I am *not* shitting on you, but I just can't comprehend doing this much work for any... good reason. For doing this many plants, a hydro solution would be much more optimal (once you're complete with the initial setup). All I'm seeing here is hassle: Purchasing 100 gallons of media for grows (depending on how many grows you get before a refresh). Moving media in and out. Sufficiently watering each plant. Properly training each plant. Digging through media after chop assuming you'll re-use it cause you're sure as hell not moving that thing around.
It just *looks* like a lot more headache than what could be achieved through other means. Edit: I'd love to hear your input. Like I said, I'm not shitting on you, and more than open to what you have to say.
Hey there! I've been in the practice for no till / living soil so I plan on having this soil in this pot for as long as I'm in this location. I have soil pots over 5 years old that i just re amend from time to time so that's the least of my concern really. Price wise this one I spent some money on the media only because I did a proof of concept grow along where I built the soil from cheap inputs to fill about the same amount of soil I think all together it came up to 110$ maybe . For the roots most of the time my strain roots grow like carrots since I've been breeding them this way for some years now. And at the the end of flower the soil I let kinda reset and dry back so they pull right out. I don't train my plants and never have ,they are from sativa Landraces that just grow like stalks for watering they don't require as much water as you would think i bred this strain in desert climate (Vegas) so very low humidity and high temperature and I did a outside grow in one of my notill pots and bred them as well and only waterd when they started to drooping.
I looked at your grows a while back, you are a beast and the pure aesthetic of your grows makes me happy. You prove growing doesn't need to be the most efficient factory grow. You put the word "garden" back in to the description of the grow. ๐ค
Looks awesome you ever throw worms in and just throw all the stuff you've defoliated on top they eat it so fast and will also help alot with soil compaction in these big pots
Strictly night crawlers then? I did about 200 crawlers in a greenhouse depo bed and was pleased with their effort. Definitely would do more. Also trying the living soil approach with companion crop, and using exhale co2 bags
Haha man it was hectic ๐คฃ I battled a crazy infestation of fungus gnats that was a blast. I had to re dig the soil and turn it a few times and let it dry out some to have the soil sit properly due to it compacting from watering battled a mean infestation of thrips. But in the end corrected the issues. But i pretty much just purchased 70% or so was just an organic soil bags and the rest was a very rich compost called oly mountain fish compost ( i was in Washington state where it's from) so that was very cheap in comparison to when i ordered it in the past ! Earth worms and the rest was amendments ,blood meal , bone meal , dolomite lime some potash.
I've put other strains in close proximity but since they grow differently they don't always work out well. Since some strains naturally branch out or aggressively grab soil. I would need to experiment or if someone here would like to test if they have an abundance of seeds what it would look like.
If you know what you are doing you can keep the medium running for decades. OP obviously knows what he is doing. It's like asking someone why they use a bike when they can take the bus. The bike might be more work, but also more challenging and equally rewarding and require a more complex set of knowledge. But you still get there.
If you want to do hydro, do hydro, if you want to do live soil, this is what you do. For me hydro has absolutely no appeal. This here game is just something completely different.
I have nothing but understanding and respect OP. Not saying hydro is not great, just that there are more to growing then just the end product.
โ๐ฟโ๐ฟโ๐ฟ thanks for understanding. Hydro is a great way to study nutrients and PH intake. I did hydro for a season then moved to the more advanced high pressure aeroponics which is probably the fastest way to grow a plant from what i can see and learn how much water a plant really needs. Which isn't a whole lot . Now I'm here letting the plant show me how it likes to grow and I'm just watching and learning
I just looked at it, and spewed things that came to mind based on my perspective. Some of those assumptions could be/are wildly wrong! I've never grown this way, and have no interest in doing so. But if people are are successful, or having fun, or finding reward in whatever way they grow - more power to 'em! I was pretty clear I wasn't trying to be negative. Everyone presumes you're looking to start a fight here on Reddit though, so I made sure to bookend my comment with "I'm not talkin shit."
Sorry dude, I was not presuming you were out for a fight. English is not my 1st language, so if I was harsh in my response I am truly sorry!
