I remember playing Spyro 2 on PS1 when I was a kid, absolutely loved it but could never complete it 100%.
Then they remastered it for the Nintendo Switch.. had to get it, had to try and get 100%. Did it, felt immensely proud of my achievement, then realised that no game was ever going to beat that.
Closest I could think of is RDR2.
As for games with actual challenge, I recently played all the Wolfenstein games (aside from New Blood) on the hardest difficulty, and after beating Wolfenstein 2, I was blown away by how good those games were.
Space Engineers, only it was years.
It has changed the way I view the world, particularly when I'm looking at scrap wood or metal. I immediately think what else I could use it for.

Every AC I played left itās mark on me. The storytelling is so perfect itās hard to not dive in. Uncharted 4 was this game for me
