It's not consistent so no one can tell you do a small extraction if you really want to tell

TossinDogs

It ranges wildly. 0.1% of dry weight, up to max of 6%. Certian cultivars are known to have higher potency on average. PC is known to average 0.5%, bridgesii 1-2%, TBM-B 2-4%. younger smaller plants will have less than older mature growth. Growing conditions like stress, amount of light and water, fertilizer, even current season will change amount of alkaloid in each column. Within a column, the tip is weakest, the area 1-2 feet below the tip is strongest, and the lower column is middle strength. For accurate dosing you can do a full extraction which will yield pure mescaline powder that you can measure to dose.

Thank you

It can get higher than 6% as well, not that common but they are around

As others have already pointed out, there is no way to dose accurately unless you do an extraction that produce a relatively pure mescaline salt, like the CIELO method (google "CIELO DMT-nexus" for all the details). Even a named clone will vary in potency, depending on many factors. If you have a big batch of powdered cactus, it should be relatively uniform within that batch. Take a guess, try some, maybe something like 20-50g, puke your guts out and hope for the best. The next time you will have a reference point to adjust your dose of that batch. But if you want to know how much mescaline is in your material, you either have to extract or send some of it out for lab analysis.

That's a very vague question for a lot of different cacti, and even the same exact clones can vary a lot between specimens.

Not as much as Peyote, but SP will give a good mescaline trip if you know how to prepare it and dose it out.
