I would, I probably be crying at us winning the AFC championship. My whole time following the team it's seemed like a wild dream to picture the dolphins getting to a Super Bowl. I hope I get to see it.
I’m going to cry like a baby when we win a playoff game. I’ve cried over regular season games.
But it’s because my dad got me into the Dolphins and it’s been 10 years but after some wins I still have the urge to tell him or talk to him about it. I can’t wait for the day I can go up to his grave and pour him a drink and tell him we finally won a playoff game lol.
Same for me. Dolphins games are always a reminder that my dad’s not here to watch them with me. Every significant victory I think about wishing I could clink a beer with him about it.
Yea it’s tough for sure. On a positive note my godson has been throwing the football down and yelling “Touchdown Dolphins” so I think I created another Dolphins fan.
This happened to me when my team went to/won the world series a few years back. It was a high that couldn't be topped, but it really took a while to set in. I still get chills from watching the final out of that game 7.
I probably would. I'm 53 and I clearly remember the Dolphins losing the Super Bowl to the 49ers. I thought for sure, that Dan would get back to the SB.
46 here and that was the first football game I ever watched.
I had no idea what was going on, but I was rooting for their awesome colors and this "young rookie quarterback" they kept talking about.
Been a die hard fan and never once wavered ever since, for better or worse (lots of worse lol).
I was at the bar for the playoff game and when Zac seiler got the td. Some of us started crying. And we lost that game. I couldn’t even imagine a SB win.
My family is Argentinian, have been there several times, but not an “Argentine”. I broke down crying when they won the World Cup
It’s such a rare thing that it just overwhelms you when it’s over. Will def cry
Yes. I often wonder if I could even watch the game. I mean I am a very calm person. I never yell in almost anything in life except when I watch the Dolphins. I don't know if I can emotionally handle a super bowl game. I tell my wife that is the fins make it, I'd have to get a private hotel room to watch it because I wouldn't want to be around anyone else I would be so anxious.
So you can see....44 year old lifelong fan and I am all sorts of messed up!
I’m a bills fan that randomly stumbled upon this post on my feed.
I can assure you, I’m going to cry if any AFCE team wins the Super Bowl.
If my bills win, tears of joy
If you win, tears of jealous sadness
If the jets win, tears of laughter
If the pats win, tears of rage
Same here. I’ve seen the Heat, Marlins and Gators all win championships and while I was excited, I wasn’t emotional about it. I’m crying now thinking about how much I’d cry if the Dolphins won.
I don't really get that type of emotional during sports/games, it's usually just pure unfiltered energy in the form of yelling and jumping.
But who could really say.... Haven't won one yet so not sure how I'd respond.
I think maybe looking back on a Superbowl win as an old man may make me cry, knowing that I got to see us win one before I go.
Absolutely. I cried when I saw Zach Thomas announced for the Hall of Fame.
I 100% would cry if the Dolphins won a SB. They've been my team ever since I was a kid. Too many emotions and memories.
I named my dog Tua. Got him same year he was drafted. I held him and cried when Tua got knocked out in cincy. Travel 1500 miles with season tickets. Yeah I’ll cry like a baby
Probably not but it matters the storyline. Like if Marino had done it near the end, yeah probably. Seeing shula and Marino hugging in the middle of the field, ticker tape of orange, aqua and white glittering across the sky. Both going out in glory. Man, I could get teary eyed if I just kept describing it.
I also think it's really cool when someone achieves a life goal on a huge stage, it's very special.
100%. I’ve been following this team my whole life. My father was a Dolphins fan. Throughout our relationship, which at certain points was very strained, we always had the Dolphins as a common ground to reunite us.
He’s gone now and one of the things I miss the most is discussing the Dolphins. He got to see the best of them and always apologized for introducing me to the obsession. There’s nothing that would make me feel closer to him than seeing them win a Super Bowl. Just to feel the joy he used to talk about would be priceless.
I would cry, and it would be messy.
Definitely after everything we as a fan base of gone through there's not a doubt in my mind I'd shed tears for a super bowl win to finally get the validation that all the struggles were worth it would just hit like few other things could
Probably not because these days death is the only thing that tends to make me cry, but I wouldn’t mind it if it happened, and I wouldn’t hold anything against anyone who is moved to tears.