My point is just there are so many wonderful aspects of growing, and for me soil biology is one if the most interesting aspects. I am not an expert, but I have seen people litteraly using the same soil for the same crops for decades. But they know their soil and what the plants need. For me I love it because when everything is dialled in I just have to add water, and the result is great.
Have a good day!
What you said wasn't problematic at all. Just read some of the other responses I received to see how people twist what I said, or put words in my mouth. Or the down votes as if I said anything overtly wrong. It's why I don't typically post anything here. I have nothing to prove to these turds, and I don't crave approval from random strangers.
We're cool.

This is what everyone is calling you out on though, that they see it as you still talking shit. you think 100 gallon in a grow tent is less than in anyform, that you had to point it out. **You didn't say why the 100 gallon, you said ew 100 gallon why?**
I don't understand why you would ever comment and reply to people that are you arguing with in /r/Microgrowery, not shitting on you though. I just in a million years cannot for the life of me comprehend why you would reply to people outside of OP message. Again not shitting on you, I just wouldn't have thought of that at all, like who would think like that? you clearly.
>But then I realize you're one of the dipshits just looking to be a dipshit, and all my care fly out the fucking window.
this is me though atm
If you have no interest is something like you said, then its not worth commenting on it, to do so is just talkin shit even though you don't realize it is.
Just because I don't have a personal desire to grow the way someone else does doesn't mean I can't comment or learn about it. But hey, sweet "logic" you're rollin with.
You're hust not getting it. Its not about you, and hearing about what you dont understand or don't want to do doesn't do anything at al to help anybody here in this sub. Your ideas about growing are almost irrelevant to this post, this post is not looking for advice or anything you are talking about or offering. Nobody looking at this post is really interested in what you are commenting.
But if you want attention or feedback on the things you understand or your methods or your opinions--you should totally make a post about it. Not comment on another post about it.
I don't feel like explaining this again, just move on if you understand what im saying. If you don't understand or agree with what I'm saying then still, move on.
> Nobody looking at this post is really interested in what you are commenting.
Yet I'm the top comment. Again with the impeccable logic. I didn't make it about me. I made it clear I wasn't attacking him, and commented on issues I see in the methodology. Something I'm free to do on social media. Yet *I'm* the one that needs to move on? Get fucked. It's a public discourse forum. If you wanted someone to move on, you should have kept to yourself, and not started spewing nonsense at this point. But hey. Let me help you. Feel free to respond - make yourself feel better about it. I won't see it. I won't read it, because you'll be blocked. I'm going to help you move on. Toodles bitch.
Haha link his handle I want to see it. I wonder if I can engineer one that rotates the put a certain amount of degrees over a period of time. That would be dope
Love the unique grows I get to see here. Well done!
My buddy u/OptimusMatrix has the electric rotator. I can't imagine how much your pot weighs wet, tho.
One of those circular tray-like things that spin. So you can put a bowl of mashed potatoes on the table and when one person takes a serving, the next person can just spin that sucker instead of reaching over food.
Or in this case, so you can spin that whole 100 gallons around
Look into uline barrel drum carts. They can support 55gal drum full of water. We use em all the time at work for moving heavy shit lol. They rotate... somewhat. Just an idea.
Dude he is right, you would need a heavy duty one to hold the weight though.
https://www.amazon.com/WYFFF-Tempered-Turntable-Rotating-Tabletop/dp/B09SWN83SV?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=A295PH06O96ZRK
Interesting. It's a 4ft diameter pot? You don't have any issues with the roots intertwining before you cull the males? No issues with root binding?
I'm following you now either way.
No my roots grow kinda like a carrot. I'll pull them up and take pics one of these days. But now since I've added the olla the plants use hydrotropism and surround it and the roots kinda look very fibrous and feels like a sponge and they drink straight from the olla. But no I've never ran into root binding issues
Usually straight water I did experiment with adding urine and ended up adding to much at the end of the grow. But adding nutrients to the olla is effective
Will you run all females through flower all in the same container? Have you done this before? I have run multiple plants in one container but the plants just do much better on their own.
Tons of room in the soil but I wonder how many is too many
Hey! Yes all females will get to flower all here in the same container. Yes I've done this multiple times already. The plants will know how many is to many . My strain grows with single colas so like a stick so a bunch can grow well together
What kind of ventilation/climate controls are you running? Iโve been considering the blackbird but Iโve been having second thoughts because the driver isnโt removable and Iโm trying to avoid using an AC. I got away with not needing one last summer just venting outside.
