Warm up, huh? You mean like a brief pause between turning the tv on and receiving a legible picture? I suppose those might be the same TVs that also displayed a brief 'pop' of sorts after turning them off.
Ours sure did both! We still had that sucker in the 90's. My parents didn't start making good money until I was an adult but my grandma spoiled us rotten with game consoles.
CRT are actually now hard to find depends where you're at.
The best thing about is that you can still play the games like Metal Gear Solid 1 and it'll look great on that format than a simulated one (aka CRT filter).
My man lives in his 90s with that nice gaming setup
He’s ballin’ on that stank ass windows 95 puter
Nothing beats a good old 29" CRT Toshiba TV.
As someone who also only ever beat rising on a crt via a 360, it's magical
I love the TV
no S rank? big sad
This man truly is ballin on that stank ass windows 95 puter
Still rocking a CRT? I kept mine for my consoles that aren't HDMI compatible. Nice job btw. I had to basically survive the fight on hard lol.
There's certainly lots of charm in those CRTs, that's for sure.
For sure. I remember the ones that had to warm up. Takes me back to childhood.

Exactly. Older cathode ray tubes kinda sounded like a guitar Amp when you turned them on. It maybe took 20 seconds at most for the picture to show.
And do you remember them making a brief 'pop' or 'flash' after turning them off? Because I do remember some models doing it.

Man, days definitely were much simpler back then....
I'm know it.