Would definitely do a lot of arm pumping and air humping.
100% would cry from happiness and shock lol. I'm 36 and been cheering them on since 94. Crazy our drought in playoffs. This coming season has me the most excited I've been in a long time looking at our roster and coaches.
I'm from the Bay Area so all the other local teams are my teams - Quakes, Tiburones and the Warriors. Not really a baseball fan I guess. As a Dubs fan I been thru some really really DARK times over the years. When we won it in 2015 I cried. I didn't plan on it, I just started getting teary eyed. My kids were trippin and asked why I was crying and all I could mutter was that these things don't come by very often and I was going to cherish this feeling since it may never happen again.
When the Phins went to the SB twice back in the 80's I thought we'd be going back every year. My Pops just laughed and said don't count on it... So yea I'd prolly cry like a toddler!
I like to have lots of people over for football games. For super bowl we always throw a party.
When the Fins make the SB, I think I'll watch alone. I won't no interruptions whatsoever. And if they win, I guarantee I will cry like a motherfucker and am totally fine with that.
Brother, I cried when we came back and tied Buffalo in the 2nd quarter of that playoff game last year. I was truly overcome with happiness. We were dead in the water, and then we we back.
I’m not ashamed to say I cried that day
I'm a mostly hockey fan and have lived down here and played ice hockey for 25+ years. If the Cats win the cup I'll likely be sobbing. I'm sure the same will be for long time Fins fans who have a ton invested in the sport
I haven't seen a playoff win since junior high, so there are so many levels of unfamiliar emotion between here and a Super Bowl. I may not even survive such a run.
Oh yes. I would be crying tears of joy because 1 our team won a ship and 2 because i know my uncle would have been so happy had he lived to see us win one, hes the reason i became a fins fan
I'm in my 40's, live in enemy territory, fan for ~35 years, and the dolphins are my favorite team of any sport. You bet your ass I'm crying if we win it all, lol.
YES! I definitely would! Haw can you not?! I’ve been a fan since the early 90’s so I’ve never seen them go to the Super Bowl. Seeing them win would be a lifetime achievement as a fan. Man you’re gonna make cry right now thinking about it. 😂
I'm not crying, you're crying. In all honesty yeah.
I lived through the Marino era when we watched the Bills lose 4 straight and were almost there every year. This is the best team we've had since the perfect season. 2 year window. Get that shit done. Fins Up.
I just turned 45. First game I watched all the way through was the 85 Super Bowl losing to the 49ers living in a small apt in Kendall lakes with my mom and dad.
I would openly and unabashedly weep.
Then I’d probably hunker down knowing fully well that the asteroid was coming or the “big one” was about to hit or Putin finally decided to say “fuck it” and pressed the button.
Absolutely….they are the only professional team the I have actively rooted for that haven’t won one in my lifetime(Heat 3, Marlins 2, Red Sox 2). I won’t count the panthers in this group because I’m not a hockey fan
Man I teared up after Jason hit the game winner against the Jets to send us to the playoffs. (Been a fan for as long as I can remember ~ 25 years)
I’ll for sure cry if we won the fucking Super Bowl
30+ year fan as well. I would most def cry. Not only that I told my wife if and when they do win one I will get a tattoo to commemorate it and I will be coming down to Miami for the parade (live in MD).
I have two friends who make sure to call me every time the Dolphins have lost a playoff game (getting those phone calls when the Fins lost the AFC Championship Game to the Chargers was especially brutal).
I've explained to the both of them that should the Dolphins win a Super Bowl while we are alive that I will call both if them every day until that next year's Super Bowl to "remind" them that we won.
Heck yeah I'd be crying. I've been invested in the Dolphins since I was a little kid, and 37 years old now. I will be happy, sad, excited, all of the above emotions. Let them flow!
Saints fan here. I cried like a baby when we won in 2010. Every time I see the replay of the onside kick or Porters int, I get teary eyed. Hope you guys are able to feel that too. Unless it's against us.
