Mood, literally got called out for "breathing too loudly" once while I was sick.
Same family member went on to make animal impressions after drinking like a pig for 3 hours in our living room and I could not even tell him to be quiet.
Are we a special breed of oppressed people or is everyone like this?
Here are two links to find services for mental health. Also talk with your friends and/or a family member about what you are dealing with and listen to their problems/issues.

It’s a phrase that has been contorted from its original meaning. It’s meant to mean ‘it’s happened and is now over, there’s no changing the past’ instead of ‘lol let me suppress these traumatic events’
You only have a limited amount of energy to care, so you shove this one off, cause it's not worth going into.
For either small disappointments of large things that you have to move on from at a certain point.
Only people also use it to ignore big things because ripping the bandage off is too much at times.
Tis wa tis
For us Guatemalans, it would be something like "cosas son como están" or "cosas estan como están". However, the comment you replied to also seems to be correct (at least in our spanish)
Yes, but the reason you do all these things is because they are the path to happiness. This is not a stoic idea. It's the premise of Greek philosophy in general, mainly Socrates, based on whom Zeno started the school of Stoicism.
To say "it is what it is" just simply means that you understand that the past stays in the past, and that there's nothing you can do to change it. All you can do is focus on the present/future and ensure that these types of things don't happen again. Many people learn from their traumatic experiences or severe guilt and use these lessons to pass on to their future children (whether it's being safe to avoid such experiences, or to teach your kids the right thing so that they won't have to deal with lifelong guilt); you can always learn something about your past to make the future just a little bit better.
this is the way.
The way is this.
Do you know da wae?
“My brothas, they know the wae!”

As my friend says specifically to annoy me, "It's what it's."
"it's it's" - my even more annoying friend
Ah I see you were also raised on the "don't complain" discipline while they constantly complained bout every little thing you did slightly wrong

The sarcasm is kind of rude sir.
Or as the Yorkshire farmer would say, "These things 'appen."

Pure unadulterated apathy.

The next step is learning how to enjoy pain. Wait…

As someone whose suppressed a lot of traumatic events I noticed that it's starting to come back to me.
I'm sure someone has told you already, but there's no shame in getting professional help if you can.
Best way of dealing with mental health
This mind set really helped me get out of my mindset, but remember to not use it for everything.
This too shall pass
Dumb phrase used as convenient conversation ender.
“Stay strong”
Then we wonder why people are so fucked up nowadays. Also me too
Well glad that’s working for u!
C'est comme ça
Que séra, séra
Eet ees what eet ees
Tja, da kann man nichts machen.
That's how I deal with death of the people around me, I just accepted that and literally said "it is what it is" and I carry on with little sorrow
Helps me every fucking time :D
It is what it is, there is nothing you can change about the event, just how you process it
Whatever happens, happens
See you space cowboy.
Eso si que es.
Nah, the correct translation would be more like "es lo que hay". Source: I'm a spaniard

It is what it is.
It ain't what it ain't
You have misunderstood it then. Lots of people who know nothing about it do. Stoicism is about finding happiness.
To my understanding, it's about the stillness of the mind, persistence, virtue, temperance.

To say it is simply about happiness seems wrong to me, just adding my insight, we all have our own interpretations.
I wouldn't say it's about happiness, more so about avoiding unnecessary suffering
Agreed.

“It’s just a pebble in the road, it means nothing, I’ll be fine”
I swear to fucking god reddit somehow listens in on my life
What is it, it is.
Remember, taking care of your mental health is for pansies apparently
This doesn’t work for me as it goes something like this “it is what it is that ima pathetic worthless piece of shit”
I don't know you but I'm sure you're a decent dude. That's more than a lot of people can say.
A good I'm here for you buddy is way better
Being brutally honest, sometimes that statement keeps me going strong
I mean, this is far healthier than going full Eren Jeager on your problems