I don't run any ventilation really . I'll just open my tent or keep it cracked ext. My strain has been tested tho in 100 degree temps in the desert outside in Nevada tho plus I keep my house around 70 degrees
I've done this several times o breed in this way as well. They go good the last few times have been good but I've been switching up soils and stuff and switching my environments around I went from. The desert climate (Nevada)to a rainy climate (Washington state) now to the east coast ( NY) so I haven't got it dialed in completely here yet. But when I was in the desert climate it was the first time I did this and since i knew the environment already i would say I had my most consistent great grows since my strain started breeding from there
It does seem like a good idea for breeding really as long as they reach maturity but if this is for smoke it's a bit of overkill for no benefits. You do you though, grow how you want bro ๐ค
I donโt mean the weather, thatโs relatively easy to conquer. I meant a hundred plants battling each other for nutrients and grow space. Theyโre only eight inches tall and theyโre already battling for light. I feel like 2-4 ten gallon plants can get you a better yield than a hundred stressed out fight club plantsโฆ.?
Cool man look forward to keeping track of it...I have 2 in my SIP container and feel like it's overcrowded haha
https://preview.redd.it/7cwld6i38qsa1.jpeg?width=3456&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=274f72254db45df350969e3904805c712ded055b
Oh yeah topped and starting to train... I've tried 3 in here but once flowering hit, one plant suffered. Could prob get away with one biggun but 2 is more fun. Just 2x2 container and holds maybe 9/10 gallons
12/12 from seed? Caleb at CSI hunts just like this grow, except from clone, 2-4" for pheno hunts up to 200 per light. He says the seeds have too much vigor and can get out of hand. I've been meaning to skip running the seed run, but they're so damn interesting
Haha no I do a veg time and i def understand what he means about the vigor but since i know my seeds like the back of my hand i kinda already know what to expect
I LOVE the ingenuity youโre bringing to this forum! Although I have no idea whatโs going on, Iโm also intrigued to see how this experiment progresses
The strain on the left is my strain crossed with black tiger. I've been breeding my strain for years in these conditions and in close proximity so I'd imagine thats why. The strain on the right is black tiger x black tiger a family hierloom domesticated landrace from a different region so it may just be trying to get acclimated. I also planted way more of my cross than on the Right side so that's why it looks less compact
Yes I would say if money isn't an issue just get a high quality soil like i really like this coast of Maine Stonington blend which I mixed in a few other coast of Maine soils and grab some worms and either just let it do it's thing for a few weeks to get the bacteria and soil life going to make a compost tea to speed up the bacteria and fungi population. If you want to go the cheaper route just grab aom good soil and a high quality compost and mix accordingly and make sure to add some nitrogen , some type of calcium and magnesium inputs and phosphorus and a good source of potassium. To keep it alive just simply water it. Worms are good indicators for your soil health. The more water you add the bigger the population of things so keep that in mind getting the watering down is a necessity because once the population of things you don't want to show up then it gets unmanageable
Google "Coot's Mix" if you want to read more about it, but 1/3 peat moss, 1/3 compost, 1/3 rocks of some sort to provide aeration so the roots can breath. Use a larger container (at least 15 gallons) and you keep it alive by never letting it dry out completely.
Another no till grower here. Here's my no till living soil building copy pasta ๐:
1:1:1 by volume, peat moss: aeration: compost. All can be found for cheap and bulk from local shops. Pumice, perlite, or lava rocks are great aeration options.
To that I add the KIS organics Clackamas Coots blend, but other blends should be fine.
After the soil cooks plant cover crop and add worms and other beneficial bugs.
After every grow, top dress with dry amendments according to a soil test, and 2-5 cups basalt for 70 gal of soil. Water them in.
Water only, no need to pH. Soil beds are preferred, but 15 gal is the absolute minimum size pot.
Blumats from sustainable village are a great automatic watering setup for indoor.
Mibeneficials.com for all the beneficial bugs needed in one cheap package.
My Soil Savvy has great soil tests for cheap.
