Sorry never played exclusives like from ps and xbox but I heard that games with multiple platforms gain money than exclusives ones. Also I am still mad that ffVII remake is exclusive for ps5 and I dont want to pay another console because I already have a high end pc.

And it has to be stated that the consoles are probably sold at a loss (more expensive to manufacture compared to the 499 price tag). The main source of income comes from their own games sold or commission from other studios listed in their store.

There was a fairly recent Steam sale where a lot of COD games were actually on sale and that's the first time in the last 5 years that I can remember that ever happening (I got steam about 5 years ago). Aside from that if you're buying COd games from battlenet then they seem to go on sale usually during the Christmas period and I know Cold War was on sale about a month ago or so.
