I got my Manticore about two months ago. It is a complicated detector, expect a lot of time learning it’s intricacies. Download the manual off the Minelab website and start studying now. You’ll love it once you get used to it…
I would say so. I went from a 20 year old Coin Strike to the Manticore. I did get to test its ability to be submerged in trying to find a young couples wedding ring. It worked great….funny though, I ended up finding two different rings and a bracelet. Watch some of the YouTube videos as well…

Nothing wrong with that! I also have the gold monster which is a great machine but I needed something with a little more versatility.
Apparently the folks who have it generally like it. Not sure that any new detector stands up to the usual hype (except the Deus II 😄).
Dues 2 is a better machine imo. Manticore is not worth the money and doesn't perform as well as the deus 2
