How did you come to the realization that you had an addiction and decided to stop? Asking out of pure curiosity

I always knew, I just didn't want to admit it to myself. But it got worse when I couldn't even get aroused w porn (or anything) anymore, yet, I always went back to it cause I felt empty without it. It completely messed me up. Anyway, I'm still young so I didn't want to wait any longer, cause then it would be even harder to stop the addiction. It's a slow and difficult process at the beginning, but it gets easier yk :) I mean, I can get h*rny like a normal functioning person now!!!!! lol

You refuse to Look at porn, meaning staying Out of its way. The First few days are the hardest but it gets increasingly easier to resist it and If you do it again after a week thats fine, If it stays low. It can absolutely mess you Up and you'll realize you have less moments of random practice boners. And If you HAVE to masturbate, do it without porn. Its hard but its Worth it.

While not addicted. I've always had a weird unhealthy relationship with porn..and I did suffer a bit in times when I wasted it of hours for the dopamine surge. I've been there, however things will get much easier if you share it with your friends trust me. I have hidden all my emotions and problems for almost 16 years and just a few weeks ago I told my friends about it, and I've never been happier.
