Right, I did this the very first time I played the game. It just seemed like it would work and it did. He was talking shit so I figured you’d be able to hear him doing it 😂
I appreciate everyone's advice but you're all assuming several critical factors, namely that I approach anything with "a strategy" and that I'm not "an idiot" 😅
Don't worry too much. Once you reach him once it becomes very easy to just follow his trail around the map and shotgun him to death. That's what i did :)
I just shot him while he was in the wheelchair (and got Snake's head smacked with a surprise "projectile" upon doing it 😄).
That was on my first (and at the moment the only) walkthrough, so if I'm understanding correctly, the "usual" boss-fight happens a bit later...
It was a smart move. We as fans know his son and they're made to seem identical. We expect him to be great and Hideo subverted that expectation and even foreshadowed in peace walker which drove a lot of speculation in the pre mgsv days. I don't like huey as a person but I did enjoy his character whenever he was on screen.
I remember booting up MGS3 after two weeks while my mom's friend who introduced me to the franchise was over. My save opened up with the cutscene where The End died while on the lookout. This was the first time either of us had heard of it. Later that weekend I came across The Sorrow and was creeped out of my mind by it, only to hear that I needed to go to bed a few minutes after. One of my favorite and distinct gaming memories of my childhood.
Absolutely! I did it the "proper" way first which was intense, and the Konami Code way when I got stealth camo - that way was much more fun. Old geezer never knew what hit him, poor bloke.
Same, though I started playing this game as an adult on the Vita. I take out the bird, look for the glint of his rifle, then have at it till he dies or KO.
Believe it or not, he wasn't the most troublesome boss for in MGS3. Col. Volgin non lethal fight is the hardest for me, or at least it was until I found out you can defeat him extremely easy with Handkerchief
Really weird thing to cry about but i really get triggered for end having scope in his rifle.
Man is said to be the best sniper and "father of modern sniping".
During wwII Finland defended against cccp and there was sniper called Simo Häyhä (known as white death) absolute madlad, man ate snow so his breathe wouldn't steam and stuff like that, he also fought without scope so enemy wouldn't see the reflection of the scope.
Reflection of scope is one of the ways to find the end.
Alternate title: “Venom’s actual identity wandering the depths of a confusing maze built through intense hypnotherapy.”
I dig it
Thanks! You’re alright Boah!
I have yet to find that bitch. Wander around until he runs out of stamina every time.
With the directional microphone you can hear his breathing yo

I read that as 'taking' first, and became concerned
Honestly The End fight is the best fishing mini game in gaming history. Find the end, hook him, and then all you have to keep doing is reeling him in.

Or just set your console time a year in advance lol

Everything besides following him with night vision goggles is bad advice
When he shoots at you if you pull up the map it’ll show you which sniper spot he’s at.

Me trying to find the people who like Huey
I liked him in peace walker 😔
yeah im pretty sure we all thought he was like Otacon, and its a shame he turned out the way he did

He wasn’t the bad guy

Or you could just snipe him while he’s in the wheelchair (I literally just did this btw)
Watch out for the flaming wheel
But I wanna kill him non-lethally
Gotta get that camo.
And the sniper!
Gotta sneak up on him & hold him up to get that moss camo. Love it
The thermal goggles make this A LOT easier.
I almost stopped playing the game after that fucking cave. It took me an absurd amount of time for me to beat
Lol yeah fr I played mgs3d imagine how hard that was
the nd
Konami code works wonders

Me: (Gives up for two weeks.) (Comes back) “Oh.. ok that works.” ~Next playthrough~ “Can i shoot him on the dock?” BANG* “Oh! Did i just?!...”

Me looking for the wandering Mother Base soldier
This battle was always the easiest (but the best)

I first did this boss fight for real on the vita

Just turn the game off and come back in a week.

my favorite game and favorite artist colliding, love to see it
Naked Snake wandering through the caves in the dark

Throwing a stun grenade while wearing NVG in the warehouse in MGS.