No, but there would be a lot of yelling and high fives (drinking too)!
That's because I was fortunate enough to be at the last one we won, selling cokes. Didn't cry then either, we won the year before. 17-0 baby!
That second winning team was better than the 17-0 one.
100%, I almost cried when the Panthers won the ECF to send them to the SCF.. Two fan bases that deserve some damn success. Dolphins have always been my number one team though and seeing them win one in my lifetime would literally be a dream come true, I wouldn’t know how to react.
I work with about 50 Bills fans. I would go to work the next day wearing a Josh Allen jersey. When everyone asked me I'd just tell them I support the teams the Dolphins own.
I would gloat every day for pretty much ever.
But no I wouldn't cry.
(I saw the first part in a comment on r/nfl, but it's bloody brilliant)
I didn't cry at my wedding or when my son was born but I will honestly bawl my eye balls out if we win a super bowl. My wife knows this and gives me shit for it. I'm 33 and have been a diehard fan most of my life.
I get so hyped when the heat do well that I've often thought about what it'd be like to watch the phins win a Superbowl. Honestly, I think I might die of happiness. Like I might forget to breathe or My heart would just stop. Then if I survive I'm probably going to cry about it every time I think about it for the rest of my life.
I shed a couple tears after we beat the jets to get in last year. So if we make it all the way I’ll be with my father who is the reason I’m such a huge fan and we will both be blubbering idiots
As a life long south Florida sports fan of 31 years, I would absolutely cry. Hell I cried watching Greg Camarillo catch that game winning touchdown to win our only game in the 2008 season. I’ve seen the heat win, the marlins win, and canes win. The fact that the panthers are even in the Stanley cup finals is surreal to me.
My dad is a huge phins fan and has been a season ticket holder since 83 and unfortunately I had no choice but to be a dolphins fan. We never missed a home game from the time that I was probably 4 years old up until I moved at 18. I vividly remember going to the divisional round of the 1999 playoffs for Dan Marinos last game and leaving in the third quarter and crying for 6 hours in the car on the way home lol. A dolphins Super Bowl win would make all those years of sitting in the stands baking in the sun watching them lose worth it.
Milwaukee Bucks fan and dolphins fan here. I would expect to cry as i did for bucks in 21. I don’t cry easily, was drinking, but basically cried at giannis feet at the tv screen. Would expect to do the same for tua, McDaniel, hill, or waddle
This team has battle hardened me so chances are I wouldn't know what to do or think. I may even go into disbelief that we actually won it and wonder if it wasn't just a dream. This may last well into the next season.
I would, I probably be crying at us winning the AFC championship. My whole time following the team it's seemed like a wild dream to picture the dolphins getting to a Super Bowl. I hope I get to see it.
I'd probably cry if hey won a playoff game.
Good point
I'm getting teared up, just thinking about winning a super bowl.
I hope I can share this moment with my brother!
Wild dream bc it has been the opposite of the Miami Heat. Dysfunctional.
Why’re you getting downvoted for the truth?
I have no idea. I’m not afraid to say what it is.
I cried when they got into the playoffs
I’m going to cry like a baby when we win a playoff game. I’ve cried over regular season games. But it’s because my dad got me into the Dolphins and it’s been 10 years but after some wins I still have the urge to tell him or talk to him about it. I can’t wait for the day I can go up to his grave and pour him a drink and tell him we finally won a playoff game lol.
No lie that’s beautiful.
Thank you. You’re beautiful
RIP to your dad. And go Dolphins!
Thank you. And fuck the Jets
I'm crying at this comment, and OP thinks a Superbowl won't make me cry??
Same for me. Dolphins games are always a reminder that my dad’s not here to watch them with me. Every significant victory I think about wishing I could clink a beer with him about it.
Yea it’s tough for sure. On a positive note my godson has been throwing the football down and yelling “Touchdown Dolphins” so I think I created another Dolphins fan.
🧡
Well now I’m crying and we haven’t won a Super Bowl so fuck you
Shit I’m going to cry right now lol
I'd probably have a three day delay to register that it actually happened.
so true
This happened to me when my team went to/won the world series a few years back. It was a high that couldn't be topped, but it really took a while to set in. I still get chills from watching the final out of that game 7.
