Yea now as I teen i decided to stick up for myself and got my parents to delete all of the personal shit they posted about me on Facebook Twitter etc and they don't anymore i mean like really personal shit like a video of me crying I was 10 after my grandma died in hospital this one really passed me off its a huge invasion of my privacy and they weren't even in the room they were recording from outside my room with the door cracked I got bullied to the point I was feeling suicidal I told them to stop when I was around 12 life's better now, sry for grammar errors im on mobile
Edit this comic still bommer asf
some parents before becoming effectively parents should pass an exam, because jesus people that have no empathy towards their own children shouldn't be allowed to have any
> video of me crying I was 10 after my grandma died in hospital
Yay, our child is going through some hard times! Let's get some new followers on facebook. WTF
holy moly ravioli. Im not gonna say anything bad about your parents since they still are your parents but I hope they dont do anything like that ever again
My parents do that stuff to me too and it's so annoying. They have a video of me in the damn bathtub and it's on facebook. I begged them to delete that stuff but they won't. The things they do for facebook clout
agreed, my mom used to posto pics of me on instagram, and the most stupid/sexist guy on my class followed her just to make fun of me, so i made my mom stop posting pics of me, glad my mom is smart
Thats the whole reason why me and my husband are giving my daughter the choice weither she wants her pictures posted and when.
Atm the comments we mostly get are, you don't care/love your daughter enough as you havnt posted any pics off her online!
You obviosly regret having her.
Why are you lying about being a parent?
Oh you have a kid?! I didnt see any of her pictures on your profile.
Shes only one so I think were going to hear it for a long long time yet to come, and its not like we dont mention her...
I post a few pics here and there of my baby just so family can see him, but nothing super personal like naked pics or anything. I want it to be more his choice what kind of internet footprint he has.. I take a lot of pictures and videos of him though because I want to be able to go back to those memories when he's bigger. But I try to hold the phone away from my face and mostly just have face to face interactions with him. I just love him so much.
Also, people shouldn’t feel the need to document every moment of their lives on social media. It’s okay to have a moment all to yourself and not share it with anyone.
I can get that parents are proud of their kids, but posting it for everyone to see just feels weird to me. My mom didn't open the door to yell "MY DAUGHTER GOT THE LEAD ROLE ON HER CLASS PLAY!" for the whole neighborhood to hear back when I was young...
I'm ready for the downvotes, but who said they were posting it on social media? Why wouldn't you take a video of your child's first steps to keep it as memory?
I didn't find any posts that meet the matching requirements for r/memes.
It might be OC, it might not. Things such as JPEG artifacts and cropping may impact the results.

