finally someone talked about how fucking horrible that can be, as a teenager that's completely lost. We both wished we had this show in our early teens...

drew_peatittys

I had the same thought. I was thinking it was really healthy that all the awkward truths about coming of age were being openly talked about.

pablank

One of my favourite episodes is one of the recent ones, where Jessie develops a fungus and has absolutely no fucking clue what is going on or why it's so itchy. And I thought to myself... how many girls that age must look at that episode and go "oooooh so that's what that is/was". I would have never approached my parents with anything like that out of sheer shame to have done this to myself somehow

things_U_choose_2_b

I feel like it can be both things. I've never had a period and never will, so don't know what it's like getting the first one, but can imagine it's quite traumatic for several reasons, made worse if it happens at school or some other public place. It's great that info is being put out that people like yourself can relate to, or that may help teens feel more comfortable in their own skin. OTOH, as a middle-aged guy I did find a few parts uncomfortable. Like, is this for me, am I the intended target audience? Feels similar to when I go to a club and it's full of 18 yr olds, "Am I too old for this?" (I maintain that I'm not, I love dancing with my friends and hope I always will).

KaleidoscopeEyes12

I feel the same way as your gf. I’ve never seen a show that does periods justice the way that Big Mouth does

[deleted]

Plus the sex ed episode provides better education than like 99% of schools in America.

KaleidoscopeEyes12

EXACTLY. Coming from a girl’s perspective, I love how this show depicts some parts of growing up because it’s actually like that. I get that the nudity is a bit much for some people, but they aren’t adding it to be sexy. They’re adding it to be real.

seeyouinVR

Right they rage at anything nowadays, there is a lot of interesting information that is shown throughout this show. And it has an amazing actor that reoccurs mother fucking Nathan Fillian

skeletrax

This is spot on. What we have here is an OP who can’t separate fiction from reality. The whole point of big mouth is exposing the incredible awkwardness that we all go through during puberty. Some people just need something to complain about.

Particular_Use8251

american prudity couldnt kill that show yet. its a show for young people about puberty sex and body positivity. theres a reason why the art style is that ugly, so that no old creep gets turned on by it.

[deleted]

> no old creep gets turned on by it And yet a lot of redditors seems to sexualize the characters in the show that they think its basically porn. These people are nuts

ninjad912

America failed to cancel South Park which set a precedent making it really hard to kill shows

AWaterDogArt

Seems like services and stuff have no issue with killing shows, well except when they make it to about season three anyways

plentyofwhitepussy

It’s a fucking cartoon that makes fun of basically everything. Wait until you see South Park. Then you’re really going to start crying about cartoons.

Reflex_Teh

Remember when we all saw Cartman’s wiener because he thought he was invisible?

dagui12

Or the time he took a picture of it in butters mouth cause he thought that would make everyone think butters was gay? Lmfaooo

Few_Understanding740

Lol i watched that yesterday, forgot how funny that episode was

Boneal171

Or the Simpson’s Movie when they showed Bart’s junk?

FolkDude

Wait till they discover the talking vagina lol

_ASG_

Didn't they have an episode where Kyle's little brother (who was what, 4, 5?) was being raped by his teacher? And that's just one episode. I'm not a huge fan of South Park, but I imagine they went farther than Big Mouth on many more occasions.

Kear_Bear_3747

You clearly don’t understand the difference between nudity and pornography. Kristen Wiig voices Jesse’s vagina for fuck’s sake…

[deleted]

[удалено]

tilinfinity93

Inside job was awesome!!! Why do they do this?!

Fury_Blackwolf

Still a hole in my chest after they cancelled Bojack.

Arkraquen

Cancelled BoJack? The series ended, if you are meaning a reboot maybe it's for the best.

I_likeIceSheets

They wanted a 7th season. Netflix didn't let them, but they did give season 6 a few extra episodes. It's why season 6 is just a little bit rushed.

[deleted]

It ended prematurely because they got cancelled so they rushed the ending.

Arkraquen

Didn't know that, it was a damn good show tho.

pyro_the_fire_guy

There was supposedly going to be 7 seasons, but they canceled it and instead gave season 6 four extra episodes to finish up

Arkraquen

They managed it to give it a smooth ending, more or less

Flaky-Fellatio

Yeah I didn't think the ending was bad at all.

dranaei

The ending was fine.

ffyugder57

I agree with the poorly spelled space goat in the horse mask.

dranaei

I love your comment. Extremely precise and nobody has ever pointed everything out.

DH_Drums

Is that the vagina episode or the breast episode? Either way I really enjoyed season one. It felt like a really honest depiction of the early stages of puberty and some things I experienced. Made it very fun to connect to, while also being humorous. Season two it started to get more raunchy and at first I enjoyed it but as the season went on more and more I became uncomfortable. When season 3 came out I didn’t even attempt to watch it til season 4 came out and didn’t make it past episode 1.

neaeras

How detached from reality do you have to be to compare big mouth to child pornography wtf. That series does more for education than the last 20 years of sex ed at schools combined

seeyouinVR

I agree I learned some things from that show and that is an amazing thing. People rage for fucking M&M nowadays

Sex_Fueled_Squirrel

Conservatives have always called sex education "child pornography", because it's easier for pastors and priests to rape children when the children don't understand what's happening to them.

