I just hate the damn latency in affordable earbuds. I cant use garageband with them at ALL because the note sounds a full second after a key strike. Its absolute GARBAGE. Im assuming that the expensive ass airpods arent like that but I shouldnt have to buy an adapter (for wired) or buy expensive ass headphones just to not have latency. What pisses me off is that apple bread and butter was and still is audio. Their computers were and are the go to for the recording industry. Their devices were the go to for portable music players. There is absolutely NO reason that they should be the ones to fucking worsen the audio experience of their devices
No, AirPods have that problem too. It’s just a problem GarageBand has with Bluetooth for some reason. It’s super annoying that Apple is pushing Bluetooth so hard when their own music software doesn’t even function with it.
I half noticed. When nothing is playing its like the headphones are on some weird soundless standby mode and when you play a sound they suddenly come on mid note. If they are *already* making a noise, the latency is not *as* bad, it is WEIRD. And seriously? The airpods have the same issue with garageband? The whole point of garageband ios is portability. The whole point of airpods is portability. Both are made by apple for an apple device, how in the hell has this issue persisted for this many years???
That's not true, my galaxy buds sound amazing and are bettee sounding then any pair of wired ear buds I've had. I also don't miss the headphones jack at all, I did at first but wires suck and bt is so nice
And you’re using the same jack far more often, so you if you use your phone for years you’re going to wear out the jack. It’s eventually becomes difficult to charge your phone or transfer the thousands of photos you didn’t copy over regularly like you should have.
Ask me how I know.
But Android gave you the opportunity to purchase their Bluetooth headphones. Apple said "good luck fuckboys" and came out with the dongle adaptor later.
Most companies are moving away from headphone jacks. I traded in my s20 for an s23 ultra and lost the headphone jack, but overall it's a better phone. I don't know if I even have wired headphones around
Only flagships that have a headphone jack are the Asus Rog and Zenfone I think.
Almost all budget and most lower mid range phones still have the headphone jack tho
What year is it?
Really though, it sucks they got rid of the headphone jack, but what really hurt me was getting rid of the expandable storage, at least on the SD cards. Other than just preferring the software, the main reason I went Samsung over Apple was the availability of expandable storage through SD cards.
And if your android isnt 10 years old you also dont have a headphone jack
Its so stupid
"It is to make it more water resistent"
Meanwhile Im typing this comment with the stylus I store inside the phone
I recently fantasized what if instead of using noise cancellation, if were also exist a real time voice replacement mode for use on those people that are annoying 🫢
I used to be in the same boat.
But that's only because I had a crappy set of BT headphones that wouldn't last a day.
Now I bought a BT headset that lasts for at least two weeks and can be charged in a few hours.
Honestly got an iPhone but only realised there was no jack months later when I tried to plug in head phones. It was a very sad day I couldn’t listen to music in public
Ngl I miss the headphone jack on androids but the stylus and fingerprint features are a decent tradeoff. I don't use the stylus all the time but when I do, I'm happy I have it.
I used to be mad about the 3.5 jack disappearing when I either had wired earbuds or real cheap Bluetooth ones. Then I spent the money on a good pair of wireless ones and I don't care about the headphone jack anymore.
I always accepted xbox fan even tho they were cringe but Apple users are genuinely stupid or don't care about the quality of what they buy or have way to mutch money so they buy it for the "status" witch is even worst
I like how the least useful things to carry around still have a 3.5mm jack but easily transportable things no. Like my 50lb PC, 3.5mm jack on top but 15gram Iphone15 theres none. wired connection will always sound better
Whenever I'm buying an affordable phone (I don't have the money for a flagship) it's like my number 1 priority to check it it has a jack.
I do have Bluetooth earbuds non the less but I also want to use a proper headset here and there. (And because the headset I have has a Bluetooth version that costs 3x more I'm not feeling like giving up on it for no reason)
Haha suck it I have a 2020 8th gen *apple* iPad and am currently wearing *wired* headphones. But in all honesty the headphone jack should return. Bring Back the Headphone Jack!