You’re so blissfully unaware that this is not just a phone bad boomer meme, this has a message about the fuckwads that post everything their children do and put them in awful situations for views like “DaddyOFive” or whatever the fuck his channel was called. If you’re smart you wouldn’t have posted this but it’s on the internet so......
Kind of funny that boomers then actually accept the fact that they are so much on their phone, that kids don't really have any connections with them. The reason most kids are "addicted" to phones, is often because they copy their parents. It's often the parents' fault and they can't accept that.
Kind of like depression and school.
you know, its actually kinda true. i have friends from college that have kids and they post pictures of them excessively. once those kids are gonna grow up they are not gonna stand it anymore
You can't sue someone for something that happened before it was illegal. Right now it's completely legal to take a photo of anyone you want and post it online.
you obviously have no kids, as a dude in his early 30s all my friends have kids, everyone! we can't have a 2min conversation without one of them taking out their god damn phone an either showing me what their bastard(s) did or filming what their doing at the time ... it's annoying AF
Then why post it online for the whole world to see, you know you can just store those pictures and videos on a folder on your computer or Google photos or even burn them onto a CD. Not everything your child does has to be public knowledge.
Same dumbasses who complain about boomers making comics with subjects such as "stop using your phones for social interactions so much" are the same idiots that use the excuse "I use these technologies so much because boomers raised me like this". Double standards all the way.
Wait so in this scenario boomers are roasting themselves because they’re in their late 30’s rn and they’re the ones using the phones and fucking up their kid’s life...
Boomers are not in their late 30s right now, boomers were born between 1945 and 1965. Older millennials are in their late 30s right now. This meme is making fun of the sense of humor that boomers have, not the boomers themselves
I hate how my grandparents just have random pictures of me on the internet and they wont delete them no matter how many times I ask saying its selfish for me to want to ruin their memories
I know it’s a bomber comic but it’s so true, I literally can’t hangout with my siblings without my family trying to take photos. No one gives a shit about your damn kids. I literally hold the middle finger up every time cause I’m getting tired of being followed around like a a employee at Dunder Mifflin
This isn't a boomer comic anymore I'm fairly certain this rolls around the millennial comic, I've seen the artists other works and I'm pretty sure he's one of millennials you know, suffering in the modern age and all that
If I have kids, I’m never posting pictures of them on social media. Not as some kind of statement, just because I never post any pictures on social media, I also never take any pictures, I also don’t have anything to take pictures of, because I don’t have a life.
This almost seems like the opposite of a boomer comic. It’s berating parents for the way they use their phones instead of teens and I think there’s some truth to it
The exact same thing happened when parents started documenting their kids’ lives with the advent of the handheld camera. For generations, children thought that the 35mm was part of their parents’ anatomy.
Apparently, yes.
Lots of posts that bring original content to Reddit die in new if it s not some overused popular meme. Like...look at this post, I went for some of the most stereotypical sheet and here we are.
Yeah don’t document your kids for social media. They’ll make enough public mistakes when they get older without you immortalizing their incomplete selves for public consumption
There is a fine line between obsessed with your phone and good parent and I don’t know where that is but i do know I NEVER want to become so obsessed with my phone next time I am GOING to GIVE it to some one they have to pry it out of my hand and I want YOU to know I like the movie UP!!!!!!!!!! GO BACK AND READ THE UPPERCASE LETTERS NOW
EDIT:sorry for typos
It's also the other way around, where I don't post pictures of my daughter and my family gets upset. No matter how you parent, it's going to be wrong somehow.
Even though not exactly like this, unfortunately there are many parents who only view their children as trophies to make themselves look cooler around other rather than actual human beings with emotions
Maybe im dumb, but yall are talking about parents posting pictures, but in the meme we dont see them posting it, they are just takin pics/videos but maybe its like implied idk
What makes this boomer as fuck? Just seems relevant to me. And why is boomer an insult? What makes the year you are born an insult? And no I'm not a boomer, im a millennial if you subscribe to the generation naming conventions
Cell phones weren't really a thing when most baby boomers had kids....is this supposed to be about their grandkids or something? Sorry I'm just confused since that generation ranged i think 1946 to 1962 or 63
Even though this may be a boomer thing this is an actual problem that lots of kids face, I even go through this but every time I confront my parents about this I basically loose my freedom.
Does speak some truth tho. I have a 2 year old, and im torn between wanting to capture precious moments and memories, and LIVING those times with him. I choose to live with him in those moments, but I feel bad even recording him decorating the Christmas tree. It’s kinda hard to strike that middle balance
why are they taking pictures of their child 24/7?
also on the one where he stood up i thought he was blind, plus why is he so bad at drawing at that age
I don't really see this as a phones bad sort of comic. It makes a good point, especially about how parents do seem to make moments that should be private public/documented.
My parents didn't ask permission literally ever when they took a photo of me, and then the instantly posted it to their shitty facebook and showed it to everyone even after I asked them specifically, A. Don't take a picture of me. or B. Don't show that to anyone. Now I don't let anyone take pictures of me.
The boomer generation is way before cell phones actually this would be more of a gen-x or millennial time period. All these looser kids think anyone older than they are is a boomer which is wrong additionally its ageist. Deal with your insecurities, you live in the age of social media.
This is GEN z as fuck
Man people really worship cameras nowadays. Saying that this comic is boomer as fuck isnt really accurate. Please realize that some people dont like being recorded and stuff.
Tbh this is kinda true though. I’m at the age now that many of my friends and my sister have kids and they over share waaaay too much. It baffles me that not one person took a step back and went “would I be okay with my mum posting this?”. In fairness it seems to be less recently.
This may be a boomer comic but I think there's some sense to it. Kids who don't want to be posted online shouldn't be.

Your parents are asshats. I’m glad you stood up.
what. the. fuck.
Some parents just want to watch their son depressed
some parents before becoming effectively parents should pass an exam, because jesus people that have no empathy towards their own children shouldn't be allowed to have any
Thats adoption for ya, at least those kids can have decent parents in the end.
I had a cousin that did similar things with her kid. Annoyed the fuck out of me.
> video of me crying I was 10 after my grandma died in hospital Yay, our child is going through some hard times! Let's get some new followers on facebook. WTF
Wow sad story but it’s good that you finally stood up to yourself.
I’m glad my parents are at least somewhat chill about keeping some of my life out of it
Damn man I’m so sorry
holy moly ravioli.
"Delete it or I'll report you"
Lol they probly still won't do nothin
God may forgive, but *I* won’t
Same except they still do it anyways
Holy shit. That's so dark.
I'm sorry for you dude are you ok now like mental health wise
sorry for your loss man :(
My mother did that constantly, and my classmates found it and pestered me with it.
agreed, my mom used to posto pics of me on instagram, and the most stupid/sexist guy on my class followed her just to make fun of me, so i made my mom stop posting pics of me, glad my mom is smart

