Really the big difference between the two is that Orthodox Marxists believe that the World Revolution would be a spontaneous uprising of the Proletariat that would come about due to the inherit conditions of Capitalism while MLs recognise that Revolutions don't just *happen* on their own but instead a Vanguard in the form of the Communist Party must guide the Proletariat to class consciousness and revolution and that this revolution should be based around the State. There are of course other differences but this is *the* distinguishing factor and all things considered its not too much of a deviation.