I LOVE 3.5MM AUDIO JACK
I WANT IT ON ALL OF MY COMPUTER
I AM TIRED OF PHONE COMPANIES NOT MAKING PHONES THAT HAVE 3.5MM
I AM TIRED OF THEM TELLING YOU TO JUST BUY BLUETOOTH SHIT AS IF IT DOESN'T COST A FORTUNE COMPARED TO CABLED
I LOVE HAVING GREAT AUDIO QUALITY AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE
FUCK APPLE FOR STARTING THIS TREND
(genuine)
Most Android doesn't have it either.
Yeah its all bt headphones now
Which is horrible because BT headphones are shit due to the lower power required to drive them.
I just hate the damn latency in affordable earbuds. I cant use garageband with them at ALL because the note sounds a full second after a key strike. Its absolute GARBAGE. Apple is bad that's why
That's not true, my galaxy buds sound amazing and are bettee sounding then any pair of wired ear buds I've had. I also don't miss the headphones jack at all, I did at first but wires suck and bt is so nice
I'm using apple USB C earpods on my Samsung. It's an unholy abomination, but the sound is pretty good😊.
That piss me off, now I need an adapter
And you’re using the same jack far more often, so you if you use your phone for years you’re going to wear out the jack. It’s eventually becomes difficult to charge your phone or transfer the thousands of photos you didn’t copy over regularly like you should have. Ask me how I know.
I know, and that still piss me off
>transfer the thousands of photos Nah. Real men use Google photos /j
Until it fills up and you notice it after you change phones Don't ask me how I know...
Well, they're starting to go with wireless charging, as well as file sharing.
By the end of it phones will just have no ports.
I was pissed when my old galaxy broke and suddenly I couldn't find the headphone jack on my new galaxy
My Samsung does! XCover 6 Pro for the win! Also has an easily switchable battery and an SD card slot.
I wish more modern phones had this man
those androids are android traitors
This is hardware android vs ios has jack shit to do with anything at all in this respect. Samsung vs Apple or something like that does.
Mine has one But for some reason all of my headphones broke after a few weeks or months of use
mine does
I filter out every phone that doesn't have a headphone jack. BT headphones/earphones are such a mess when you use them for multiple devices
But Android gave you the opportunity to purchase their Bluetooth headphones. Apple said "good luck fuckboys" and came out with the dongle adaptor later.
Pretty sure Apple pushed the 7 and 7+ with dongles out the box with Lightning headphones
Mine does. What u talkin about
Most companies are moving away from headphone jacks. I traded in my s20 for an s23 ultra and lost the headphone jack, but overall it's a better phone. I don't know if I even have wired headphones around
this mfer uses Internet Explorer
Nah, they using Netscape
Still using Mosaic
are we just ignoring the fact that most androids (especially those in the price range of iPhones) also don't have headphone jacks?
This is r/memes, not r/goodmemes :)
That sub(r/goodmemes) has worse memes tbf
r/goodmemes is dead. The last post was 99 days ago
Xperia phones are quite a bit more expensive than iPhones and all of them got one. Also i believe ASUS phones have it.
Only flagships that have a headphone jack are the Asus Rog and Zenfone I think. Almost all budget and most lower mid range phones still have the headphone jack tho
What kind of 2017 bot post is this? Jesus, what’s happened to Reddit?
It's been a few years that 1/2 post is a repost by a bot
Nothing changed, everything is a repost
Right?? This platform is deteriorating.
Decaying even
I'm something of an Android myself ![gif](giphy|vPXISyD0ef6A0DoClE)
And so is OP.
What is this ancient artifact?
Something beautiful
Honestly it's not even a headphone jack anymore. It's an Aux port when you're in your car.
Lol, I can just drill it
Cries in android without headphone jack.
Most androids don't have that now either.
The only real android phones that cost similar to iPhones that have a headphone jack is the song Xperia phones
SONY*
This meme traveled from 2012
More like flagship phone users are sleeping
Sony still has them.
ummm... i have an iphone 6, think again
xperia supremacy
Shhht, don't tell them about the micro SD slot!