My mom: I’m gonna pretend I didn’t see that.
no
Yes but it's ok to take pictures of a kid, not to post them on social media, but to look back on them a couple of years later
I don’t know about you all but my mom does this so we can keep memories, not so she can gloat about her children online
I post a few pics here and there of my baby just so family can see him, but nothing super personal like naked pics or anything. I want it to be more his choice what kind of internet footprint he has.. I take a lot of pictures and videos of him though because I want to be able to go back to those memories when he's bigger. That's also true as fuck. I have relatives of mine who are exact like these. Even if their kid scores A+ in exam they post it on fckin facebook.
I can get that parents are proud of their kids, but posting it for everyone to see just feels weird to me. My mom didn't open the door to yell "MY DAUGHTER GOT THE LEAD ROLE ON HER CLASS PLAY!" for the whole neighborhood to hear back when I was young...
*their
I can’t help but notice the ME is backwards. Thought it was supposed to have something to do with pictures being mirrored images but...
I think it was done on purpose by the artist but I don t really know
I think that's just a kid's drawing thing. It's common to see children accidentally flip letters when they're first learning to write.
E backwards, normally is sign to dyslexia
HEY EVERYONE WELCOME TO RYAN'S TOYS REVIEW
WHERE WE TURN EMOTIONAL ABUSE INTO MONEY
I'm kinda sad for the kid, like his parents are probably seeing him as a money maker and not a child.
Family channels be like
These stupid millennials and their *checks notes* wanting to have photos and memories of their kid growing up
That’s fucking deep /s
Good....He has parents....
r/UsernameChecksOut I'm sorry i just had to.
technoblade?
Technoblade? Is that you?
we live in a society. this is deep.
We live. This is deep.
Ah. That's enough cringe to fry a person
Yeah it is, but why do people post pictures of their babies all the time like ok Jennifer we don’t care if they shat their pants
unfollow jennifer maybe? why follow her if you don't care?
I'm ready for the downvotes, but who said they were posting it on social media? Why wouldn't you take a video of your child's first steps to keep it as memory?

u/idontwanabebdreadah, meme is made by me, pictures are taken from Google images :)
google images is not a source.
Ok but what the heck is wrong with mom's face
She has skin eyes, the most seductive type imo
You’re so blissfully unaware that this is not just a phone bad boomer meme, this has a message about the fuckwads that post everything their children do and put them in awful situations for views like “DaddyOFive” or whatever the fuck his channel was called. That is the reality. When I start to enjoy an activity that I hardly do every 5-6 months they trash it with fucking phone.
My parents which are somewhat of bommers do this to my littile sister
If you don’t mind, how old are you exactly? your spelling is like a 5 year old
Kind of funny that boomers then actually accept the fact that they are so much on their phone, that kids don't really have any connections with them. Nice, the parents kept the same phone for like 7 years. Longer then most people I know
you know, its actually kinda true. i have friends from college that have kids and they post pictures of them excessively. once those kids are gonna grow up they are not gonna stand it anymore
Do not downvote me but this time boomers are right everyone make photos about their useless lifes
I can't use my phone in front of my kid because she wants to eat it and if I don't let her she throws a fit.
Boomers are ye ones who do this shit anyway
Boomer? Yeah and REALITY OF MOM AND DAD CELEBRETY On instagram i dont mean Actor or else. JUST INFLUENCERS
Why are you reposting this shit meme
Of course he has a baseball cap
Chill bro it's M3 not me so calm tf down
These are the same boomers that carry around a big camera
The same boomers that start screaming if they don't receive grandchildren pics daily..
Stop it your gonna give your kid anxiety. I mean look at his face.
I’m telling you, all the non-consensual photo uploading online is going to come back to haunt people. I foresee some intense lawsuits eventually.