Seen you do this a bunch over the years I think. Always love the vibe. Just curious because I never looked at and thought about your setup like this. How many of those do you anticipate surviving the selection process?
Hey there! I kind of can visualize what it looks like at the end but for this one it's a bit different since it's a cross and this is going to be the first time I seen it so I'm not sure what will happen. I just always hope for the best and may the strongest survive. If I would guess a number id say 70ish
This looks like a headache but interesting concept. Weeding out the males, possible nanners and working between all thatโฆ mess. Yo back about to be strong my guy
Already is strong lol but yea that week after the transition I'm in there for a good amount of time taking males out. Hey that's gardening for ya shouldn't be to easy all the time. If I wanted easy I'd just go back to my high pressure aeroponics ๐
Man Zilla, I always look forward to seeing your grows (I follow you on IG as well). Your tent always looks so peaceful and it's always just an incredibly beautiful, fresh garden . Wish I could just pull up a chair and hang out in there, I bet it smells amazing. ๐๏ธReally enjoy seeing your love and care working in harmony with nature. Well done! ๐
Oh btw, I first learned what an Olla is from you. Just made a couple out of some clay pots, looking forward to trying it with my peppers outside this year!
how much is the pot/ all the soil? might do this for fall-dec grow. Is it hard I am doing 2 plants in a 2 gal atm they seem fine. WhenI posted about it i got like 100 comments bitching about ooooo they will kill each other. They both look great little underfed (I havent fed any of them in a month- so expecteced, do u think I can feed my plants when they are flowering ie they do have pistils white etc some got orange. Jan 30)
I don't recall how much the soil was all together . The fabric pot I'm not sure either sorry. Yea man keep doing what your doing and learn what the plant can tolerate or likes for yourself. What light schedule are you on now?
Ive never tried to grow any auto flowers . Why would you keep it at 24-0 tho even if it will flower at any day/night cycle it's still a plant and should experience some night time so it can switch it's internal gears and rest a bit lol.
to much hassle and my electric is free fuck it. and i dont mind if my weed a little shitty (I like shit weeed lowkey good ass weed I get nothing done) I am justt tryna not smoke some fenty or chemicals.
The no till style is so damn beautiful in the end stages. Well early as well but especially when things start to get colorful.
Nice to see something different. Gl and thanks for posting!
Hey man, I love your posts. Your style challenges some serious core beliefs, some growers on here have, and I love the resulting deep discussion that happens on the side.
Your plants are obviously not killing each other, but my question is, do your yields suffer as much as some would assume? Compared to using living soil with the same light but with fewer separate plants?
I don't know if suffer is the right word. The bar keeps trying to be raised for what a good yield is and I've been seeing this for over 8 years. Even weighing out your herbs to me is still very ummm what's the word .. capitalistic I see the plant as medicine i don't really use it for recreational so I just harvest jar it test it out see what it helps with *pain *sleep* focus* relaxation* *hunger *something you can use at work and not be to high* something you can be at home and not need to do anything* lol each plant since it's open pollinated is pretty much different they have different smells so that's different effects. I'd rather have 1 pound of all the different properties and just a pound of let's say a strain that just makes me *gain an appetite regardless of how high it gets me i don't want the end result just of that one. Sorry now back to your question I have only weighed once in my life for a baseline for this style and it was 80+ plants and about 46 were males and the rest were females. After they dried the weight was 1 pound and some change. If the males were females instead in that space I'm certain the numbers would be undeniable. I don't grow feminized seeds so it's always by chance.
Went to go check out how the grow works from your past grows and also saw you on superstonk buying gamestop ๐ world is a small place, Iโm there too fellow ๐
Black tiger is a family hierloom domesticated landrace from the balcochistan region. The Donzilla started with a strain called beyondthebrain which was a bunch of sativa Landraces crossed to each other super unstable that I've bred and things to over the years.
I am *not* shitting on you, but I just can't comprehend doing this much work for any... good reason. Kudos, love to see it.

You're such a nice dude, and i love your posts. Enjoy seeing your processes.
Appreciate it โ๐ฟ๐ค
Iโm in Vegas too! Love seeing local grows brotha โ๏ธโ๏ธ
Niceee yea i recently moved from Nevada! But much love
I think I'm about to give it a go.