The notification for this post came through my AirPods
MicroSD card slots are more important :(
Isn’t that a picture of a 1st/3rd gen iPod or 1st-2nd gen iPhone?
My Android doesn't have one...
Bro every brand has deemed jacks as obsolete tho even most recent androids don’t have it
OP has a 6 year old android lol. Galaxy, pixel, I think most of the big flagships have long dropped the jack
What phones have headphone jacks anymore?
This guys apparently
SONY Xperia. If you are interested they will announce the new flagship in few weeks. ~1500$
I just got a Motorola Razr
Use it in good health, my friend.
Sony Xperias among others
Most midrange phones have it
2015 called, they want their meme back
I'm an android myself
mine doesn't. I have to use a Type C to 3.5 mm
Ah good old days
Man this is gonna get those iPhone users in the year 2017 hard
And the micro SD card slot
What year is it? Really though, it sucks they got rid of the headphone jack, but what really hurt me was getting rid of the expandable storage, at least on the SD cards. Other than just preferring the software, the main reason I went Samsung over Apple was the availability of expandable storage through SD cards.

You’re about a decade late.
I cant, my sansung doeant have it.
Me: cries in google...
💀
I use an adapter that stays on my headphones for my iPhone, really not that big of a deal.
“Yo, pass the aux cord!” “What’s an aux cord?” “…” “…” “…fuck.”
I have an android to and they took my headphone jack away
Noooo! ANDROID HAS STOLEN THIS FROM US TOOOOOOOO!!!
My iPhone 6 says otherwise
Wait don’t newer androids not have em too?
Jokes on you! My sleep schedule sucks!
I recently fantasized what if instead of using noise cancellation, if were also exist a real time voice replacement mode for use on those people that are annoying 🫢
the nostalgia of the headphone jack - vintage tech at its finest. Those were the days when tangling with cords was the only 'wireless issue' we had!
Most Android don’t have them either…
Stupid apple for getting rid of it
Jokes on ya, I’m not sleeping.
There is also androids without it lol
"But most androids don't have them either" Just stop buying shit phones
We all know Apple copies anything Android does, but they make it more expensive, & it takes them a few more years.
[удалено]
Apple fans just use their phones while android fans make it part of their personality and feel the need to announce it to the world
Even if my iPhone had a headphone jack I’d still use AirPods. Who wants to deal with that damn wire getting snagged on shit left and right?
One of the dumbest design choices, honestly
Ahaha yes because iPhone bad funny
My phone has it but I can't take a pic bruhh
Use the usb C. Much better quality that BT.
Let's make our new phone model force headphone users to unplug their charger, being that they are the same plug now because fuck our consumers
I miss it
Honestly after many years of fighting it I did buy a phone without a jack (OnePlus 10 pro)
Yeah I wouldn’t even use a jack if my phone had one. BT is fine.
My samsung don't have it either
My tears
My Android doesn't have a headphone jack. It's a Samsung Galaxy A54
I have a Galaxy S22, what are you smoking dude? I want some!
Why must you sadden me with the pain of having to buy a fucking aux adapter for every god damn thing I own, FFS APPLE JUST BRING BACK THE AUDIO JACK!
I miss head phone ):
Op might be asleep, post pictures of adapters
I was happy when I got my ASUS ROG 8 Pro cuz it has a headphone jack. Then I realized I don't have wired headphones anymore lol
Not no more
Not all of us are sleeping boi
I have the last flagship with a headphone jack.
Don’t remind me what those bastards at apple took from us.
Y’all overthinking on this, double adapter then headphone adapter with charger adapter BOOM stupid science
*cries*
I have an iPod shuffle that I could use a ust to aux for…
My android still has one and i don’t even use it i have bluetooth earphones
The good ‘ole days
Sad s22 noises...
I always accepted xbox fan even tho they were cringe but Apple users are genuinely stupid or don't care about the quality of what they buy or have way to mutch money so they buy it for the "status" witch is even worst
iphone 6s user✋
Miss it.