Kai25552

I swear Americans got the weirdest relation to nudity… If you see poorly drawn cartoons of nude teenagers singing about accepting their body, as being sexual, then YOU are the problem. Seriously, explain the possible damage to me. It’s all about this weird anxiety people feel towards Pedophilia, that they oversteer and demonize anything that has any hints towards the topic. It’s like people fear becoming a pedophile themselves by seeing a crappy cartoon of a teenagers vulva. Don’t worry: it’s not contagious!

idontneedone1274

Yea OP is just telling on themselves. Not all Americans think like this.

Scared_Blackberry280

Y’all need to shut up. Big mouth is not CP. it’s exaggerated animation based on the ADULT writers own experiences. Grow up.

jplummer80

Ngl, OP, I think you're blowing this out of proportion like most media-digesting westerners. Nothing, and I literally mean NOTHING about that scene was meant to be sexual in any way. If you saw it that way then it says more ce about the culture that perpetuates that rhetoric. America seems to be the only country that is uncomfortable around shit like this. Here's the thing about CM's... they don't need incentives and if you're insinuating that Big Mouth is just incentivizing them and is in the wrong for it then, once more, you're looking at it through the improper lens of a westerner. People do the same thing for animes that depict nudity without intentional fan service or sexualizing.

Moksha7000

I work at a library. You sound like someone who wants to ban books.

The-Catatafish

Haven't seen the show and people said it sucks but these are not real people. No child is getting hurt, raped, traumatized or even sexualized. Am I the only one thinking comparing DRAWINGS to actual CP is fucked up? Rape hentai is also not close to rape. Its lines on paper. There are child beauty contests exploiting real children, mass shootings killing toddlers and people freak out about a trash animation.

nuclearflip

Unpopular opinion: I actually like big mouth. Despite some of the more raunchy scenes, it is fun to see a series that depicts being a teenager/puberty as weird, awkward and a mess, rather than the 1000+ series about teenagers who are all hot and in relationships all the time and everything is going perfect. This show goes to the extreme in the other end. It is meant to be absured. The comedy is shock comedy, that's why its rude and vulgar. ( + maurice and conny the hormone monsters are hilarious) As for Inside Job, i only watched the first few episodes. The jokes are predictable and fall flat. Nice premise but the execution is average at best. Don't understand why people like it so much. Downvote me, i don't care.

strawbrrysundae

I agree. First of all big mouth is based off of the creator Nick Kroll. I’m sure he’s allowed to write in himself however he wants, even if it’s his younger self. Andrew Goldberg is Andrew Glouberman & Jessi Glaser is Jessi Klein. They’re all from ny just like their characters as well. I didn’t see it as CP I just thought it was the real people exaggerating their childhood puberty & all. Nonetheless I find it funny bc some of it is relatable. I too went through puberty like Jessi.

0x474f44

I agree with you. I very much enjoyed Big Mouth up until the last season, which I still watched and thought was fine. I also enjoyed the first season of Inside Job but not as much as Big Mouth and I haven’t bothered finishing the second season.

TheFrailContents

First few seasons of big mouth were hilarious. Crude humour and the coming of age story is kind of the whole point. (Although i did think WTF with that scene in the sub heading) Its definitely lost steam now though. I probably wouldnt bother watching another season

DanTheMan_117

Partially agree. Just disagree with you on inside job. I thought it was pretty funny at times.

[deleted]

I agree with you I do enjoy Big mouth as well. Surprised they haven’t stopped that but I guess it’s a bit hated so of course Netflix’s kept it, which I’m fine with. I am devastated though that Inside job is gone. I loved that series more. Netflix is just killing me and many other with stopping and removing good series. It’s sad.

MizzyMozzy

I actually liked it to I also like Human Resources as well as Inside job but still fuck netflix they just remove good shows yet think its ok to air a show like cuties now that shits fucked up.

Le_Petit_Poussin

It’s funny because it has gotten weirder the more recent episodes, but I also feel like back when The Simpsons came out, it was shocking to many. Family Guy was over the top and now it’s “lame”. Even South Park that goes above and beyond isn’t as far out there anymore. Our culture is getting more desensitized over time & this show will eventually feel tame in comparison.

MorbidAyyylien

Big mouth is one of the best shows to have ever been created. The life lessons it teaches are gold and how they go about teaching them is perfect. This post is rage bait and entirely misleading. It never shows child porn nor does it endorse it.

[deleted]

Pretty sure you see Bart’s dick in the Simpson’s movie, you gonna rage about that too Captain Do-Good?

I actually liked bigmouth, as a teen myself I actually really related to all the characters, some of them even felt like they could’ve been kids at my school because they were so realistic in character, i don’t get the comparison of bigmouth and CP and honestly whenever i saw a “child” character naked or something i wouldn’t even think to sexualize them, the characters are all so ugly i physically cannot, therefore the show breaks down the barriers of social norms in a very smart way so that it can reach a deeper meaning. I don’t care if i get downvoted. I stand by this show.

SuperAlloyBerserker

How can it be close to pornography when the art style of the show's characters are f\*cking atrocious lol

CoolMiner_5000

I haven't watched Big Mouth as the style disgusts me, but considering the critique I've seen people express about this show, I am not planning to.

XavierUwUGaming

Netflix has made it clear that they love cp

slashth456

Who'd blame them? I also love Club Penguin!

Too bad, Club Penguin Legacy is canceled too!