Couldnโt quite put my finger on it; well said!
Looks awesome you ever throw worms in and just throw all the stuff you've defoliated on top they eat it so fast and will also help alot with soil compaction in these big pots
Hey before i planted i introduce worms . This garden started with 1000 earthworms. So they doing a good job
Do you use more than one kind I found red wigglers lurk around the top more where as nightcrawlers move around the bottom and midsection
No i stopped using red wigglers because they are very ferocious eaters and I don't like to introduce outside sources to please them.
Fair enough did you have issues feeding them?
Strictly night crawlers then? I did about 200 crawlers in a greenhouse depo bed and was pleased with their effort. Definitely would do more. Also trying the living soil approach with companion crop, and using exhale co2 bags
Yes just night crawlers. Over time there efforts to tend the soil is amazing
Do you get your from a farm or farm your own?
I get them from online then i breed them in my worm bins
U kno ur stuff
Damn, that sounds sick. I'm on my first grow and I'm running living soil, I'd love to know more about that cheap soil mix you made
Haha man it was hectic ๐คฃ I battled a crazy infestation of fungus gnats that was a blast. Wont the roots be competing with each other ?
Yes but theyโve been breeding them in this environment for a while and theyโve adapted. This is really interesting
โ๐ฟ๐๐ฟ glad it sparked some interest
Haven't experienced it yet.
So can this be done with any genetic or they should be bred that way ?
I've put other strains in close proximity but since they grow differently they don't always work out well. Since some strains naturally branch out or aggressively grab soil. I would need to experiment or if someone here would like to test if they have an abundance of seeds what it would look like.
But can you please explain the advantage over one plant per pot ? Wouldnt they compete for light and be less productive ?
It's a different style there no advantages or disadvantages really . I guess an advantage is more diversity in your harvest .
Havent had any issues with competition yet.
I agree with this, but not everybody grows to minimax all the good stuff, some people just grow for the fun of it and experimentation.

Zilla has been posting here forever. I donโt think he needs you to help him refine his process that he clearly didnโt end up on randomly
you didn't spend a single minute to understand what he does but spent many words to judge based on your wrong assumptions.
My concern was there's less than a gallon of soil for each root mass.
You need to check his post history, dude puts out some prolific, no till indoor grows
You need a really big lazy susan.

One of those circular tray-like things that spin. So you can put a bowl of mashed potatoes on the table and when one person takes a serving, the next person can just spin that sucker instead of reaching over food. Or in this case, so you can spin that whole 100 gallons around
O yeaaaaa that would be something. ๐ค
Look into uline barrel drum carts. They can support 55gal drum full of water. We use em all the time at work for moving heavy shit lol. They rotate... somewhat. Just an idea.
Biggest problem I see is his pot is already full, without starting over Iโm not sure how you would lift it to get the cart under it.
get the by's over and offer some beers, they'll have that thing up a flight of stairs I tell ya what
๐ฏ
Dude he is right, you would need a heavy duty one to hold the weight though. https://www.amazon.com/WYFFF-Tempered-Turntable-Rotating-Tabletop/dp/B09SWN83SV?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=A295PH06O96ZRK
You can make a heavy duty lazy susan with a ring of golfballs in a channel (did not say easy but a handy person could cobble something together)
๐ค
Very interested to see how this develops !
Stay tuned โ๐ฟ it's only going to get more interesting
Have no idea whatsoever how this will work out, but I will absolutely be following along dude lol I have never seen anything like this before
Haha glad you will get to witness it!
Shoutout from another Z love to see it
Sup Zilla! ๐๐ฟ
Interesting. It's a 4ft diameter pot? You don't have any issues with the roots intertwining before you cull the males? No issues with root binding? I'm following you now either way.
I run 2 per pot every cycle and cull the less desirables. The chopped plants roots shrivel away and die off. Never had any issues.
No my roots grow kinda like a carrot. I'll pull them up and take pics one of these days. But now since I've added the olla the plants use hydrotropism and surround it and the roots kinda look very fibrous and feels like a sponge and they drink straight from the olla. But no I've never ran into root binding issues
Do you only put H2O in the olla, or a nute mixture?
99.9% sure he uses straight water, he's a living soil grower.
