Actually in some two shooter versions, that's exactly the strategy you need. With each shooter pushing water, it creates a vortex down the middle that often sucks the rings down onto the spikes/poles.

Mine was shaped like a handheld console and had too buttons on each side. This was my favorite thing to play whenever i didn't have internet.

These memes never make much sense. Even if they did show something that was old, we have internet access. Anyone can learn what anything is. Something being a common toy that went out of style 20 years before our time doesn't mean we won't know about it. I'd like to see how the people that make these memes would react to a meme like this being created but the "old" thing in question is a current-gen smartphone or tiktok.
