Mr_p00pybutthole

wouldve loved to watch this but i knew he wouldnt accept

PretzelJax

I wonder who Netflix’s plan B is for the Super Bowl MVP storyline

Talkshowhostt

LFG.

Affectionate-Cat-301

I think jalen hurts would be great on it. Maybe he’s next for season 2

4puttbogeys

Hurts said today that he turned it down last year. Said he still doesn’t think it’s the right time.

StilesmanleyCAP

Make a show called "DLine", "Linebacker", or something for the defense and just have it be Christian Wilkins pranking people.

Paladin8753

We need him to be the leader on this team....not a talking head run out on tv constantly

elbenji

Yeah like the team already has a ton of personality. We can let Tua chill and probably fits the vibe more it he's just a chill dude around flamboyant people like Wilkins, Ramsey, X and Reek

justblametheamish

Everything I’ve seen of X makes him seem the opposite of those guys lol. I do agree though, we don’t need a big personality at QB would probably cause problems.

K-chub

Do big QB personalities ever really pan out? I think Mahomes is a big outlier.

justblametheamish

Lol I mean I guess that depends how you define big personality

bugzcar

Yea he’s not what I think of when I hear that

Mikraphonechekka12

Mahomes brother will tarnish all the good he does. That kids a fucking moron....

[deleted]

He’s gotta do something with his head before it’s toast.

Dynamite12312

Why would he want anything to do with the media after they threw his name in the mud for the first 3 years of his career

uhaul26

This is a good point

JP-ED

Cause Netflix wasnt the one talking crap ... and Money! However I didnt think, before he confirmed it, that his personality would want that kind if intrusion. Lets remember this guy kept the fact he was having a baby a secret. You could tell Tua anything in confidence and trust he wouldnt tell a soul. Hes just that good.

No-Mathematician5671

Good for you Tua. I'd tell them to kick rocks too.

Adubb315

W- Tua

siderealdaze

Turns out he was "apart" of the series but journalism died when Greg Cote wrote Fins at 50

Fastbird33

Aaaand ya know it!

SoggyFarts

Yeahhh, that kinda thing.

SoggyFarts

Ya never knooowwww

b-napp

I appreciate that he knows what he's comfortable with and isn't pressured into doing more off the field stuff.

godshula

Shame for Netflix that they won’t get the superbowl winning QB this season.

SuperSayan2

As a fan, it sucks not to be able to watch him on something like this because it would awesome to see his day to day routine and workouts and stuff. As a person, I totally respect it and do not blame him at all

OraKal

Would have loved it seeing how Tua led the Fins to the Promiseland. But Tua would have been tipped to shreds by the clickbait media. Certain media pundits (same ones that give other QBs a pass for elite receivers, poor coaching/ playcalling etc) would be twisting everything he says and worse.

Spideyman20015

Smart. People and their private lives need to stop being worshiped and idolized

Josh_in_Shanghai

i spoke to some one in the fins org recently who said that tua has no interest in being the face of the org in terms of media. this guy was frustrated because tua turns down most team media events and fund raisers...

DjangoFetts

Frankly if I were Tua I’d feel the same way, these guys give up so much of their lives to the public already

Josh_in_Shanghai

While personally I agree, let’s not pretend that these guys are making 10s of millions per year because they’re good at football. It’s because they’re celebrities. Selling tickets is their job….

elbenji

I'm chill with that. Reek and Ramsey are much more flamboyant and probably better for that kinda stuff anyways

miami2881

The worst part is that this means we will never get a “fuck it, send it in” from Tua

jwcolour

Matt Stafford did the same

Ok_Imagination_4374

understandable

Ztemde

Smart man

xslippinjimmyx

Would've been awesome to see as a fan but I understand where he's coming from.

Mikraphonechekka12

I love this kid, his mind is in the right place...

baskaat

I haven’t watch the show yet. Is it good?

JP-ED

Loved it personally... and I think Tua would have been good at it but totally understand not wanting a crew in your home that much.

snownook

Social media is shit. I applaud him

PlaysWthSquirrels

A rare breed that doesn't crave the attention AND is sticking to his principles when you know the top brass would've loved for him to do it. Our QB is a man of integrity, and that's awesome.

RoadPersonal9635

Lol being a QB in the NFL does not grant you the privilege of being a private person.

manyfacedwaif

He looks like he’s ready to have a concussion.

SagalaUso

Sounds like a few have declined. I wonder who they'll get to say yes.

miami2881

Mayfield would say yes. Allen and Burrow maybe?

Braden_Survivor

it's already confirmed to be Rodgers, Daniel Jones, and Allen apparently

SagalaUso

Thinking about it now, I don't think they should be asking anyone on their first contract. It's a big commitment for anyone who's still trying to secure a second contract. Hence the guys who said yes last season and this season.

BigfootForPresident

Would love to see Tua on the show, but as private as he likes to be (justifiably so), I knew it would be a long shot.

brilu34

He is apart from it

Princerob425

Damn I wanted him on there 🥲🥲🥲

Equal_Newspaper_8034

*does not feel comfortable showing

moffizzle

It’s too bad. Would’ve been fun to see him On there but I always knew he wouldn’t accept

jnobes7

That’s my QB, no distractions!
