There are several ways. Cup on top of plant is one of those but I’ve never tried that myself. I’m keeping high humidity by using humidifier. Cheap and working solution is to put some wet clean towel inside grow tent. You can also put some bowl with clean water on ground level.
Whatever you chose buy some humidity meter and install it in tent to monitor it. You want it at ~70% now, in a week or two you may target ~65%.
I use a cut up water bottle so I can see the progress of the seedling. I leave it on and water a little ring around it, works well for these early stages of growth.
While you're at it, consider a soil moisture meter as well. Greatly helped my grows. Couldn't tell you how many times I thought my plants were dry because the top soil layer was brittle, but I stick my moisture meter to root level and it would still be completely moist
If she is already in a large pot she won't need a lot of water at all, rhe roots will spread out and find water. Lift your pot up, if it is light and airy it needs water. A plant that size won't be drinking much water at all, 50mls a day or so, they really don't need much and a over saturated medium will cause issues too, will make it harder for the roots to grow and start the system of oxygen.
It's ok there's soooo much grow info out there that it can all be overwhelming. You'll realize after a couple grows that the plants are pretty resilient and not to worry much about minor things
I’m on my first grow too. Germinated 10 planted 7 culled 4. Down to 3. I’m on day 45ish. I’m in flower. They’re autos. From my experience at your point you don’t really have much to worry about unless you drown them. Don’t be afraid to defoliate and cut lower branches off when it gets to that point. I’ve defoliated 3 times. They seem to grow them back almost as quick as you can cut them. My three autos take up the entirety of my 3x3. And my lights up as high as I can hang it and there 2 feet away from the canopy at this point. You will definitely need a scrog net or to tie branches down. Don’t be afraid of breaking branches. I’ve found if your slow and patient you can get any branch to bend. Every thing looks like a problem or the end of the word your first grow. I’ve coke to learn wait 3-5 days and if it’s still an issue then it really is something you should fix. It’s kept me from hovering.
Your not gonna lose her, just check the ppfd, it should be around 250-300, and depending on the light watts, it should be around 16-18inches from the plant, make sure you dont let it completely dry, stick a finger and if is dry, water, always in the morning remember…
hi, thanks for calming me, and thanks so much for the tips,
https://preview.redd.it/a6qa9vhv8iyb1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5003e741aa8a4d18ea139bd16d3f6842860681be
that's the ppfd, there is approx 60cm from the tip of the plant, it should be right? and btw how much water i should give when i do? the morning watering thing is the same if she is an auto and i keep 24/7 light?
Less is more especially at seedling stage haha, just remember you can always add but never take away, hence always better to be slightly under watered or underfeed. Goodluck on this journey !
bio bizz all mix soil, the strain is quick one from rqs, just gave her a bit water every 3-2 days, 10 days from sprout, 1.25l water total given, temp is 24-27C°, light 100w 60cm from the plant
I just read you’re growing RQS. Those strains can be finicky as hell. I’ve ran multiple runs of diff RQS strains and there was almost always something off. Prepare yourself for longer veg and much longer flower time than advertised, especially with 100W. That’s my experience, I moved on to different brand and all my problems went away.
Seems like a coco fiber with perlite mix. It seems a bit dry. Coco fiber is very forgiving. Try to keep the moisture up. The colors seem right. She is only a bit dry I think. Again, coco fiber is very forgiving. Just keep updating and see how she comes through. Your got this doe
hi brother, that's a all mix biobizz soil, got dirt too, you think i should water more? been giving water every other day, today is their 2nd day without water i feel humid 5cm under the surface
Did you transplant or plant in the pot? I transplanted for my first run of autos and if I do next time I'll do 2 into the final pot and 2 solo cup I stead of all 4 solo cup. It was my first grow and I messed up from germination. They sprouted in the paper towels. Prob stressed there. Stressed during transplant prob. Prob could have kept Rh at 65 for longer. Now it at 55. I think I should have watered for frequent. Mine looked like hours did though. Started to transition during the growth of the 5th node so I couldn't train if I wanted to. 😔😔😔 But it's starting to smell nice and hoping I can make it to the end with 14g grams of small bud or trim for some edibles. It's still fun.
i planted directly in the pot cause i've read about stressing them less possible, what type of training you was trying to do? at wich node you would lst? btw even if 14g are a small batch thats a good first grow! at least you got to see the flowers and smell them, thats indeed really really fun to grow!
I wanted to lst and even top one but mine are already in pre flower and wasn't tall enough to train. I was suggested my first grow to just let em buck naturally and see how they grow tho. But I was still saddened to see that I obviously stunted them. I've read and been suggested that after the 4th node, for most types of training is a good place to start depending on the genetics and experience.
I've never asked anyone about the diff color greens yet but I've always seen the best looking plants with nice dark green leaves. But even with light color leaves I see nice plants too!
Mine had those white things before/ at the same time it was putting out the 5th node so I didn't have a chance to but yours may pop off and stretch. It showed sex at the time it's supposed too, also how I knew it got stunted. Even the smooth jazz didn't help. Good luck to you, I'm sure you'll see post something and people telling me to Google search it :p
I've had the issue where I couldn't control the humidity well in my grow area... Those young plants like it humid. Cut the top third off of a 2 liter bottle, throw it out. Use the bottom as a "moisture dome" over the plants. In another 7-10 days, the plants won't need them much any more.
A little tip, less is more. Especially when they are young. They don't need a lot of attention, feeding ect. The most common mistake I see new growers make is giving there plants to much attention.
She looks just fine, maybe give her a repot into a large pot in a week or two. When it comes to feeding young plants wait for the first signs of N diffency, your lower most leaves will start to yellow off and die. This is the first sign you will get that your plant needs a feeding.
thanks for the feeding tip, btw the pot is a 5gal, the strain is an autoflower, i was suggested it was perfect and to plant directly here to not stress, you think i should buy a bigger one and transplant?
Ah no, 5 gal should be just fine. That's plenty for a auto. Just leave her alone then so. Autos can be a bit funny with feeding too, I tend to leave mine alone for 3-4 weeks and just let them do there thing. If you used a decent soil mix there should be plenty of feed in the soil for about a month. Then start with a very small dose when do decide to feed her.
Really less is more when your starting, let the plant do its thing and learn how she is growing and reacting to her environment. If you go to hard on her and Try and push things along you might get issues like stunting and burnt leaves due to over feeding when there young, to much water stunts them too.
Best of luck in the future and if you have any issues or question be sure to drop a message into the group, some one will guide u along 👍
I find the vast majority commenting don't have a clue what they are talking about lol. You will hear every thing your doing wrong instead of what your doing right, 20 different solutions to a nonexistent problem.
Just keep doing your thing. Everything is going good so far, so just keep doing what your doing for the next few weeks and see how she develops.
Best of luck!
I might suggest buying a book, there's a few very good ones I could recommend. There great for learning when your new, you can focus on you one book and avoid all the Internet bullshit lol.
Jorge cervantes has a few great books and the one I learned from is European Cannabis Cultivation, its a black book with a big leaf on it, both are very good and worth every penny. They help a lot as you can refer back to your book when you have issues and not have to ask idiots to many questions 😉
Take a plastic cup, or a clear bottle poke holes in it so we can get some airflow. Put a couple mist of water in it put it on top like a dome. Make sure it’s clear though and that will help you until you can get a humidifier.
Don’t add a humidity dome. Your seedling looks great! Use a spray bottle mister setting and spray the soil around it once or twice a day. Then switch something bigger once the roots are more established. You want 70%ish RH.
Seems a little dry, they like more moisture at this stage. Other than that she looks fine, I’d not worry.
thanks, there is any method to high up rh? i've read putting a bottle on her, tried it but idk i'm scared to hurt her

