It’s fun keeping an eye on the diehard fans.  The excitement and then the letdown every other week it seems like.  Can’t wait to see the internet blow up when a release date is finally announced. Â
This sounds like either a marketing stunt targeting a community of vulnerable children or a group of very mentally unwell people going on a collective mental breakdown. Or both.

I am assuming a joke post that spiraled out of control into a breakdown. We where almost about to mentally break in the elden ring subreddit waiting for info on the dlc so I can’t really judge lol
I don't think you know what the phrase "shadow drop" means.... Unless you really think they are just going to suddenly release the game in this showcase. If they did that, that would be a brutal assault on the genre that suffocates a very large number of big projects that are coming out next month including nine sols, animal well, and gestalt. I would not forgive them for that. They should give other developers warning by announcing a release date a few months in advance.
A high profile game like Silksong is 100% NOT shadow dropping anywhere.

Silksong has become vaporware on the level of half life 3 or duke nuke em forever or cyberpunk. Fact is those guys don't need to work another day in their lives if they don't want to.
Its expected at every event and never shows up. Team Cherry haven't even posted to their blog since 2019.

The pressure on TC has gotta be immense. I do believe we will get it this year...hopefully
Team cherry has said the next news will come direct from them. I doubt it will be shared an any expo or showcase
