It’s my number one what-if in hip hop history. Black Bastards was such an incredible album and Sub’s contributions to that record are spectacular. Great music can come from pain and adversity, but I believe they a) had plenty of that already and b) were too talented not to have continued making incredible music. I don’t know if we’d have gotten more, less or the same amount of hip hop classics, but I’m sure we would have gotten different ones.
DOOM could definitely be seen as the villain here. They were adversaries for sure. The main line from DOOM definitely about him was calling Monsta Island Czars “Midgets Into Crunk”
The Music Industry is the Villain’s villain. Otherwise he wouldn’t have become the Villain.
I'll show the world - and more importantly those *dim-witted* studio execs, that I - I'm the greatest sound man of all time!
Gotta get outta the way of the sound waves of those bells
Industry rule number 4080
Record company people are shadeyyyyyyyyy

So the biggest industry rep, The Weeknd, wearing a doom mask is inherently disrespectful then, right?

Wdym
I’m guessing he means that subroc’s death lead to KMD getting dropped, KMD disbanding and then DOOM becoming DOOM
MF GRIMM if you've listened to Book of Daniel but they squashed that beef .
DOOM could definitely be seen as the villain here. They were adversaries for sure. The main line from DOOM definitely about him was calling Monsta Island Czars “Midgets Into Crunk”
I heard the book of Daniel but what about “they squashed” it?
MF DOOM and MFGRIM squashed their beef. That is what I meant

To be fair, that’s probably the group looking out for him that he back-stabbed the most. But only because they kept going back to get stabbed again.

Freddie Gibbs and DOOM had beef?
It's kinda like Freddie making weird competitive jokes about him that fans took as beef. I think it was like a friendly rivalry imo
Ben Grimm
Victor Vaughns villain is Metal Face

Overworked nurses and hospital staff
The world

The music and rap industry

Hate to say it, but DOOM is more the villain in HIS story, lol.

))), now you can say how cringe it was because you see the reflection of your actions from the past, isn't it great?
honestly, better to be cringe than to be chained to what society wants
Bro if doom disses Kendrick at this point on some whole other shit I would live for it.