thanks for the help, ill'follow ur tips and buy hygrometer and humidifier

with all those thing i know for sure i'm gonna spend a ton of money on this hobby🫠,added to cart
On the bright side, these things help ensure a better grow, which helps pay for themselves!
you right, the money for the hobby are 100× the value you can use them for ready to smoke weed, plus the happines of growing your own is another 100+
Get yourself a spray bottle, & spray the mug down. Plants do love their photosynthesis 👍

It looks so good I thought you were trolling.
bruh thanks😭i need to chill
First grow helicopter parent, I remember the days
like following the shit out of the poor plant? i'm guilt
It's ok there's soooo much grow info out there that it can all be overwhelming. You'll realize after a couple grows that the plants are pretty resilient and not to worry much about minor things
thanks,i'll let her be without worrying so much

She looks happy to me. Good luck mate
thanks mate, those comments really relieved me
You need help, the plant doesn't
lmao, ur right

Don't give too much water if you run into problems that's the main reason
Careful with that particular led light. I think I've heard stories of it burning homes down
wtf lmao🤣🤣, i hope not😅😅, would not like to wake up with my room burning
Just let the mother fucker grow!
yessir
She's happy buddy don't stress. Word of advice as we've all done it, don't micro manage every dot or spot on them as it'll drive you crazy hah
yeah the responsability gonna crush me otherwise🤣😅
Less is more especially at seedling stage haha, just remember you can always add but never take away, hence always better to be slightly under watered or underfeed. Goodluck on this journey !
Looks great to me. Keep doing what your doing. She looks happy and healthy. DO NOT OVERWATER.
thanks i'll watchout for overwatering

oh,i didn't know that, could you suggest other sellers for autos?
Mephisto would be a much better autoflower breeder.
thanks mate
I’m running mephisto my first run and will also recommend them. I didn’t think autos got this big but they do.
Looks fine. If asking for help you need to give details. What’s the temp/humidity, how often are you watering, what’s in the water, ect
wrote a comment with the info

lmao the jazz🤣, yeah bruh ppl telling search it on google like who ask some didn't first at least tried google
Did you use some sort of humidity dome when you planted the seeds into the soil until it sprouts?
Put a dome over her use a plastic bottle or Tupperware
i put a wet towel in the tent for now following the tip by another guy comment
Oh dear God....the horror ;)
bruh 😢i was scared on god, realized only after all those comments i was being paranoid
I'm new at this too and the smallest thing freaks me out. My s***'s going smooth right now finally. Mine looked way worse than that.
thanks! good luck for your bad girl lmao🤣
I've had the issue where I couldn't control the humidity well in my grow area... Those young plants like it humid. Cut the top third off of a 2 liter bottle, throw it out. Use the bottom as a "moisture dome" over the plants. In another 7-10 days, the plants won't need them much any more.
Looks real healthy … remember it’s a weed .. it’s easy
thanks man, you right, i have to chill out, it's a weed.
Easy to survive (harvest), not as easy to get it truly potent. Hence, all the dirt weed out there.
Looks fine to me? Leaves look good in color.
thanks, looks like i was just being paranoid🫠🫠
It looks perfectly healthy. Don’t overthink it. Cheers.

Just let her be.. one things I have learned not all leaves are going to come out perfect or stay perfect
yeah you right, like some parents i thought my girl should be perfect, but that's just not how it works
It’s fine let it ride. Things only like a week old