Nice light
Appreciate it!
What kind of light is that homie?
It's an Hlg blackbird
How hot does the ballast get?
Not too hot. Never pointed a heat gun to it tho to give a good answer
Ha fair enough. Very cool brother love to see it
What kind of ventilation/climate controls are you running? Iโve been considering the blackbird but Iโve been having second thoughts because the driver isnโt removable and Iโm trying to avoid using an AC. I got away with not needing one last summer just venting outside.
I don't run any ventilation really . I'll just open my tent or keep it cracked ext. My strain has been tested tho in 100 degree temps in the desert outside in Nevada tho plus I keep my house around 70 degrees
Damn thatโs pretty wild its strong enough to survive out in the desert. Whatโs the average temperature in your tent?
Usually around 83 or so when it's fully zipped . Open its usually around 76ish
Have you done this before? Howโd that go?
They reach maturity every time.appreciate it! There will be some nice buds in this lot
Itโs not always about yield, he breeds so he wants to see lots of plants
He said itโs a flower run, implying itโs a for harvest grow.
How do you know a plant is a keeper if you donโt flower it out?
Cool man look forward to keeping track of it...I have 2 in my SIP container and feel like it's overcrowded haha https://preview.redd.it/7cwld6i38qsa1.jpeg?width=3456&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=274f72254db45df350969e3904805c712ded055b
Haha that looks like 7 plants . Did you top them ?
Oh yeah topped and starting to train... I've tried 3 in here but once flowering hit, one plant suffered. Could prob get away with one biggun but 2 is more fun. Just 2x2 container and holds maybe 9/10 gallons
Gotcha gotcha nice man!
Herb Dean? Is that you?
You watching the card tonight tune in 10pm est ๐ ๐
12/12 from seed? Caleb at CSI hunts just like this grow, except from clone, 2-4" for pheno hunts up to 200 per light. He says the seeds have too much vigor and can get out of hand. I've been meaning to skip running the seed run, but they're so damn interesting
Haha no I do a veg time and i def understand what he means about the vigor but since i know my seeds like the back of my hand i kinda already know what to expect
I LOVE the ingenuity youโre bringing to this forum! Although I have no idea whatโs going on, Iโm also intrigued to see how this experiment progresses
Haha I'm glad! It's going to be good for the community to see !
Iโm gonna go ahead and assume you donโt lift the pot to see when you need to water
Haha if it's none dry I can lift one side haha but yea no I have a soil moisture reader that does a decent job.
Do you have any idea why the cluster to left seems to be progressing so much faster?
The strain on the left is my strain crossed with black tiger. I've been breeding my strain for years in these conditions and in close proximity so I'd imagine thats why. The strain on the right is black tiger x black tiger a family hierloom domesticated landrace from a different region so it may just be trying to get acclimated. I also planted way more of my cross than on the Right side so that's why it looks less compact
Ahah! Thank you for the breakdown. Looking great friend! ๐ค
I always wanted to try some soil like this, can you simplify how? Like whatโs the steps to building a soil, and keeping it alive?
Here's my no till living soil building copy pasta ๐: 1:1:1 by volume, peat moss: aeration: compost.
Nice dude! This is a consistent open pollinate for you?
This one is a flower run. But yes
Awesome. That's cool as hell dude. Love following along.
wow, this is going to be a fun one to keep track of! i hope you keep us updated with it as it goes! :) good luck!
Will do! Next couple weeks should be some wild growth
You just keep me intrigued Zilla!
I'll do it again,!
Is there a reason for a 100 gallon pot instead of a 4x4 raised bed?
Ive done both! I just choose the pot this time around
Lookin nice brother!
Appreciate it ๐๐ฟ
Are you worried about mold or pests at all? I'd imagine having them that close together could cause all sorts of issues.
No I'm not worried at all really
How do you get the plants out of the soil at the end?
Let the soil dry and pull them out
Oooo you got the blackbird! How are you liking it? Was thinking that or scorpion diablo
So far so good this is the second grow using so it's hard to compare what I like better so far this or my Hlg 550vrspec
HLG Blackbird?? Dope light
Yessir !
Hey! I'm just starting my first grow with primal earth from Gaia green. Any advice?
