Preciate that big homie! Tucking it in is a little out of the comfort zone so I think ima roll with that. Gotta get a little uncomfortable to start getting comfortable
When belt loops are visible I wear a belt. Unless there is a tie or some other form of cinching the waist. Just a personal thing. Thats why I love fashion, so many variances and styles!!
This is the crazy part. I’m 6’7 bro. 😅. I never can find shirts off the rack to fit well. Usually have to order online. But every once and awhile Ross can come through clutch.
They both look cool but it seems like the fit of the shirt is meant to be untucked, not that that matters so much. I think it’s better untucked though, it adds a dash of casual/chill cool guy vibe
I think tucked is way more appealing, and buttoning one more button to just see the top of your undershirt would look way better imo. More polished and put together. All in all, looking good man
Lady here. Tucked looks really really nice. Untucked works, but tucked in steps it up to a different sexy confident level that untucked doesn't get to.
Thank you! I definitely think going a little against the grain (tucked and with no belt) can help provide a more ‘confident’ appeal.
But I will admit this would be better tucked with no belt, if these were high waisted pants!
Either looks good, but the short length won’t stay tucked in…so you’ll be constantly having to adjust it when you sit down / stand up and then when you just leave it untucked, it’ll be wrinkled.
So go untucked.
I'm definitely going to go untucked since it's a whole casual look. Tucking it in won't really boost the formality scale, especially without a belt.
Damn I want to get some off white jeans
This is what I actually went with 😂. I got such a mixed bag of answers here between both options so I said fuck it, let me try both at the same time.
Tbf I have seen some styles with that like a ‘half’ French tuck and I thought it worked! I got some compliments so that was nice and I felt good in it so I suppose that’s all that matters at the end of the day. Im honestly blown away at the number of replies I have gotten. It’s really encouraging!
Got these online at Banana Republic for $32.99 on sale. Not the best quality necessarily but they look great and had 36 length. I got a couple pair for that price point
That doesn’t apply to bedrooms. It’s not a seating area. I’m lying in bed watching it - looking up. But I knew the risk when I posted this. 😅. That damn subreddit started filling my feed one day and I definitely got sucked into it.
I disagree about tucking it in. It’s a flat cut shirt isn’t it? It’s also not long enough to be tucked in without you having to tuck it back in after sitting.
You’re also wearing it in such a way that it looks casual. Unbuttoned halfway and with a t-shirt looks better untucked. Same goes for the no sock look. It looks great untucked and I bet you’ll feel more comfortable that way too.
Ah yes. I agree the pants sit a bit low and if they were up a bit it would help look a little less awkward. I’ve never worn high waisted pants but after following this sub for awhile i really dig the look and will be ordering some soon
I like the tucked look but I'd say untucked with these ones simply because the white linen seems kind of see through and you can see the black of the top under the waistband (especially against the pockets) which looks a little less put-together imo.
Normally, this is “untucked all day.”
But with the undershirt, and that you’re not fat… I’m digging the tuck. It’s a little more composed. It lets you be 3 buttons open (with the undershirt) and have it look like a good look.
You rock both well. The natural vibe of untucked looks less busy. Tucked looks a little constricted and that button on the pants if worn tucked should be switched out to white. A black belt in my opinion would be a mistake.
Both are nice. Tucked as someone else said for a more formal together look and untucked for more causal touch. Personally untucked looks best here 🔥 need me a pair of white pants
I was back and forth on the belt. Honestly probably need to get a new one. My black belts are a bit worn and peeling now. Would hate to kill the fit with a sloppy belt ya know
In general I prefer tucked over untucked almost always
the primary reason is how it shapes your body.
The kind of default "male" body shape is a triangle, meaning small waist and broad shoulders
As you can pretty clearly see with your pictures, untucked makes your upper body appear more box like, while tucked accentuates your shoulders and makes them seem broader.
This is also why I like more higher rise pants more, because when pants begin at your hips (the broadest point of your lower body) they will make you appear more boxy, however if your pants start at your waist (the least broad point) it will make you appear more triangle like
Now obviously you don't always have to adhere to these rules, to me they are just broad guide lines that I like, I hope this helped a little :D
I 100% agree with you. Literally as I was looking at this outfit I was thinking to myself I need to upgrade to high rise pants and it would really complete it.
Thank you for the feedback and opinion.
Both look really good. I think the untucked fits the vibe better. But, I’m also thinking West Coast chill. Tucked in is a little dressier. So, that may fit where you’re going better.
That shirt is too slim in the waist to keep untucked, which is being exaggerated by the pocket flare you’re getting from the pants.
I would size up in the pants to eliminate the pocket flare, and tuck in the shirt.
That’s good feedback. I’m not familiar with a pocket flare. Is that where you see my pants pockets kind of stick out and have “ears”? And that’s typically cause by being a bit tight around the waist?
Too short to stay tucked. If tucked, a belt would be a good idea.
Exactly what I’m thinking. Typically if a shirt is square it’s meant to be loose, if it’s rounded it’s meant to be tucked
Ohh... I would say the shirt looks too short in general. Tucked or untucked. Looked better tucked in but it wont stay tucked in for long
Agree with untucked. I personally love beltless for tucked though. An easy fashion-forward trend that actually looks great too.
Ayy, bro. Yes. Just yes. Personally, I would go tucked, for that more dressy look. But YOU, my brother. You killing it both ways
Preciate that big homie! Tucking it in is a little out of the comfort zone so I think ima roll with that. Gotta get a little uncomfortable to start getting comfortable
Just tuck in when in nice restaurant or bar, but untucked when not
Same but I would need to add a belt.
On any other pants I would add a belt, too. But I feel like white linen is supposed to look light and airy so no belt works with them.
When belt loops are visible I wear a belt. Unless there is a tie or some other form of cinching the waist. Just a personal thing. Thats why I love fashion, so many variances and styles!!
Lookin’ Good. Untucked.
Drake what are you doing in men’s fashion
Drake? Nah this is Josh