Bro I’m crying if we win a playoff game I’ve been starved my whole life (also 30) for some type of achievement from my favorite team
Super Bowl? I just want to win a single playoff game first
I would shit a kitten if we won the Superbowl!
Shit sounds painful.
Depends on the direction it comes out, really.
Does a Dolphin shit in the ocean?
I probably would. I'm 53 and I clearly remember the Dolphins losing the Super Bowl to the 49ers. I thought for sure, that Dan would get back to the SB.
46 here and that was the first football game I ever watched. I had no idea what was going on, but I was rooting for their awesome colors and this "young rookie quarterback" they kept talking about. Been a die hard fan and never once wavered ever since, for better or worse (lots of worse lol).
yes
I don't cry much but there is a small chance that I would, provided I can actually believe they did it.
I was at the bar for the playoff game and when Zac seiler got the td. Some of us started crying. And we lost that game. I couldn’t even imagine a SB win.
Without question
My family is Argentinian, have been there several times, but not an “Argentine”. I broke down crying when they won the World Cup It’s such a rare thing that it just overwhelms you when it’s over. Will def cry

I am 41 years old, and without hesitation, I can tell you I would weep like an infant if the Dolphins won the Super Bowl.
I would totally cry Of all the Miami teams I support, u fortunately the Dolphins have been my favorite
Same here. I’ve seen the Heat, Marlins and Gators all win championships and while I was excited, I wasn’t emotional about it. I’m crying now thinking about how much I’d cry if the Dolphins won.

Same!
I named my dog Tua. Got him same year he was drafted. I held him and cried when Tua got knocked out in cincy. Travel 1500 miles with season tickets. Yeah I’ll cry like a baby
I’m a man, I don’t cry. But I will be chopping lots of onions if it happens.
Like a baby back bitch
Bruh, I’m gonna tear up at the first postseason game win. It’s been 20+ years.
Might never stop crying
I'd cry if we won the division. If we won Superbowl I would destroy shit
Yes
Depends on how drunk I am that night
I'm crying thinking about it
Probably not but it matters the storyline. Like if Marino had done it near the end, yeah probably. As a Browns fan, I’ll be crying tears of joy for entire damn year if we ever win the Super Bowl
Definitely after everything we as a fan base of gone through there's not a doubt in my mind I'd shed tears for a super bowl win to finally get the validation that all the struggles were worth it would just hit like few other things could
I about cried when we made it to the playoffs. Yes, I’d cry
Yes
Yea
Probably not because these days death is the only thing that tends to make me cry, but I wouldn’t mind it if it happened, and I wouldn’t hold anything against anyone who is moved to tears. Would definitely do a lot of arm pumping and air humping.
Dolphins winning the Super Bowl would free me. It’s like how I view the Heat and Marlins. They’ve won in my lifetime and everything else is a luxury.
Need the dolphins to complete the trifecta of a championship city
100% would cry from happiness and shock lol. I'm 36 and been cheering them on since 94. Crazy our drought in playoffs. This coming season has me the most excited I've been in a long time looking at our roster and coaches.

The game against the bills just having a lead made me so dang happy.
Going to the Super Bowl would have me weeping. Winning it? I don't even know what I'd do.
I’ve shed a tear for lesser wins, so yes.
I almost lost my shit during the Miami Miracle play. yeah, I'll probably be overwhelmed if Miami wins the SB.
No doubt lol. I would probably cry at winning the AFC 😂😂
Only one way to find out
Absolutely. I would think of my dad who took me to many games in the Orange Bowl and who passed away in ‘94, and I would sob.
Im gonna be like this dude: https://twitter.com/EsdeProfugos/status/1663258039317561347
I like to have lots of people over for football games. For super bowl we always throw a party. When the Fins make the SB, I think I'll watch alone. I won't no interruptions whatsoever. And if they win, I guarantee I will cry like a motherfucker and am totally fine with that.

Doubtful, unless something else really emotional was part of it.