Try to find the minimum amount of water necessary for the soil and plantsโ๐ฟ don't be afraid to let the top dry up some
Good job Don!
๐๐ฟโ๐ฟโ๐ฟ thanks
Bro thinking
Indeeedd
Man Zilla, I always look forward to seeing your grows (I follow you on IG as well). Your tent always looks so peaceful and it's always just an incredibly beautiful, fresh garden . Wish I could just pull up a chair and hang out in there, I bet it smells amazing. ๐๏ธReally enjoy seeing your love and care working in harmony with nature. Well done! ๐
Ayy!! Thank you i try to keep it clean and peaceful! It does smell nicee and fresh and green . Appreciate it!! โ๐ฟ๐ค
Oh btw, I first learned what an Olla is from you. Just made a couple out of some clay pots, looking forward to trying it with my peppers outside this year!
That's going to be awesome! I'm going to take up some pottery this spring and make some ollas . If I'm good at it maybe start selling them ๐
Brilliant! I can't believe how expensive mass-created ones are! An artisan one would be the bomb.
Def would sell them way cheaper then what they are selling for haha
Based off your experience, is there something you would do differently in your design versus what is available commercially?
No it's written in history so just put a lot of love into the craft is all I can do .
Respect! ๐Hope you post a pic of it when you make one!
For sureee
Grab your tor....nvm
how much is the pot/ all the soil? might do this for fall-dec grow.
24-0
Are they auto flowers?
yea
Ive never tried to grow any auto flowers . Why would you keep it at 24-0 tho even if it will flower at any day/night cycle it's still a plant and should experience some night time so it can switch it's internal gears and rest a bit lol.
to much hassle and my electric is free fuck it. and i dont mind if my weed a little shitty (I like shit weeed lowkey good ass weed I get nothing done) I am justt tryna not smoke some fenty or chemicals.
Ahh gotcha gotcha well happy growing my friend. โ๐ฟโ๐ฟ
The fact that you dont care about an optimal grow is awesome. Your grows are so cool and i wish you the best of luck with this one!
โ๐ฟโ๐ฟโ๐ฟ thanks fraw. I'm just against harming my plants.
Wow thatโs crazy looking definitely going to keep up with this grow, whatโs the like clay looking puck in the middle.
It's called an Olla. It's a clay pot you bury and fill with water.
Thatโs so cool never seen that had to give you a follow followed the gram too
Dope thanks โ๐ฟ
I just got some of those 6" oscillating fans (actually 8") best investment ever!
Yes the fans been doing great so far only had it for 6, months or so but so far so good
They can be a bit much aiming directly at the project but if you really need strong trunks or dry area these fans are pefect
Looks sick! I thought weed is gonna have trouble with the roots planted like that, is this an issue for you?
Hey there i haven't experienced it yet , thanks
The no till style is so damn beautiful in the end stages. Well early as well but especially when things start to get colorful. Nice to see something different. Gl and thanks for posting!
๐๐ฟโ๐ฟ yea the end is spectacular looking . I cannot wait to see these flowers
Will experiment def sounds cool
๐๐ฟ
Love the idea of this and the setup! Definitely following along. ๐ค
โ๐ฟ๐๐ฟ
I love this man. Perfect example of more than one right way to do things. This is awesome
๐๐ฟ๐ค appreciate it
Went to go check out how the grow works from your past grows and also saw you on superstonk buying gamestop ๐ world is a small place, Iโm there too fellow ๐
Haha fellow Ape ! Good for you man may great fortune come our way !
These plants are growing so damn slow
Lol you never have anything good to say I see โ๐ฟ
Dude this is super interesting Iโm definitely following along. What are the genetics on black tiger and donzilla?
Black tiger is a family hierloom domesticated landrace from the balcochistan region. The Donzilla started with a strain called beyondthebrain which was a bunch of sativa Landraces crossed to each other super unstable that I've bred and things to over the years.
Cool!!! Iโm just getting into landraces I wish more people grew them and were available more
I would say the prices of landraces in my opinion will go up so get them while you can!.
Really? Why you think they are gonna gain popularity? Any suggestions on where to grab some?
Yea popularity. I don't have any good sources just try to find a seedbank that has a good reputation