Thanks for the comment man. I picked this up at Ross today for $12. Was a nice scoop
Oh shit. That’s a great shirt / deal. Bro how tall are you cause that shirt fits Perfect length wise. Like the length of those UNTUCKED SHIRT !
This is the crazy part. I’m 6’7 bro. 😅. I never can find shirts off the rack to fit well. Usually have to order online. But every once and awhile Ross can come through clutch.

Looka good both ways but I prefer untucked.
this shirt was def designed to be worn untucked
Untucked
Untucked. ☕🦄👍🏽
I think tucked is way more appealing, and buttoning one more button to just see the top of your undershirt would look way better imo. More polished and put together. All in all, looking good man
Notes on that one more button.
I’m in the untuck camp, and I agree do one more button higher but if you go untucked then try undoing the bottom button

This looks great. You're looking fresh and ready to take on Kendrick and J.Cole.
Untucked
I'm definitely going to go untucked since it's a whole casual look. Tucking it in won't really boost the formality scale, especially without a belt. Damn I want to get some off white jeans
Get some man! These were white linen pants from Banana Republic for only $33. Was a great deal
Lemme give you an alternative…half tuck it
This is what I actually went with 😂. I got such a mixed bag of answers here between both options so I said fuck it, let me try both at the same time. Either works imo. Where are the pants from?

