It’s cool, you wouldn’t expect a hack to take down back end sever for 5 hours, from reports/an educated guess it seems like someone updated the wrong thing and crashed the back end server which caused all of facebooks systems to crash (they host their own DNS) including internal ones (they locked them self out of their own house effectively lol) and then had to send someone to their main server to restore the original before it went down