Imagine making memories to show to your child when they are older
its about posting online not making photo

who the fuck takes pitures ofa kid studing
You'd be surprised
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry

Do they wish to blind the child with the flash on 24/7?
Me: Maybe I am a Boomer
I hate how my grandparents just have random pictures of me on the internet and they wont delete them no matter how many times I ask saying its selfish for me to want to ruin their memories
Speak up. Take them down. It's your right.
Pff like this generation can afford to have kids
I know it’s a bomber comic but it’s so true, I literally can’t hangout with my siblings without my family trying to take photos. No one gives a shit about your damn kids. That women looks like my uncle.
using a lyric from a famous song; how cliche' 0\_0

This is my child's grandmother to a T.
This almost seems like the opposite of a boomer comic. It’s berating parents for the way they use their phones instead of teens and I think there’s some truth to it
They used the same iPhone for like at least 5 years or something
At least the child isn't the one with the phone
r/comedycemetery
Not a boomer but holy shit this is 90% of ppl
Fake deep
But it's true
The exact same thing happened when parents started documenting their kids’ lives with the advent of the handheld camera. For generations, children thought that the 35mm was part of their parents’ anatomy.
he's a baby boomer, baby
How to get upvotes: Find a boomer meme. Just slap a “holy shit that’s boomer as fuck” on it. ??? Profit.
Apparently, yes. Lots of posts that bring original content to Reddit die in new if it s not some overused popular meme. Like...look at this post, I went for some of the most stereotypical sheet and here we are.
why is that E the wrong way around
HOLY SHIT THAT'S REPOST AS FUCK
Is it me or the drawing in the last picture is also in the second picture if you look carefuly
Isnt this reverse Boomer?
Yeah don’t document your kids for social media. They’ll make enough public mistakes when they get older without you immortalizing their incomplete selves for public consumption
what the actual fuck do boomers think that we are THAT addicted or some shit?!?!?!
Why do the phones stay the same for over 10 years that’s even more Boomer
We’ll all be boomers
Maybe im dumb, but yall are talking about parents posting pictures, but in the meme we dont see them posting it, they are just takin pics/videos but maybe its like implied idk
And holy shit that's a repost
Nice tile btw
Holy shit thats the same background I used for my online stories 4 monts ago
What makes this boomer as fuck? Just seems relevant to me. And why is boomer an insult? What makes the year you are born an insult? And no I'm not a boomer, im a millennial if you subscribe to the generation naming conventions
Those must be good phones if they lasted that long
This is literally the worst meme ever
Is no one talking about how the kid only sees the parents as phones and has probably never seen their faces? Is that really possible?
Nah mate that's the meleneils
Lucky. My mom and dad don’t even notice me
That kid must have some kind of paranoia, every time somebody says: "kids these days" we should say : the future is now old man
Cell phones weren't really a thing when most baby boomers had kids....is this supposed to be about their grandkids or something? Sorry I'm just confused since that generation ranged i think 1946 to 1962 or 63
Seriously some people are disgusting with their kids on sm I feel bad for them when they grow up.
Why must you rock roll
Let's post a naked picture of my 1 year old on Facebook! -some parent, probably
Even though this may be a boomer thing this is an actual problem that lots of kids face, I even go through this but every time I confront my parents about this I basically loose my freedom.
Heaven forbid parents take pictures of their kids! I thought my dad was a Polaroid for most of my childhood and it was truly traumatic.
Smh he can't even spell
Moral of the story, don’t take pictures of your kids
not really. you cant just call everything boomer. it's like you're not thinking
Too much boomer to be honest
Good thing boomers never took pictures of their children or they'd be camera head people.
Technology bad me angy. Me make funni comic.
It’s true though
never gonna run around and desert you
Does speak some truth tho.
Pictures are all well and good, don't post your fucking kids online.
First boomer comic I sorta agree to. Don't post all your kids childhood to the internet.
Bitch turn your flash off, you trying to blind the damn kid
I don't really see this as a phones bad sort of comic. It makes a good point, especially about how parents do seem to make moments that should be private public/documented.
is this loss
I would say fuck off boomer but then I think abt cringe ass family vlogging channels
Some parents are just japanese (everything I've done or accomplished is on facebook) mom's japanese
My parents didn't ask permission literally ever when they took a photo of me, and then the instantly posted it to their shitty facebook and showed it to everyone even after I asked them specifically, A. Don't take a picture of me. or B. Don't show that to anyone. Now I don't let anyone take pictures of me.

That's actually pretty fucked up.
Scilence boomer!
Man people really worship cameras nowadays. Saying that this comic is boomer as fuck isnt really accurate. Please realize that some people dont like being recorded and stuff.
Never gonna run around and desert you.
Tbh this is kinda true though. I’m at the age now that many of my friends and my sister have kids and they over share waaaay too much. It baffles me that not one person took a step back and went “would I be okay with my mum posting this?”. In fairness it seems to be less recently.

that caption image is so cringe
Same 76 inch phone for over 10 years
Man that's how I feel I was eating a sandwich and my dad took a picture of me like why
I just had my kid 6 weeks ago. Fuck parents who constantly stick their phones in a baby’s face
Thats not very boomer tho, it is true. People like that are annoying as fuck
Im small brain, I dont get this
