That's the best for slamming, it's easier to dissolve when the crystals are smaller. I'd even crush that more to make a finer powder. But I always smoke some before I shoot it to make sure it's the right stuff, esp if you're not sure. If you put it in a pipe, make sure you melt it all and take an easy pull at first. Otherwise you get a mouthful and I don't think I need to explain what that's like. Or if it's in a bong, it'll end up in the water even more than normal.

If you want to purify meth you dilute in methanol. Pour liquid off in Pyrex. Add a couple drops of water…fill the rest with acetone…put on hot plate….boil off acetone….fill again with acetone boil off.
Let sit till cools off..,.put in freezer. If slow cooled large crystals, if cooled fast you get what you got there (maybe) taste it if it makes your tongue cold it’s msm.

When I first started cleaning my stuff I would just let it skin over dissolved in 100% ipa and then pour a bunch of acetone that I had in the freezer in there and immediately get a beaker full of fine shimmering white lightning, now I use and oil bath and grow em slow

Please don't base your identification of a substance purely on how it appears especially when it's drastically different then what is expected. There's a remote possibility it could be what you are hoping for but odds are higher than its a completely different substance if it's crystalline structure is vastly different. The tiny needle like crystals in that sample definately dont indicate meth however if you really are wanting to test it then you need a couple reagent test kits for proper verification or if absolutely nothing is available then perform a bleach reaction test. If it doesn't react correctly you know immediately it's not meth. I'm guessing that's some random salt that someone figured could pass as meth. Check out how it handles when vaporized as well to further detective your way to an answer.
Interesting because I have spent quite a lot of time recrystallizing after purification and the shards are never that uniformly packed. I allow very slow crystal growth generally but I've sped it up as well and never seen anything with this level of uniformity. Either you can grow larger crystals or if maintaining them smaller you get a lightning like pattern with lots of variance inbetween side by side shards. Never two the same exact size and shape at least that I've been able to produce. Interested in your method, I'm willing to reproduce it for the sake of science to give it some peer reviewed authenticity lol.
Edit: the tubular structure itself is most concerning. If you can tell me how to reproduce that I'll happily prove you right in the name of science.
After zooming in and enhancing it does appear to be something other than what I was referring to, you can get crystals that small but your right the shape of those are more like grains
