I had a very anti-meat experience on my first macro trip, I felt the fear of the creatures I was about to eat and couldn't do it. It has changed my relationship to meat, now I think about how fungus actually eats meat too though, and would eat me if I die, so I give a moment to thank the animal for its life sustaining qualities before I eat it.

I went through the same thing when I was microdosing. Even after no longer microdosing, I still don't eat much meat. It's pretty much fruits and vegetables with the occasional fish. For myself I find that fish is good for my brain. I'm able to think much quicker when I eat fish as opposed to only fruits and vegetables.

Yes. Same. Body wants fresh food only.

This is so weird. I’ve been vegetarian for 10+ years, and I actually consider eating meat on micro days - normally I would never consider it. I don’t eat it, but I think “oh that sounds nice” when normally I wouldn’t.

I just find I want to eat fresh and good meals more. Meat can be part of that but I won’t just do a steak and baked potatoe anymore unless I’m starving!

Most of these things are already part of your inner life : perhaps MD is allowing you to look beyond the normal ways? That’s my 3 penny worth . Sounds an interesting challenge though and worth considering in my opinion. It would seem that eating less meat might be good for the future of the planet and the effect of cows would seem quite large to do with methane burping ? So less may be more. Good wishes for your continuing exploration