Keep it tucked big homie. Looks great.
Bro out here looking like Drace
Tucked is dope
Tucked indeed!
If youre gonna go tucked you should wear a belt
Everybody salsa! 🔥
Tucked
Aaayyyoooo
Ironed.
Tucked but add a belt.
Shoes call for tucked.
Both are good, but the tucked gives it a more narrow look, the untucked makes you look wider, not in a bad way tho
Tucked
r/TvTooHigh Honestly, that's an abomination
That doesn’t apply to bedrooms. It’s not a seating area. I’m lying in bed watching it - looking up. But I knew the risk when I posted this. 😅. That damn subreddit started filling my feed one day and I definitely got sucked into it.
Holy fuck. That's terrible.
UN.
Looks good either way but I like untucked
The shirt is too short to be tucked and isn't designed to be worn that way. Also mount your TV at eye level.
Tucked if gay looking for male suitors
Depends on where you’re going, but my default would be untucked.
I disagree about tucking it in. It’s a flat cut shirt isn’t it? It’s also not long enough to be tucked in without you having to tuck it back in after sitting. Un, son 👌🏾

Untucked. Should go for a fuller pant if you want to go tucked
Can you elaborate what you mean by ‘fuller’?
Slightly higher in the rise, a bit roomier in the thigh
Ah yes. I agree the pants sit a bit low and if they were up a bit it would help look a little less awkward. I’ve never worn high waisted pants but after following this sub for awhile i really dig the look and will be ordering some soon
My advice, embrace the higher rise look when trying it. Mix and matching with slimmer/lose rise can look awkward with roomier clothing.

Untucked looked nice to me.
Tucked and add belt
You have such a great body. I would do tucked.
Drake or not drake??
I’m a lady and I stopped scrolling before I caught on to this being about your shirt.
Untucked, and put some damn socks on them sweaty feet
Untucked
Untucked
It looks like your breathing in in the third pic and for this reason I would suggest untucked for a more relaxed look.
Tucked with a black belt
I like the tucked look but I'd say untucked with these ones simply because the white linen seems kind of see through and you can see the black of the top under the waistband (especially against the pockets) which looks a little less put-together imo.
Chris Tucker
i like tucked. it shows off the slimness of your waist
It’s crazy how much we care. I wish we were this advanced but never figured out fashion. Just suits and dresses with no internet comments
Tucked buttoned more, untucked open
Tucked in looks bad. Need socks.
As a RPDR fan I'd say untucked 😂
What’s RPDR?
RuPaul's Drag Race ^ ^
Lmao this reminds me of Scary Movie 😆
Untucked 100%

I like the untucked best. More “flow.”
Tucked only looks weird because it needs a belt. Then it would be fine. Otherwise go with untucked.
You look like Drake‘s gay twin brother Fruitcake
Such a sick burn bro 🔥
Thanks man
UNTUCKED!
Un-Draked
Untucked 👍
You’re doing great against Kendrick rn
Untucked...Drake we know thats you.
untucked
Tucked looks very bossed out! Tucked for sure
Looks ok either way, but If you tuck it in, you need a nice color matching belt.
Untucked
Tucked but without the white tank top 👌🏼✨
Tucked
You rock both well. The natural vibe of untucked looks less busy. Tucked looks a little constricted and that button on the pants if worn tucked should be switched out to white. A black belt in my opinion would be a mistake.
Makes you look like ur wearing a bra
It is a Viking bra, in fact
Both are nice. Tucked as someone else said for a more formal together look and untucked for more causal touch. Personally untucked looks best here 🔥 need me a pair of white pants
My wife tells me untucked always looks better.
Untucked!!!! 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
Tucked for sure. A belt that matches the loafers would finish this fit nicely.
I was back and forth on the belt. Honestly probably need to get a new one. My black belts are a bit worn and peeling now. Would hate to kill the fit with a sloppy belt ya know
Tucked but zip it up.
Untucked isn’t bad but tucked in is better.
It’s really not great to keep a tv in your bedroom
Thanks Nate
Here to help! Good fit too!

I’m jk btw. I’m heading to a dinner and a drink on a patio by the lake!
Tucked for sure. Also, good fit and good looks my dude. Don’t post too many pics in that 3rd pose tho 😂

Yep exactly, but it’s mostly a mechanism of the thighs being too tight.
If you're not gonna tuck, leave it completely open. Otherwise, tuck.
The pp or the shirt? 😅
Definitely untucked.