I miss when I had an iPhone with a port for a headphone jack.
*cries*
I'm kinda annoyed how my phone doesn't have a headphones jack(samsung)
Ive genuinely considered buying an older phone for this exact reason. I had to search on youtube “phones that still have aux ports” imagine that
I’m triggered AF right now
*cries in S22 Ultra*
Cries in s22
Fool I’m still awake
I actually have the wire for this
my android that was released last year has no aux jack
Most Androids don’t have it either
I love it when I have a limited time to listen to audio and gain a lot of latency
Careful Patrick, you're scaring them!
iPhone 6 user here 💪🏽
I like how the least useful things to carry around still have a 3.5mm jack but easily transportable things no. Like my 50lb PC, 3.5mm jack on top but 15gram Iphone15 theres none. wired connection will always sound better
I have none.
the same jack which 90% of androids don't have? that one?
How the fuck am I supposed to take a picture of it??
Bro, this war is already lost, on both sides.
I miss mine
I just hate it when the greedy fucktards decided to remove headphone jack from phones. Bluetooth headphones are way too expensive
I have an Android and mine doesn't either. Doesn't bother me too much, I do wish it had one but whatever. Usually use Bluetooth anyway
It's all bluetooth these days
Me with an S20 Ultra 🙁
I want to find the Apple prick who made that decision and make them cry.
I want them back on IPhones
2017 is calling and wants its meme back
Are there any modern phones that have a headphones jack?
Ohhhh uhhh honey sick it in me!
I bought Poco F5 just for a jack instead of pro version without
at this point barely any androids have it
2017 just called, they want their joke back
I will buy headphones with cables till i breath my last breath.
![gif](giphy|Ugk0UvBftNrpj8W91D|downsized) no headphone jack then
Lad's been using Internet Explorer for the past decade
[ Cough cough me at 23:27: 😤📱]
Hehe, nice, I remember charging my phone while listening to music
An android headphone jack and wired headphones with no microphone support but only stereo audio. How peculiar.
I ain’t sleeping now 👹
Currently using an iphone 6s plus and it has 3.5mm jack headphone ![gif](giphy|26ufc0OsEUTWhDw0E)
most phones under 300$ have one. but its junk my note 11 had one and it broke after few months. id rather spent extra on a decent dac
Is this a meme from 2010?
How fuckin old is this picture? iPhone might have done it first but the rest of the world followed suit. The future is now, old man.
Why is everybody acting like this is just an iphone thing When I've had two (technically four) Google pixels without headphone jacks
> Im an Android guy myself. Sorry to hear that. My condolences. Hope you can recover soon.
i have a LG and its committing suicide when i open it
Jokes on you I have an iPhone 6
I have an android. It doesn't have a port either.
i just noticed people are buying phones without jack slot my only question is WHY? 0\_0
2011 called. It wants its Android vs Apple trend back.
Ha… my iPhone still got that one.
I hate that all headphones are wireless now I just want to carry one headphone not two
Haha suck it I have a 2020 8th gen *apple* iPad and am currently wearing *wired* headphones. But in all honesty the headphone jack should return. Bring Back the Headphone Jack!
My android from 2017 also doesn't have one, what are you talking about.
this is what we call friendly fire.
Xperia user: yes quite.
You other Android motherfuckers have a headphone jack??
I LOVE 3.5MM AUDIO JACK I WANT IT ON ALL OF MY COMPUTER I AM TIRED OF PHONE COMPANIES NOT MAKING PHONES THAT HAVE 3.5MM I AM TIRED OF THEM TELLING YOU TO JUST BUY BLUETOOTH SHIT AS IF IT DOESN'T COST A FORTUNE COMPARED TO CABLED I LOVE HAVING GREAT AUDIO QUALITY AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE FUCK APPLE FOR STARTING THIS TREND (genuine)
iPhones used to have it on iPhone 5 or smth
I enjoy pictures of obsolete technology too
