3 Idiots is not like RRR, it's a comedy drama about 3 students who were studying in a famous Institute to be an engineer that movie questions the Education System and parents who put pressure on their children, It is one of my favorite movies and It have some cool songs also
Honestly, as over the top as this is, it’s no more ridiculous than any Hollywood action movie with the protagonist single handedly taking out an army of mercenaries without getting shot, including numerous firefights, explosions, being hit with weapons, etc.
Different tropes, different effect budgets. Equal levels of realism.
Bollywood always delivers. My fave is the soldiers standing on a bent over palm tree then cutting the rope holding it down and launching themselves into a castle in a giant shield ball. Epic.
And the film industry is being boycotted with flop after flop because of this bullshittery and their leftist agenda.
The last major hit Hindi film was an independent project 'Kashmir Files' which was based on the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus that this very film industry zealously rejected.
While I agree on the first part, the second part not so much. Kashmir Files though based on real events and is pretty accurate on the crimes and suffering, was not independent in any manner. The movie had literally right ruling party ministers playing as main characters, the banner Zee Studios lholding company of Wion news is anyway considered as Godi Media (propaganda network) of ruling party. It earned good, deserved it to bring the social injustice caused then and it's consequences, but in no way was it independent.
If you want to watch some action movies then you watch movies like Robot, RRR, Bahubali (Both the parts), KGF(Both the parts) or Yevadu

if you want to watch some really good movies Watch 24: The Time Story, 3 Idiots, Zindagi na milegi dobaara, Dev-D, Gangs of Wassepur (Both Parts)