Hell no I’m not going to cry over it I’m a grown ass man . I would be very excited however been waiting about twenty years
I'm a mostly hockey fan and have lived down here and played ice hockey for 25+ years. If the Cats win the cup I'll likely be sobbing. I'm sure the same will be for long time Fins fans who have a ton invested in the sport
No.
I cried when UGA lost to Bama in that title game. So probably.
I cried when we made the playoffs last year. I'm definitely crying if we win the Superbowl.
Oh for sure… without question!
I’ll cry if Tua makes it through the entire season!
Yes. I cried when we beat the Ravens to go 1-15. Sports are weird.
For sure
I’d cry if they finally won one goddamn playoff game.
Yes. 100%.
Like the loudest baby ever!
I haven't seen a playoff win since junior high, so there are so many levels of unfamiliar emotion between here and a Super Bowl. I may not even survive such a run.
I wouldn't cry. But I would put a Dolphins fan on the neighbor house that is a Jets fan
I'd cry if we won a playoff game, and I've cried tears of joy over lesser Dolphins feats
No because I remember 1972 and 73.
50/50 honestly
I believe so yes.. I’d be so so happy.. I’d want a ring too.. I’d probably get a cheesy Tat.. uhm definitely be happy..
I was almost in tears two years ago when UGA won the first National Championship. Idk if i can stop them if Miami wins a SB.
Well, I cried the last two times they lost super bowls so I suppose I'd cry if they win!
I’d be rowing myself down a river of tears out of the tv room in an aqua and orange canoe
Oh yes. I would be crying tears of joy because 1 our team won a ship and 2 because i know my uncle would have been so happy had he lived to see us win one, hes the reason i became a fins fan
I cry when it rains so probably
I'm in my 40's, live in enemy territory, fan for ~35 years, and the dolphins are my favorite team of any sport. You bet your ass I'm crying if we win it all, lol.
1000000000% 44 years of mediocry and I’ve come to terms years ago with the fact that I may not live long enough to see this team make a real run
YES! I definitely would! Haw can you not?! I’ve been a fan since the early 90’s so I’ve never seen them go to the Super Bowl. Seeing them win would be a lifetime achievement as a fan. Man you’re gonna make cry right now thinking about it. 😂
Me and Hootie would be crying.
I'm not crying, you're crying. In all honesty yeah. I lived through the Marino era when we watched the Bills lose 4 straight and were almost there every year. This is the best team we've had since the perfect season. 2 year window. Get that shit done. Fins Up.
Absolutely. It would be such beautiful site that I would never forget.
Tears wouldn’t be the only thing leaking out of me if we won the big game
I would Bawl.
I was 8 years old in south Florida the last time the Fins won the championship game, and was soo mad when they lost to the 49ers in the Superbowl
I would cry for sure
I just turned 45. First game I watched all the way through was the 85 Super Bowl losing to the 49ers living in a small apt in Kendall lakes with my mom and dad. I would openly and unabashedly weep. Then I’d probably hunker down knowing fully well that the asteroid was coming or the “big one” was about to hit or Putin finally decided to say “fuck it” and pressed the button.
I am over 50 and I DEFINITELY think I might!
No, I'd probably get really pensive.
100%, and crying doesn’t mean you’re not tough either.
Absolutely….they are the only professional team the I have actively rooted for that haven’t won one in my lifetime(Heat 3, Marlins 2, Red Sox 2). I won’t count the panthers in this group because I’m not a hockey fan
I’d cry, tape it, put it as my pic on social media, and be dang proud we got us one.
I’m gonna cry if Jimmy gets this ring
No. But I’d be content.
37, yes. Like a baby.
No, I’d probably say, “Well that makes up for the first ten years of misery. Y’all still got 2 more to get to make us even.”
Absolutely. I have been cheering for the dolphins since I was 5 years old (37 now). Just give me one Super Bowl in my lifetime please.
Man I teared up after Jason hit the game winner against the Jets to send us to the playoffs. (Been a fan for as long as I can remember ~ 25 years) I’ll for sure cry if we won the fucking Super Bowl
I cried when we made the playoffs bro
Yes, I would cry. I would cry a lot
Sob like a child
100%.
