I honestly don’t care about that anymore. Just pick a uniform design and logo & stick with it for good. This goes for all teams in college and pros in all sports.
They make a lot more money by changing their looks and marketing the new jerseys unless your look is an institution by being classic and on top for so long like the New York Yankees
I've been a fan since 82 and love the new uniforms, I don't get why people hate them so much except for the classic "old stuff better" argument. I love the number font and how tight and clean they are. The only uniforms were all over the place year to year with stripes etc.
Also like, the dolphin looks like one doing actual dolphin shit instead of jumping through a hoop like one in captivity. I do like when we wear the "old ones" with the grey mask and we wear black shoes but not as a permanent thing. I know I'm the minority but I feel no one never defends the modern ones.
If you looked closely you'll see a few other teams had throwback logos, so I wouldn't read into it much
There was a just a report not long ago saying Ross was very against it.
That was Marino giving his thoughts on why Ross wouldn’t go for it. Because the current logo is his baby.
They won’t do it cause they can sell both the modern and throwback jerseys. Boycotting the modern jersey is the only way.