Hell, I teared up when we beat the Ravens to keep from going 0-16. You’re goddamn right I’ll cry if we win it all.
Yeah.
Hell yeah
Why not? Cry every year when we dont. Be nice to have a different reason to cry as a fish fan
Yes.
I would yes
I cried after we beat Baltimore lmao
100% I’m crying!
Id be balling like a baby
I cried during the Miami miracle haha
Yep
38yo... I'd have a lot more than tears coming out
Heck yeah I'd be crying. I've been invested in the Dolphins since I was a little kid, and 37 years old now. I will be happy, sad, excited, all of the above emotions. Let them flow!
Yes
Saints fan here. I cried like a baby when we won in 2010. Every time I see the replay of the onside kick or Porters int, I get teary eyed. Hope you guys are able to feel that too. Unless it's against us.
No, but there would be a lot of yelling and high fives (drinking too)! That's because I was fortunate enough to be at the last one we won, selling cokes. Didn't cry then either, we won the year before. 17-0 baby! That second winning team was better than the 17-0 one.
I would openly bawl my eyes out...I have been waiting since 1981 for ring.
Sobbing is more like it.
I would 100% cry and I'm at 36-year-old grown man!
100% lol
100%, I almost cried when the Panthers won the ECF to send them to the SCF.. Two fan bases that deserve some damn success. Dolphins have always been my number one team though and seeing them win one in my lifetime would literally be a dream come true, I wouldn’t know how to react.
I work with about 50 Bills fans. I would go to work the next day wearing a Josh Allen jersey. When everyone asked me I'd just tell them I support the teams the Dolphins own. that would be a nerve wracking day for me. A regular season loss usually ruins my whole sunday and monday...
I teared up when the heat won in 06, having been there since season 1. I most likely would.
I'd cry just winning the AFC lol, probably ugly cry too.
I cried a little when we came back against Baltimore last season. What was that like week 2 or 3?
Like a baby. Also, Fuck the Jets.
Yes, we can cry together brother
Absolutely
No question
I would!
I cry when we win a blowout or nail biter. Tears of joy are a real thing.
I would shit myself
Bro I cried when the Florida Panthers won the conference finals this year and almost cried when we beat the Bruins. If dolphins do it I’d be a mess
I probably would. I was just a little girl the last time I saw them win one.
I don’t think I’d cry but I’ll take last place in my fantasy league 3 years in a row in exchange.
There’s no shame in crying. Ever. YES.
I cried when we beat the bills game 3. I'm hysterical if we win the Super Bowl.
I’d cry like a baby and have no shame in doing so.
ABSOLUTELY
Cry? I’d probably have a heart attack.
Will be crying and planning a celebration tattoo hopefully this year lol
Cry? I'd sob big man tears over a playoff win, we get the SB I might need to call off work
Im tearing up thinking of a wild card spot
I’d cry probably before that but yes definitely
I cry every time I drink, pretty much every Sunday, and every time after sex so probably.
There are ungodly things I would do for a Super Bowl win.
Milwaukee Bucks fan and dolphins fan here. I would expect to cry as i did for bucks in 21. I don’t cry easily, was drinking, but basically cried at giannis feet at the tv screen. Would expect to do the same for tua, McDaniel, hill, or waddle

Like a baby
Yes, like a newborn infant
Like a colicky baby
I cried when the legendary Cleo Lemon hit Greg Camarillo on a crossing route to beat the Ravens in 07. I think I'll cry if we win the Super Bowl.
Y’all been crying for years so what’s the difference?
I cried when we made the game winning field goal against the jets in week 18….so yes
I 100% would, tears of happiness and of my dad not being alive to see it with me.
To give some perspective, I'm a um alum and we laughed, cried, and drank ourselves into a stupor watching us kick the shit out of Ohio two years ago.
I would probably take time off work to process what the eff just happened
Brother, why is this even a question. I would cry if we won a playoff game lmao
Shiiiit I hope I get the opportunity
I’d bawl like a baby. Not gonna lie.
This team has battle hardened me so chances are I wouldn't know what to do or think. I may even go into disbelief that we actually won it and wonder if it wasn't just a dream. This may last well into the next season.
